Shameless James Argent dances with pal Megan McKenna at her wedding after assault arrest
SHAMELESS James Argent danced with his pal Megan McKenna at her lavish wedding this weekend after his assault arrest.
Towie alum James, 37, beamed from ear-to-ear and busted a move alongside his former co-star Megan, 32, following her nuptials with footballer Oliver Burke, 28.

Posting a video to Instagram from the festivities, he wrote in his caption: “Congratulations to the beautiful Bride, My dear friend @meganmckenna who got married to the lovely @oliverjburke yesterday.
“I can’t tell you how much it meant to me, That you wanted me there on your special Wedding day.
“We danced together just like old times in Nu Bar Loughton when we were kids.
“We always supported each other in those TOWIE days & remained friends ever since.
“You’ve blossomed into an amazing woman. You’re a fantastic mum & you’re going to make a great wife!
“And your a much better singer than me haha. Love ya.”
The post comes shortly after Nicoline, 32, released a bombshell statement revealing shocking details about James’ attack on her.
James turned on model Nicoline while they were at their home in Spain last month.
He was arrested and spent several hours in police cells before admitting a charge of domestic violence in court.
Nicoline later spoke out in a statement, confessing: “My fractures on my body have finally healed but I’m wounded inside.”
Recalling the traumatic experience, she said: “I was brutally thrown out of our new home in the middle of the night wearing only my pyjamas.
“I opened the door to let him in and only minutes after I found myself laying down on the stairs outside our house.
My clothes and belongings were being thrown out from the balcony down on me. I was injured.”
Nicoline also placed the blame for Argent’s violence with constant clashes over his ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright.
Shortly before the attack, she posted a story questioning whether it was acceptable for someone to remain close to their ex while in a new relationship.
And Nicoline claimed she and Argent often clashed over Lydia’s involvement in their romance.
She said: “I felt there were too many people in our relationship: me, my boyfriend and his ex. ‘Three’s a crowd’, they say.
“I asked so many times if we could be just the two of us, but the answer was a strong NO.
“I experienced what I can only describe as targeted emotional distress which he allowed to continue.”
Nicoline continued: “After being together for one year my boyfriend finally promised me that he would have boundaries.
“He would put a stop to all that had been going on for months.
“But he didn’t. Instead he broke the promise and her controlling behaviour continued. The rest is history.”
Domestic abuse - how to get help
DOMESTIC abuse can affect anyone - including men - and does not always involve physical violence.
Here are some signs that you could be in an abusive relationship:
- Emotional abuse – Including being belittled, blamed for the abuse – gaslighting – being isolated from family and friends, having no control over your finances, what you wear and who you speak to
- Threats and intimidation – Some partners might threaten to kill or hurt you, destroy your belongings, stalk or harass you
- Physical abuse – This can range from slapping or hitting to being shoved over, choked or bitten.
- Sexual abuse – Being touched in a way you do not want to be touched, hurt during sex, pressured into sex or forced to have sex when you do not consent.
If any of the above apply to you or a friend, you can call these numbers:
- The Freephone National Domestic Abuse Helpline, run by Refuge on 0808 2000 247 for free at any time, day or night
- Men who are being abused can call Respect Men’s Advice Line on 0808 8010 327 or ManKind on 0182 3334 244
- Those who identify as LGBT+ can ring Galop on 0800 999 5428
- If you are in immediate danger or fear for your life, always ring 999
Remember, you are not alone.
1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience domestic abuse over the course of their lifetime.
Every 30 seconds the police receive a call for help relating to domestic abuse.
Nicoline went on to thank the people who came to her aid and added: ” have tried to understand why.
“I have cried so many tears thinking about the way he chose to hurt me. He said he loved me and I believed him and here we are.
“There is now a legal record of what happened. Violence has no excuse – no matter how much love preceded it.”
Argent was handed a six month suspended sentence and a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting Nicoline.
He has only spoken once since The Sun revealed the attack on Nicoline and said: “I haven’t relapsed.
“I am still three years and four months clean and sober.
“I am devastated by what’s happened.”

Forgotten MTV reality star marries long-term girlfriend 11 years after starring with Vicky Pattison on hit show
MTV reality star Marco Alexandre has married his long-term girlfriend 11 years after starring on Ex On the Beach.
The MTV reality show was a hit from the off thanks to its outspoken, outrageous and downright drama-packed cast.

The programme dumped eight single people – four muscle-bulging blokes and four bikini-clad girls – in a sunny destination to help kick-start their love lives.
But the path of true love didn’t run smoothly, and the group’s romantic liaisons were interrupted throughout the series by their exes.
Marco Alexandra had viewers ‘aww-ing’ at their TV screens in 2014 thanks to his sweet romance with Frankie Thrope.
He described himself as a “Greek god” at the time, appearing alongside Ashley Cain, Jack Lomax, Liam Lewis Chloe Goodman, Emily Gillard, Farah Sattaur and former Geordie Shore cast member Vicky Pattison.
But Marco and Frankie’s love didn’t last and now the 32-year-old from Sheffield has found everlasting love.
He proposed to stunning beauty salon owner Emma Nichols in January 2023.
Marco shared a stunning snap with Emma at the time, as she proudly flashed her diamond ring. He captioned it: “She said yes!”
Their followers rushed to congratulate them, with one writing: “About time!”
Marco and Emma waited two years to get married, previously revealing they wanted the wedding to take place in Portugal as they hunted for venues.
And the couple looked every bit the picture of love in new photos on Facebook after saying “I do”.
Emma stunned in a dazzling white dress which she matched with floor-length veil, while Marco wore a crisp white dinner jacket over black trousers.
Hundreds of fans commented on their photos congratulating the newlyweds.
Since leaving reality TV behind, stylish Marco has been running his own fashion labels and is a property developer.
His most recent posts on social media show him promoting a property in Liverpool, and praising his partner on her beauty business venture.
