Her profits there working out at £230,805 for the year – with the documentary maker sitting on £705,688 in assets and retaining £540,718 after bills.

Her assets comprised £523,030 in cash, £161,431 in investments, £14,929 in and tangible assets at £6,298.

No turnover is reported in the figures, signed off by Zara on 30th May and filed at Companies House today.

Running the year ended 31 August 2024, they report £38,186 increase in the value of her investments with Zara employing two members of staff to help look after her riches.

The small print also revealing loans from the business to Zara at £122,798 during the year, with £14,929 outstanding as at year end.

It’s the best year so far for her at the business, which she set up in 2018.

Its nature of business is listed as ‘photographic activities not elsewhere classified’.

Zara pocketing a £23,661 profit in her first year or trading, £43,796 in 2020, £61,891 in 2021, £13,378 in 2022 and £167,187 last year.

Zara Nicole McDermott is one of two active businesses listed for her on Companies House – her other firm, Tiger Mac Properties, was set up last year.

Its nature of business is listed as ‘buying and selling of own real estate.’

In February this year, it reported borrowings from Nottingham Building Society.

Secured against a property in South London, suggesting it owns a £500,000 flat in a 1990s block in Wandsworth.

Zara has fronted documentaries for the BBC including Revenge Porn, Uncovering Rape Culture, Love in the Flesh and Disordered Eating.

Zara recently returned from a getaway to Costa Rica with One Direction singer Louis.

The Perfect hitmaker and reality beauty couldn’t keep their hands off each other on a sun-soaked day out.

They were spotted hiring a quad bike, with Louis taking the lead as they cruised through town.

The History singer wore an orange T-shirt and white shorts, which he teamed with black sunglasses and a baseball cap.

Zara stunned in loose white trousers and a crop top layered over her green bikini.

At one point Louis puffed on a cigarette while they waited for their ride, with a smitten Zara wrapping her arms around him.

Louis returned the affection by gently squeezing her bum and planting a kiss.

They were later seen grinning at each other before hopping on the quad bike and driving away.

Louis flew the Strictly star out in first class to a secluded villa last week.

He’s currently working on new music there and wanted to spend some quality time with Zara after going public with their romance.

She was previously seen locking lips with her new pop star beau as they dined at a restaurant.

A source said: “Louis and Zara are going from strength to strength.

“He got his team to organise her first-class travel from London to Costa Rica.

“It meant Zara was unable to attend the TV Baftas but she is keen to spend as much time with Louis as possible.”

Louis will be back in the UK for Soccer Aid next week and is set to play on the England side with Zara’s ex Sam Thompson.

Zara split from former Made In Chelsea star Sam in January, moving out of Sam’s West London home, and leaving behind the two cats they shared.

She has decided to skip Soccer Aid to avoid an awkward run-in with her ex.

Zara and Louis confirmed their romance on holiday in Los Angeles over a month ago.

The pair were snapped holding hands in a sweet PDA during their trip to the US.

The Sun revealed they were an item after they were spotted enjoying an overnight stay at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh in exclusive photos.

It came amid reports that Zara had formed close bonds with Louis’ sisters Phoebe and Daisy.

They recently teased a new reality show, with sources claiming Zara has been helping them behind the scenes thanks to her experience as a TV presenter and documentary maker.

Hated Man Utd owners The Glazers cost Red Devils £1.2BILLION as club release latest finances

THE GLAZERS have cost Manchester United £1.2billion in their nightmare 20-year reign.

When the controversial Americans purchased the club in June 2005, they paid a whopping £790m.

But the deal was funded by borrowed cash and it dumped £604m in debt onto United, who had just £50m borrowed previously.

As the Glazers reach the two decade mark in charge, over £1bn has been lost in debt interest, debt repayments, dividends and fees to the family.

BBC claim £815m has gone towards debt interest repayments, £166m in dividends to shareholders and £10m in fees to Glazer family companies.

And while things continue to get worse on the pitch, finally, things are at least looking up financially.

Brutal cost-cutting introduced by £1.3bn part owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe are beginning to pay dividends – even if 450 staff jobs were wiped out along with free lunches amidst a host of other spending slashes.

In the club’s accounts for the third quarter of this year, payments to employees by comparison to 12 months ago were down a huge £20m to £71.2m – a drop of almost 22 per cent.

Going out of the 2023-24 Champions League and into the Europa League actually HELPED the figures in not paying extra player bonus costs as well as non-playing staff departures.

Total operating expenses for the quarter were £162.1m, a decrease of £41.6m, or 20.4 per cent, over the prior year quarter.

And operating profit was at £700,000, compared to an operating loss of £66.2m this time last year.

Ratcliffe and his recently downgraded Ineos head honcho Sir Dave Brailsford can point to their financial re-structuring having a near-instant impact.

But chief executive Omar Berrada pointed the finger at the side that finished a shocking 15th in the table – and will have no European football at all in the forthcoming campaign after losing to Tottenham in the last chance saloon Europa League final.

He declared: “We were proud to reach the final of the Europa League but ultimately we were disappointed to finish as runner-up in Bilbao.

“We had a difficult season in the Premier League which we all know fell below our standards and we have a clear expectation of improvement next season.”

Berrada and the rest of the Old Trafford hierarchy are working hard to back boss Ruben Amorim in this summer’s transfer market having already forked out £62.5m – in what will be three instalments – for Matheus Cunha from Wolves.

Despite Ratcliffe warning earlier this year that those sweeping cuts were necessary to stop the club going bust by last Christmas – and concerns over staying within profit and sustainability rules – a £55m bid for Bryan Mbuemo was registered this week.

Brentford want at least £60m for the wide attacker and will almost certainly get their money although United, finances improving or not, will also have to sell.

Alejandro Garnacho has been told he’s going and is valued at £60m while Amorim wants to dump Jadon Sancho, Antony and Marcus Rashford along with Casemiro and Tyrell Malacia.

Yet as United juggle their funds to aid the rebuild, the club point to improvements off the pitch.

Plans for a new £200bn stadium are progressing, Berrada stressing: “We remain focused on infrastructure, with the redevelopment of our Carrington Training Complex continuing and on track.

“It will be the heart of our club, providing world class facilities for all our teams and our staff.

“We have also announced our aspiration to pursue a new 100,000-seater stadium, sitting at the heart of the regeneration of the Old Trafford area, which would be a catalyst for growth and investment in our local community.

“We are continuing to work with all the relevant stakeholders, including central Government, to support their vision for growth.”

Even the dropping value of the US dollar is working in United’s favour.

The club’s American borrowings still stand at $650m – the same as last year at the same time but due to the USD/GBP exchange rate in GBP United now owe £500.9m compared to £511.3m.

United are happy with what they say are “strong revenues which increased by 17.4 per cent driven by additional matchday and broadcast money by thanks to going all the way to Bilbao as opposed to dropping out of last season’s Champions League at the group stage.”

‘Gutted’ say revellers as popular Irish summer festival with major artists ‘taking a break’

FANS have been left “gutted” as the popular seaside festival has announced it will not be returning this summer.

Sea Sessions is a famous music and surf festival in Bundoran, Donegal.

The festival that started in 2008 is “taking a break” this year.

In a post on Facebook, organisers said: “Sorry for having been so quiet on here.

“But we have some news. Sea Sessions is taking a break in 2025.

The crew are working away on exciting plans and hope to be back to you with more information soon.

“Thanks for your support, the good wishes and all the messages.”

Many lovers of Sea Sessions flooded the comments with their disappointment at the recent news.

One fan said: “Gutted, but hopefully bigger and better in 2026.”

Another echoed: “Lots of festivals taking a break & waiting for a turn around in trends.

“The bottom line is people don’t have the same amount of disposable income with the high living costs in this country….. and it’s only getting worse by the year.

“I’ve seen the changes in trends in the bar & venue the last 4/5 years… scary….”

Organiser Ray O’Donoghue has formally stepped down from his role with the Donegal-based Sea Sessions Surf and Music Festival.

He has told the public that he is taking time to dedicate himself full-time to supporting and developing Dublin’s night-time culture.

He said: “Sea Sessions has been a huge part of that journey, and I’ve loved seeing it grow into one of the country’s best-loved festivals.

“But now, I feel the time is right to focus fully on my role with Dublin City Council.

“I’m excited to play a part in reimagining how the city comes alive after dark – with safer, more inclusive, accessible, and vibrant options for everyone.”

Over the years, the popular surf and music event has hosted many famous artists.

With last year’s line-up including Cian Ducrot, Johnny Marr, Jazzy, Jake Bugg, Amble, Kingfishr, Jerry Fish and Lea Hart.

In 2012, The Coronas, one of Ireland’s biggest bands of recent years, saw a packed out Main Stage tent.

Even the president was in attendance as he enjoyed the music among the huge crowds.

Artists like Bastille, Tinie Tempah and even Dizzee Rascal have all taken to the Donegal stage over the last few years.

Fans shouldn’t be too worried as the festival is set to make a big comeback to the Bundoran strands next year.
