SHE’S been working hard to slim down, and tone up her newly-slender figure.

So when it came to the family’s recent sunshine holiday, LadBaby Mum, aka Roxanne Hoyle, was happy to show off her slimmed down figure in a variety of eye-catching swimsuits.

Compared to this snap from 2022, the extent of Rox’s weight loss is clear to see[/caption]

The mum-of-two shared pictures of her vacation fits on their Facebook page, first opting for an orange one-piece, before swapping it for a daring black number with a cut-out on the tummy.

Rox admitted she wasn’t sure she could “get away” with the black one, but was quickly inundated with comments from fans urging her to show off her figure with pride.

And as she, husband Mark and their two sons hit the beach the next day, Rox praised her followers for giving her the “confidence” to wear the sexy swimsuit.

“Thank you for all your messages yesterday, you gave me the confidence to wear the black swimsuit to the beach,” she wrote.

The comments section on that post was also filled with people complimenting Rox, while others pleaded with her to reveal her weight loss “secret”.

“You look amazing,” one Facebook user commented.

“What’s you key to your successful weight loss? Need inspiration!”

“Wow Roxy you look unreal! Have you been following a certain diet?” another asked.

“I’m a tad jealous of the way you look in a swimsuit,” a third said.

“Maybe you might want to talk about your journey i.e. how your determination made you get there.”

“You need to let us in on your secret to losing weight honey,” someone else urged.

“You looked great before and look great now,” someone else said, warning: “Just don’t lose too much!”

Comparing Rox’s swimsuit snaps to images of her promoting her InTheStyle range back in 2022 shows just how much she’s transformed her figure.

But Rox has also never made a secret of her new-found love of exercise, and often starts the day pounding the treadmill before taking her boys to school, or during downtime at the weekend.

And in other comments, people insisted that regardless of how Rox has shed the pounds – her pride in doing so is clear to see.

“You always instilled confidence into others with your positivity before your weight loss, you should keep up your own confidence now and don’t be afraid of how you look,” one wrote.

Why do so many mums love LadBaby's Rox?

THE news that LadBaby - Mark and Roxanne Hoyle - are releasing an autobiography signifies a major career milestone for the pair.

And while they initially found success as a couple, thanks to their harebrained ideas and hilarious pranks on each other, Rox has made a name for herself on her own – and has an incredible 1.3 million followers on her Instagram page.

But what is it that has made Rox so popular with her millions of fans?

I think it’s a combination of her down to earth attitude, her bubbly sense of humour and her expert hacks.

As a mum-of-two myself, I’m always looking for ways to cut costs and keep the kids entertained, and rarely does a week go by that Rox doesn’t share a hack to help.

When she shares her hair and beauty tips on her social media, she can guarantee that fans are going to hit the shops in search of the products themselves.

In fact, when she shared a Primark ice face roller recently, I was one of the first to go and grab one, and it’s been a total game changer for my puffy morning skin.

She’s also managed to stay humble despite her and her husband’s rise to fame – a prospect that is much harder than it sounds.

And when it comes to the red carpet events she’s lucky enough to attend, Rox will usually go for a budget high street look rather than a fancy designer number.

“You have always looked great but you can see your filled with a new energy and confidence that makes you happy,” another praised.

“Your smile is infectious!”

“Never rely on anybody else for them to make you feel confident,” a third said.

“Confidence comes within and you are an amazing human being…so no need to worry about what others think or say!”

Rox has previously opened up about being trolled about her weight, admitting it was hard to try and ignore cruel comments being made about her.

Ireland has also seen more daylight since the winter solstice last December, an average of two minutes and seven seconds every day.

Met Eireann confirmed that better weather will soon arrive on Irish shores from tomorrow.

Wednesday will be mainly dry, with only a few light showers hitting the west and northwest, mainly impacting coastal areas.

Highs of 6C to 10C in light to moderate southwesterly winds are also expected.

Met Eireann said: “For tomorrow Wednesday itself it will be a mainly dry day with good spells of sunshine and just a few light showers near west and north west coasts. Highest temperatures of 7C to 10C.

“Tomorrow night is going to be dry with clear spells but temperatures will fall to between -2C and 2C with frost and icy patches.”

Thursday will see another similar day, with higher daytime temperatures before ice and frost return with colder conditions overnight.

They said: “Thursday will be largely dry with sunny spells though it may be a bit cloudier in the south west for a time.

“Highest temperatures of 7C to 10C and then at night cold with frost developing as temperatures fall to between -2C and 2C.”

Friday will be dry, with sunny spells and some cloudier periods.

Highest temperatures of 6C to 8C with light to moderate southeasterly breezes.

Friday night will be cold, with frost and some icy patches, and lows of -3C to +1C.

Next weekend will again see mostly dry weather, this time with some more cloud and a further drop in overnight temperatures.

Met Eireann added: “Saturday and Sunday will both be largely dry with a fair amount of cloud and some sunny spells.

“A little mist or drizzle may develop in places. Both days will be cold, with the highest temperatures of 4C to 8C.

“The nights will be cold also with lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees and with frost developing.

“Early next week will continue cold and mainly dry with light winds and day time temperatures of 4C to 7C. The nights will be cold with frost and perhaps some mist or fog.”

Man who raped, stabbed and beat woman after climbing in bedroom window of her Kerry apartment is jailed for 15 years

A WOMAN who was raped, stabbed and beaten by a stranger who climbed in her bedroom window as she slept warned the man was a “danger to society”.

Edmund O’Sullivan, 32, was jailed on Tuesday for 15 years with a post release supervision order of eight years after Mr Justice Paul McDermott said “the overall supervision of this man must be closely monitored.

The judge said: “It is necessary to protect others in society having regard for the dangerous and escalating nature of his offending.”

O’Sullivan had been released just ten days prior to this incident from a three-year sentence with the final six months suspended for the stabbing of another woman in her apartment in 2022.

He has 108 previous convictions, four of which are for assaults on women.

Mr Justice McDermott noted that partly suspended sentences previously failed to ensure any change in O’Sullivan’s behaviour and said it was of vital importance that he is not left at large and unsupervised in society which could lead to exposing “some future victim to a similar occurrence”.

He said it was hugely important that “these matters are addressed by those who have his custody to offer some measure of protection against further violence, particularly against women.”

O’Sullivan, of no fixed abode, and originally from Cork pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to rape, anal rape and making threats to kill or cause serious harm to the woman at her apartment in Tralee, Co Kerry on March 14, 2024.

He was sleeping rough in Tralee having been released from prison ten days earlier.

In her victim impact statement the young woman, who was described in court as exceptionally traumatised, outlined how she continues to fight to rebuild her life but part of her has been irrevocably changed.

She told the court: “I did nothing to deserve this, but I was left bloodied, broken and violated.”

The woman said she does not believe for one minute that O’Sullivan regrets his actions and is only sorry he was caught. She said she cannot stress enough that O’Sullivan is “a danger to society”.

The woman said she prays that justice is served not just for herself but for the safety of other women he might seek to harm.

Mr Justice McDermott said O’Sullivan’s history of violence towards women was worrying.

He said the cycle of drug use, crime, prison time and then being released back into society without accommodation continued for O’Sullivan – which led to “devastating consequences for his latest victim”.

‘COST OF SURVIVING’

The judge noted from the woman’s victim impact statement that she “believed with every fibre in her being that if she had not fought back she would not be here today but she said the cost of surviving has been immense”.

He noted that she said that everything she had worked so hard to achieve was “stolen from her in an instant.”

Mr Justice McDermott said: “It was the most awful attack and she suffers the most awful consequences from that.”

The judge noted that “her sense of her own personal security and wellbeing” has been impacted.

Mr Justice McDermott said: “She was sleeping and he attacked her in the most savage and degrading way and attacked her in order to secure her submission. She feared for her life.”

He acknowledged that O’Sullivan had pleaded guilty and acknowledged that he had saved the woman the trauma of sitting through a trial but added that there had been “a very strong case” against him.

Mr Justice McDermott accepted that O’Sullivan had written a letter of remorse.

He set a headline sentence of 23 years before he imposed a sentence of 16 years.

He suspended the final year on strict conditions including that O’Sullivan address both his drug and alcohol addiction while in custody and continue with any treatment deemed appropriate by the Probation Service on his release from prison.

The judge noted that O’Sullivan is now a registered sex offender.
