DYLAN DUFFY has joined Chesterfield on loan until the end of the season.
Duffy, 22, has made 49 League One appearances, scoring three times, for the Imps since joining from UCD in 2022.
But he will now aim to help the Spireites, managed by ex-Sligo Rovers boss Paul Cook, out of League Two.
Lincoln director of football Jez George said: “This is a really good option for Dylan to play a number of back-to-back games between now and the end of the season.
“For various reasons, Dylan hasn’t been able to get regular starts this season, so this opportunity is crucial for his development.
“Paul Cook is an excellent manager, knows how to set up a team and really wants Dylan, so that has been a big factor in the decision.
“Chesterfield are chasing a play-off place so they have everything to play for and Paul has a track-record of getting teams promoted.
“So, we look forward to seeing Dylan’s progress over the remainder of this season and hopefully contribute to their success.”
Westmeath native McGuinness, 20, joins having spent the past two-and-a-half years withStoke City.
The striker got his first taste of senior football in the Leinster Senior Cup for St Pat’s in 2019 and featured twice for Shamrock Rovers II in the First Division the following season.
But the disbandment of their second string saw his first-team opportunities dry up before a move to Stoke City in the summer of 2022.

A MAN who drove a tractor and trailer in a careless fashion causing “serious bodily harm” to the father of Ireland rugby legend Conor Murray was remanded on bail for sentence.
Seamus Hanrahan, 53, of Kilmore, Granagh, Co Limerick, admitted the offence before Limerick Circuit Criminal Court.
Gerry Murray, 70, Patrickswell, Co Limerick, was cycling along the N20 when he was struck by Mr Hanrahan driving the agricultural vehicle, on February 7, 2023.
Mr Murray, married to former Irish international squash player, Barbara Murray, suffered a brain bleed following the collision and was placed in an induced coma by doctors to try to bring him back from the brink.
Mr Murray was placed in intensive care at Cork University Hospital.
He has since been discharged from the hospital but continues to suffer a number of ongoing medical issues arising out of his injuries.
Lily Buckley, prosecuting barrister, said Mr Hanrahan made an “early plea” in the case, and that he “was looking for time to make (personal) arrangements” ahead of his sentencing date.
Mr Hanrahan has pleaded guilty to one count of careless driving causing serious bodily harm, at Attyflin, Patrickswell, while he was driving a DAF x2 tractor unit, which was coupled to a tanker semi-trailer, without due care and attention.
Mr Hanrahan’s barrister, Amy Nix, said she was “awaiting a psychological report” in respect of the defendant, and they were waiting for a date for sentencing hearing.
Judge Colin Daly remanded Mr Hanrahan on bail for sentence on April 7.
Speaking after his discharge from hospital, Mr Murray, whose son Conor lines out for Munster and Ireland, revealed he had to learn how to walk again through a gruelling physiotherapy programme.
He said that he still suffered with painful “nerve damage” in his right hand as well as poor mobility, and “permanent” deafness in his left ear.
‘LONG ROAD AHEAD’
Mr Murray said: “The doctors told me that I’m looking at a minimum of a year to recover from that type of a head injury, I have a long road ahead of me.”

Scott tells Tina he is ‘worried they’re not in the same place’[/caption]
Tina announces that she’s ‘going to withdraw’[/caption]
The furious star then storms off[/caption]
Tempers flared during a game of Truth Or Dare when Scott made a cryptic comment about Grace Jackson, 26.
Scottsaid he had a truth he wanted to askGrace– who is coupled up with Luca Bish – but said he “didn’t want to say” it aloud.
Luca, 25, snapped before announcing minutes later that Scott had said he’s “not feeling it now” with Tina.
Tina began to cry before walking off and raging in the girls’ dressing room.
In a sneak peek of tonight’s episode (Monday), things go from bad to worse for Tina and Scott.
Pulling her for a chat on a couple of beanbag chairs, Scott tells her: “By the way, what he’s just said has been completely, like….”
Tina interrupts: “Well, I’ve just got told you wanted to tell me this today.”
Scott replies: “I said to the boys tonight, basically, I love spending time with you, we vibe, but I wanted to say to you tonight that I’m worried I’m not fully in the same place you’re at.”
Wiping her eyes, Tina coldly says: “Cool.”
Scott continues: “That’s all it was going to be.”
With her emotions running high, Tina tearfully shoots back: “I’m p***ed off!
“Like I’m just annoyed. I need to process all this s***.
“And now I’m going to withdraw. I’m going to withdraw myself.”
Tina then stands up and storms off, leaving Scott sitting on his beanbag alone.
The tension reached fever pitch on Sunday night when Scott accused Luca of stirring the pot during a group challenge, which quickly escalated into a shouting match.
The gang were enjoying a Las Vegas-themed evening when it all kicked off during a roulette game of Truth Or Dare.
It landed on a truth for Grace, to which Scott muttered that he had one before refusing to say it ‘out of respect’ for Luca.
Luca instantly became annoyed and said: “Say it. If you want to go there, go there?”
Scott insisted: “Bro I’m being respectful to you.”
The islanders were then forced to step in as the row escalated further.
Once calm, they tried to continue with the game, but it kicked off for a second time when Luca was dared to kiss the islander he thought ‘was there for fame’.
He kissed Scott on the cheek, saying he thinks he wants to get far in the villa.
Luca added: “That’s why you’re with Tina and you’re not feeling it now.”
Tina, who is coupled up with Scott, looked horrified and asked for someone to explain.
She eventually walked away crying, before shouting with fury in the girls’ dressing room.

A MUM who claims she was chased out her sleepy village by jealous housewives has told of her relief after moving to a new home away from prying eyes.
Laura Whyte faced constant criticism in Aberchirder, Aberdeenshire, where she alleged locals hurled insults in front of her children and threatened to call social services.

She believes the hatred stemmed from the fact she joined OnlyFans – where neighbours feared their husbands were subscribed to her profile.
The mum of two went from living off £35 per week in benefits to raking in £5k each month and recently bought a £200k home in Insch, Aberdeenshire, with six acres of land.
Now she’s relieved to be able to film content freely and flaunt her figure without folk giving her a heard time.
She said: “It’s very different now and so much better.
“I don’t get any hassle and there’s no stalkers now thankfully.
“That’s exactly why I bought this house.
“So I didn’t have to worry about people getting jealous or making up rumours about sleeping with people’s husbands or rumours in general.”
Laura added: “Now I can walk around wearing what I want – or naked – without people staring or fancying me.
“I can do content outdoors when I like and I’m away to buy a static caravan to do it up for my own work space.
“I no longer have eyes watching me constantly or judging.”
Meanwhile, a woman has shared how she went from being a pot wash to making millions selling saucy snaps online – and she isn’t bothered by bitter trolls who say she has “no morals”.
Alina Rose was sleeping on her cousin’s sofa, unable to afford a place of her own, when she decided that something needed to change.
The 24-year-old took up a side gig as a stripper at first, which caused tension with her mum.
While this provided a more handsome sum of cash, Alina was tipped off by a fellow exotic dancer to a way she could earn 10 times as much – sharing raunchy photos and videos online.
Intrigued, she jumped on the bandwagon and as the cash began to roll in, soon decided to jump in with both feet.
Laura was able to afford a £200,000 home with her OnlyFans earnings[/caption]
Thanks to her online career, the model has finally been able to rent her own home – she is currently staying in a £25,000 flat in Hollywood.
But it’s not been an entirely easy ride, with Alina getting trolled online by people who say she has “no morals”.
“I get a lot thrown my way and it happens often,” said the model, who has 410,000 followers online.
“People tell me I have no self respect, no morals and no dignity.
“The reality is that I got really tired of being poor and washing dishes every day.”
What is OnlyFans?
OnlyFans is a subscription content service based in London.
As of 2023, it is thought to have more than 220million registered users and over three million content creators.
Sex workers charge monthly fees for access to pictures, videos and more.
While popular for porn, the site isn’t exclusively designed with that in mind – anyone who wants to build up a fan base and charge them for it can set one up.
Celebs like Katie Price and Kerry Katona are popular personalities on the platform.
“Whether you’re uploading tutorials, tips, behind-the-scenes footage or just endless selfies, a lot of your followers would be willing to pay for them,” the company states.
For every subscription that’s sold to a viewer, performers get 80 per cent of the cash while OnlyFans gets the rest.
It isn’t limited to adult content, as it has become popular with physical fitness experts and musicians.

THE family of missing Mayo woman Sandra Collins have made a direct appeal to the people shielding her killer.
In a special appeal on RTE’s Crimecall tonight, Sandra’s brother Patrick will plead with those who know what happened to the 29-year-old to come forward.
Sandra Collins was pregnant when she went missing in 2000[/caption]
Patrick Collins has never given up hope on finding his sister Sandra[/caption]
Investigators believe Sandra was murdered in Killala, Co Mayo, and buried in a shallow grave on December 4, 2000, after telling the chief suspect she was pregnant.
She is just one of a number of missing women whose remains were never found after they were murdered.
During tonight’s television appeal, a reconstruction of the night she was last seen alive will also be broadcast.
The latest appeal comes after the family met with the Gardai last week to discuss the ongoing investigation.
Patrick said: “I’m sure other people know what happened to my sister and I’m asking them directly to please help us.
“I want to ask them, is the secret they have kept all these years worth it?
“Is the person they are protecting also worth it?
“My sister is God knows where and our family is still suffering and we just want this nightmare to end.
“I hope this appeal can make those who have information change their minds and finally help us bring Sandra home.”
Patrick added: “Sandra was a naive, vulnerable woman who doesn’t deserve to be brought home to her family.
“The Gardai remain very passionate about finding Sandra and we have to keep fighting for her.
“It is never too late for people to come forward.”
This fresh appeal comes just weeks after we revealed how an inquest into the Mayo woman’s murder was being considered.
Last month, the Irish Sun exclusively revealed Gardai have held discussions with coroner Dr Eleanor Fitzgerald about a possible hearing.
INQUEST POSSIBILITY
And the inquest could see the chief suspect in the missing woman’s murder being called to give evidence.
The main person of interest in the mother-of-one’s disappearance has returned to Ireland after spending time overseas.
An inquest into the young mother’s murder can now be called after a ‘death certificate’ was issued to her family.
It was issued after Gardai launched a murder inquiry in 2010 after failing to establish ‘proof of life’ since her disappearance on December 4, 2000.
SUSPECT QUESTIONS
If the main person of interest is called, they could face questions from the Collins family’s solicitor.
A senior officer from the Garda probe team could be called to give evidence.
Summonses would also be issued to people who have been interviewed in connection with the 25-year-old mystery.
A decision on whether or not the inquest will be held is expected to be made early this year.
