Emmerdale fans convinced there’s another body in the lake after spotting clue – guess who?

EMMERDALE fans are convinced that there’s another body in the lake after spotting a clue – but can you guess who?

Viewers were left gripped when a party limo filled with beloved regulars was sent plunging into an icy lake – leaving multiple lives in the balance.

Some fans are convinced that the body must be Wendy who left the soap recently[/caption]

Charity Dingle, Chas Dingle and Liam Cavanagh were left sinking in the limo, alongside Leyla Harding, Amy Barton, Kerry Wyatt, Tracy Robinson, Vanessa Woodfield and Suzy Merton.

The tragic accident claimed the lives of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), who died on site and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), after she was impaled by shattered glass.

But things went from bad to worse when, while navigating the thin ice to solid ground, Amy plunged into the water below.

Struggling to break through the ice, she fought for air – only to be met with a horrific sight of a dead body beneath the surface.

Fans are convinced that one giveaway sign – a bracelet – revealed the body to be an Emmerdale legend.

After a desperate struggle, Amy was rescued from the freezing waters.

However, she tragically passed away from hypothermia in hospital before she could inform her family about her underwater sighting.

Although the lake was searched and the limo retrieved, the identity of the mysterious corpse still remains a secret.

But fans have been piecing together clues from recent episodes like a jigsaw puzzle.

And they believe that Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson), who recently left the village might be the person concealed below the surface.

Fans are so convinced this theory is correct that they have taken their opinions to social media.

“Had another thought. This could be Ella who killed Bob’s girlfriend Wendy! That’s who could be under the ice maybe?” declared one fan.

Another fan added: “You could be onto something! Apparently there are 2 bodies in the lake.”

“Still not convinced it’s Nate in the lake. Oh what the heck they throwing a red herring to throw us all off. It’ll be Wendy you watch.” explained a third.

Charity Dingle's biggest Emmerdale storylines

By Conor O’Brien

Played by Emma Atkins, Emmerdale’s Charity Dingle made her first appearance in 2000.

As a member of the ITV soap’s iconic Dingle family, Charity has had her fair share of dramatic storylines over the years.

Here’s a look back at a few of them.

  • Marriages: Throughout her stint, Charity has walked down the aisle four times. Her current husband is Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence J. Robb). Her three exes are Chris Tate (Peter Amory), Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) and Declan Mazey (Jason Merrells).
  • Affairs: During her marriage to Chris Tate, Charity embarked on affair with Chris’ sister, Zoe (Leah Bracknell). She also had an affair with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), her cousin.
  • Sexual abuse: A harrowing twist saw Charity reveal she had been sexually abused by detective Mark Bails (Rocky Marshall) as a teenager. This resulted in the birth of Charity’s son Ryan Stocks (James Moore).
  • Relationship with Vanessa Woodfield: Charity and Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) had been engaged to marry – but Vanessa ended the relationship upon learning Charity kissed Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).

However, no one really knows the truth and other fans are convinced that the bracelet revealed the body to be Nate Robinson.

Taking to Reddit, one eagle-eyed fan shared screengrabs from the horrific scenes, showing the corpse’s hand with the bracelet clearly shown.

Other grabs revealed Nate to be wearing the same bracelet that daughter Frankie had previously made him.

Nate hasn’t been seen in the Dales since September last year, with his sudden and swift exit never quite sitting right with fans.

Since leaving the village, supposedly for Shetland, he has had little to no contact with his loved ones, only sending text messages.

He was last seen speaking to John Sugden, after being falsely accused of sleeping with Cain Dingle’s wife, Moira.

The truth will be revealed in the upcoming episodes – is there a new killer in the midst of Emmerdale?

Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.

Dramatic moment Scottie Scheffler is arrested by police who ‘had no idea who golf star with £50m net worth was’

FOOTAGE showing golf star Scottie Scheffler getting arrested has been released to the public.

Scheffler, 28, was dramatically detained by police outside the PGA Championship last May, just hours before he was due to tee off.

The Masters champion was arrested by Louisville Metro Police while trying to drive into the entrance – allegedly around the scene of a deadly bus crash.

The American faced charges of second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, and disregarding traffic signals from an officer directing traffic.

Hit Netflix show Full Swing shared a preview of the upcoming episodes – scheduled to air on February 25 – which includes footage of his arrest.

Scheffler recounted: “First of all I was freaking out because I went from driving into the golf course to a jail cell.

“And I still don’t really know how that happened, exactly. I don’t think it ever really felt real.”

Full Swing will also be including the full interraction between Scheffler and the police.

And it shows cops having no idea that they are talking to a golf star with a net worth of around £50million.

Scheffler was heard saying: “I’ll be honest, I didn’t think this was ever a position I’d be in.”

The police officer – still completely unaware as to who was sitting in the back seat – responded: “Usually people never do.”

PGA commentators confirmed the officers had “no idea” who they arrested.

Another clip shows the cop asking Scheffler: “Nothing to drink?”

And Scheffler responds: “Just mouthwash. I try not to drink too much before I go play golf at 8am.”

The police officer was still oblivious of who he was chatting to and tried to do some small talk.

He asked: “I assume you’re pretty good if you’re playing in the PGA.”

Charges dropped

The then World No1 casually responded: “I’m all right, yeah…”

That led to the cop asking about golf legend Tiger Woods and all the buzz surrounding his celebrated career.

The officer asked: “Is Tiger as good as they say he is?”

Scheffler replied: “He’s pretty dang good…”

The criminal charges against Scheffler were dropped just 12 days after his arrest.

Prosecutor Mike O’Connell said the golfer’s claim that the incident was a “misunderstanding” was corroborated by the evidence.
