The landmark boozer was blown apart during the soap’s 40th anniversary episodes last week.

It’s already claimed the life of Martin Fowler, as actor James Bye bowed out of the role after 11 years.
But now fans are fearing four-legged resident has become another fatality of the blast.
Taking to social media, EastEnders viewers have pointed out there’s been no mention of Tyson the Chihuahua.
He’s the beloved dog of Gina and Anna Knight, who was introduced to the soap in 2023.
Posting on social media, with eagle-eyed fan said: “I will be requiring confirmation ASAP that Tyson survived the Vic explosion. Killing Martin is one thing but Tyson would be TOO FAR.”

While a fourth commented: “Ok as sad as it is that Martin dead but where’s Anna dog Tyson it’s been missing for nearly a year and no one noticed.”
Tyson is believed to be four years old and portrayed by Spud the dog.

Ben Shephard forced to apologise as Phil Vickery swears live on This Morning
THIS Morning viewers were up in arms as they accused veteran show chef Phil Vickery of dishing up a “raw” and “runny” omelette to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.
It came shortly before ITV anchor Ben, 50, was forced to apologise for Phil’s language – after a viewer claimed he had let slip a naughty swear word.

The drama played out during a segment on Tuesday’s This Morning episode, where Phil, 63, was showing viewers how to make the perfect omelette.
He used three eggs for his recipe, and showcased a variety of omelette options including a traditional cheese and tomato one, an omelette with herbs and a folded omelette against the clock.
Yet it was during whipping up the latter, which failed to set quickly in the hot pan, where fans called out the foodie for his alleged cursing.
They were quick to pick up him seemingly uttering the words “s**t, how dare you” as he prepared to whipped up the snack in seconds.
It came as Ben warned him “not to cheat” in the timed challenge.
Shortly after the commercial break, Ben was forced to apologise for Phil’s foul language, even though it was unclear to many if he said “s**t” or “shoot” – claiming a user on X had flagged it to them.
He said: “Pressure does things to people doesn’t it?
“Apparently people forget where they are.
“Apparently someone thinks that our Phil, when we were forcing him to cook very fast, may have been a little bit flavoursome with his language.
“There was seasoning in his language which might not be appropriate this time of day.”
“Sorry if anybody thinks that.
“He didn’t think he did.”
Meanwhile, over on X, one viewer wrote: “Nobody seemed to have noticed the swears #thismorning, but Cat and Ben have to make a song and dance about it.”
A second put: “Phil said s**t .. so what.”

Many more This Morning viewers were bothered about whether the food was in fact edible.
One speculated: “Those omelettes look awful. And they’re undercooked.”
Another sarcastically wrote: “A raw egg omelette. Delicious.”
A third mused: “That omelette didn’t look that appetising,” while one put: “Gooey eggs = raw.”
A fan then commented: “Give me a runny omelette and you’ll be getting it straight back.”
One then quipped: “I like my eggs dead tho Vickers lol not gooey.”

What happened to Alice Ruggles and where is killer Harry Dhillon now?
ALICE Ruggles was killed by her jealous and controlling ex-boyfriend Trimaan “Harry” Dhillon in “one final act of dominance and control” on October 12, 2016.
The sickening case is featured in an episode of ITV’s The Social Media Murders. Here’s everything you need to know.
Who was Alice Ruggles?
Alice Ruggles was a 24-year-old Northumbria University product design graduate from Leicester.
She took a job at Sky after graduating and developed an intense relationship with Trimaan “Harry” Dhillon while he was serving in Afghanistan.
Dhillon “bombarded” Alice with text messages and phone calls, gave her unwanted gifts, contacted her friends and family and threatened to kill himself as part of his manipulative pattern of behaviour while stalking her.
These threats were not considered to be genuine expressions of intent, but rather a tactic to control and guilt-trip her into maintaining contact.

She ended their relationship and reported her killer to cops weeks before her death.
How did Alice Ruggles die?
Lance Corporal Dhillon climbed into Alice’s flat through an open window on October 12, 2016, before slashing her throat.
She suffered 24 injuries, while Dhillon — who at 6ft 1in and 12st 7lb was almost a foot taller and three stone heavier — suffered none.
Jurors at Newcastle Crown Court were played a frantic 999 call by Alice’s friend Maxine McGill where she described finding her pal “covered in blood”.

She named Dhillon as the killer, branding him an “absolute psychopath”.
In court, the monster claimed Alice had attacked him and died after accidentally plunging the carving knife into her neck when she fell during a row.
He was caged for life at HMP Durham, where he is still being held, with a minimum of 22 years for the act of “utter barbarism”.
How long did Dhillon stalk Alice for?
Alice split with manipulative Dhillon in August 2016 after discovering he had been contacting other women on social media and dating apps.
He then launched a campaign of harassment against Alice and her family, even contacting her mum on social media begging her to intervene.
Dhillon hacked into Alice’s Facebook account to monitor her movements and sent her selfies of himself crying.
The stalking turned more sinister when he discovered she might be starting a new relationship with an Army officer she met in Germany.
Depraved Dhillon began stalking Alice’s flat at night, knocking on her bedroom window and terrifying her.
She contacted police and obtained a PIN (harassment notice) warning, ordering him to stay away.
But Dhillon, who was born in India and hoped to join the Special Reconnaissance Regiment, ignored it and sent her a parcel along with yet another pleading note.
When asked by cops if she wanted him to be arrested, Alice declined and later told a friend she felt “palmed off”.
She also chillingly told her sister Emma that the police would only “respond when he stabs me”.
Northumbria Police said they referred their actions to the IPCC, but said no one at the time knew the threat he posed.
The force has since apologised after the IPCC ruled officers failed to properly investigate.
Alice’s parents Clive and Sue set up the Alice Ruggles Trust, which raises money and provides training and education about issues such as stalking.
The Social Media Murders
The horrific story of Alice’s murder is featured in episode four of true crime docuseries The Social Media Murders.
