COPS are appealing for witnesses to come forward following reports of arson at homes in Belfast.

Detectives from the PSNI are appealing for any information following reports of arson residential premises at the Summer Street area of North Belfast.

PSNI officers received the reports on Saturday, February 1 shortly after 9.30pm.

It was reported that an object had been thrown through the living room window of a property leading to a fire to start.

There was extensive damage done to the room following the incident.

The front windows of the property also saw damage done.

Detective Sergeant Faulkner said: “Shortly after 9:30pm, it was reported that an object was thrown through the living room of a property in the area causing a fire to start.

“Extensive damage was caused to the room following the incident, as well as the front windows of the property.”

It is understood that there was nobody inside the property during the incident.

PSNI officers also confirmed that the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service were also called to the scene.

Faulkner continued: “At this stage, it is not believed that anyone was inside the property, as colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service attended the fire.”

Cops are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire and are treating it as “deliberate”.

He added: “Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident but at this stage, the fire is being treated as deliberate ignition.

“Police are appealing to anyone with any information in relation to the incident, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 1585 01/02/25.

“Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.

“You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at http://crimestoppers-uk.org/.”

TOTTENHAM have announced the signing of centre-back Kevin Danso from RC Lens.

The 26-year-old joins Spurs on an initial loan deal, although the North Londoners possess an obligation to make it permanent in the summer for around £21million.

Danso joins goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky in moving to Tottenham this month, but had been close to signing for a Premier League rival.

The Austrian international had agreed a move to Wolves and was expected to undergo a medical at the Molineux club on Sunday.

But late last night they were informed that the deal was dramatically off, with Danso favouring a move to Spurs instead.

Ange Postecoglou’s side had been desperate to sign a defender before tomorrow’s deadline following several injury issues.

Micky van de Ven has just returned to fitness having previously only played once since October.

While Cristian Romero, barring a 15-minute cameo against Chelsea, has not featured since the November international break.

Radu Dragusin became the latest Spurs defender to suffer an injury during Thursday night’s 3-0 win over Elfsborg.

The Romanian is expected to miss the majority of the rest of the season with a knee issue.

Danso could be set for a mouthwatering Spurs debut[/caption]

Spurs chiefs initially tried to sign former Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan.

They agreed a deal with the Italian side, only for Tomori to insist on staying at the San Siro.

Spurs then moved on to Danso, hijacking Wolves’ deal for the impressive 6ft 3in centre-back.

Danso was previously part of MK Dons’ academy before moving to Augsburg aged 16.

He had a loan spell at Southampton while on the German club’s books, before moving to France with RC Lens.

Danso went on to be named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year for the 2022-23 season as his unfancied side finished just a point behind champions Paris Saint-Germain.

‘THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO IS SAY YES’

The defender has spoken of his delight in joining Spurs, telling their club media: “It feels amazing to be here at the club, I’ve always wanted to play for a big club in the Premier League and Tottenham Hotspur is exactly that.

“I think as soon as you hear Tottenham Hotspur is interested the only thing you can do is say yes. (It’s an) Amazing project to be part of and I’m happy to be here.

“I’m a quick, powerful centre-back, good on the ball, good in one-v-one defending situations, that’s what I thrive on and that’s what I love to do, defend.

Danso will not be able to play in this afternoon’s Prem clash at Brentford.

But provided his work permit arrives in time, as it is expected to do so, he could make his debut against Liverpool at Anfield in Thursday night’s huge Carabao Cup semi-final second leg.

Tottenham may not be done in this month’s transfer window.

It’s claimed that they could still look to add another defender, having spoken to Chelsea regarding a potential loan deal for Axel Disasi.

Meanwhile, Postecoglou and Co are still keen on signing a forward player, having been turned down by Bayern Munich teenager Mathys Tel on Friday.

Whether you’re planning on getting down on one knee or already have a job interview lined up for a potential new chapter in 2025, there’s specific days in the year that are best for these things. 

The luckiness of each day is related to planetary alignment.

“Some dates in 2025 will be the luckiest for love, and some are the luckiest for cash, whereas others are great for travel,” Inbaal explains. 

“There’s a lot of talk about Mercury retrograde and the problems it brings, but it’s not just Mercury that causes it. 

“Every planet goes through retrograde with some regularity. 

“Troubles and misfortune can befall us when planets go through retrograde.”

The days that have no planets in retrograde at all in 2025 are set to be the luckiest ones of the year. 

But what they’re particularly lucky for depends on the alignment of the planets on that specific day. 

Fabulous takes a look on the luckiest days of the upcoming year for certain life events…

The luckiest day to get married

This is February 28, according to Inbaal. 

“This date, during romantic Pisces season, when the Mercury planet of communication is also in Pisces, is a wonderful time for saying ‘I do’,” she explains. 

“The sign of Pisces is sensitive and believes in true love and commitment. 

“This day is during the new moon in Pisces, which is auspicious for new beginnings. 

“Saturn and Neptune, which are two other planets in the Solar System, are in Pisces too, making this date extremely effective for tying the knot.”

The luckiest day to buy a house

This is May 12 in 2025, so unfortunately after the stamp duty changes are in effect.

“This date, during home-loving Taurus season, when Mercury planet of communication is also in Taurus, is auspicious for striking down roots,” Inbaal says.

“The sign of Taurus is stable and secure and loves feeling safe in its own castle. 

“This day is on a full moon, which enhances good luck, and no major planets are in retrograde, so there are no unexpected obstacles. 

“Venus, the planet of the home is in the feisty sign of Aries on that day, so you might even negotiate a great bargain.”

The luckiest day to buy a lottery ticket

Get yourself to the supermarket kiosk on June 24 if you want to win the lottery. 

“Two of the luckiest bodies in the sky meet up for a chat on that date,” Inbaal explains. “Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, growth and expansion is in conjunction with the Sun, meaning they’re near each other. 

“The Sun’s influence on luck and positivity is self-evident. Its warm rays bestow fortune on whatever is nearest. 

“This conjunction is wonderful for good luck, and since both the Sun and Jupiter are in the home-loving sign of Cancer on that day, it means that this good fortune remains close to home.

“It is the perfect for a lottery ticket bought locally or online.”

The luckiest day to ask out your crush

You might think this one is Valentine’s Day on February 14, but it’s actually August 15, says Inbaal. 

“In order to ask out your crush, you need confidence and you need to be able to show off,” the astrologer explains. 

“Showing off is a specialty of Leo season, and on this day, Mercury planet of communication is in Leo, too. 

“It is a Friday, a day for Freya, the Goddess of love. 

“Venus, the planet of love, is in the sensitive sign of Cancer on that day, encouraging a romantic mindset.”

The luckiest day to propose

Again, you might think the best day for this is Valentine’s Day – but it’s actually August 23. 

“Venus, the planet of love, is in the sensitive sign of Cancer on that date, which means that the proposal, as well as the answer, will be given from the heart,” says Inbaal. 

“This date is the new moon in the sensible sign of Virgo. A new moon is a wonderful time for beginnings, and wise Virgo will help you make the right decision. 

“It is the first day of Virgo season, a time for organising, a great time to tidy up our lives. 

“On this day, Mercury’s planet of communication is going direct, so the proposal will be received positively, the way it was intended.”

The luckiest day to go for a job interview

If you’re looking for your dream job, schedule that interview around September 21. 

“The new moon in Virgo is an auspicious time to go for a new role,” Inbaal recommends. 

“Virgo is a sensible sign that can showcase its neat and organised persona. The New Moon is a great time for a fresh start. Venus, the planet of the home is also in Virgo on that day. 

“In addition, Mercury planet of communication and Mars planet of passion are in the balanced sign of Libra, which fosters the ability to get along with a wide spectrum of people. 

“Since this is a Sunday, and not many job interviews take place on that day, do your best to schedule your interview for the earliest available time slot on Monday, in order to ensure that you carry those energies forward.”

The luckiest day to ask for a promotion

The luckiest day for this is December 15, says Inbaal.

“This is the day that Mars, the planet of passion, has left fiery Sagittarius and journeyed into business-minded Capricorn,” the astrologer explains.

“On that day, multiple other planets are in Sagittarius, and it is still during Sagittarius season. 

“The sign of Sagittarius is linked with growth and expansion, so fits well with promotions. 

“The free-spirited nature of Sagittarius also helps you give off the impression that if you didn’t get the promotion, you could easily go elsewhere. 

“It’s a great time to ask for that promotion, but the positive answer won’t come back until January. 

“Set the meeting, explain your reasons, and let the powers that be go on their festive breaks, and come back to you with an offer once they’ve had a rest and a mince pie.”

Shemar Moore is an American actor best known for his role as Malcolm Winters on the soap The Young and the Restless, and as FBI Special Agent Derek Morgan on the TV series Criminal Minds.

But fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing as he sashayed into a set on a TikTok post for The Jennifer Hudson show.

One fan said: “Shemar Moore that’s Derek Morgan!”

Another added: “Shemar Moore, Derek Morgan or Hondo .. I’ll take him in ALL stages. This man aging like fine wine!!”

“The fact that he’s 54” quipped another.

“You mean 24? He don’t look 54 at all” added one fan.

One fan declared: “Ain’t no way he’s older than my mom.”

“54! You’re kidding, Bro does not age” stated another.

During the show, Shemar raved about how his daughter Frankie, 2, is a “miracle” who gave him “purpose.” reports People.

“[Frankie] is the reason I’m so damn happy. That’s my little baby girl. That’s my miracle. That’s little Frankie” he said.

He added: “That girl truly has given me purpose. She saved my life.”

He explained he was lost after his mother died because he missed her so much.

“I was in a place of so what, like what does it all mean and why am I doing this,

“And, then little Frankie came along and that’s what it’s all about right there.” he declared.

Shemar teased a potential return to Criminal Minds, the drama he left in 2016 in a previous interview.

Speaking to First For Women, the actor reflected on leaving shows like The Young and the Restless in September 2005 as well as Criminal Minds.

“In 30 years, the longest I’ve gone unemployed is four months — at whatever level, I stayed in the game, hustling,” he said.

“If The Young and the Restless called me today, I would go. If Criminal Minds asked me to come back, I’d go,” the actor added.

“Because you never forget where you came from. It sounds cliche and maybe cheesy, but it’s also true.”

Shemar also plays the hard-hitting Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson in hit tv series S.W.A.T.

The series ran for seven seasons and he is currently filming the eighth.

When asked about the success of his hit show, the TV star was quick to share credit.

He praised his “talented cast members” and the show’s production crew for making it all come together.”

MANCHESTER UNITED have confirmed the signing of Patrick Dorgu.

Ruben Amorim was desperate to add a left-back to his squad before the January transfer window closed.

And he has got his man in the shape of the versatile Lecce man.

Dorgu, 20, arrives at Old Trafford in on a five-and-a-half-year deal with the option of an extra year, for a fee thought to be worth £29million.

After putting pen to paper he said: “I am incredibly proud to be able to call myself a Manchester United player; this is a very special day for my whole family.

“I cannot wait to work with Ruben Amorim; his vision for this team and the future of the club is incredibly exciting.

“There is a clear plan set out for my development, and I feel that Manchester United is the perfect place to fulfil my potential and complete my huge ambitions.”

He said his goodbyes to his Lecce team-mates after their clash with Parma on Friday night, when he was an unused sub.

Then the defender – who will slot in as a wing-back in Amorim’s 3-4-3 system – was spotted at Milan airport on Saturday morning ahead of a flight to Manchester and his medical with the Red Devils.

An agreement was reached on the fee earlier in the week before personal terms and the final checks were all done.

It comes as a welcome boost for United who have been without injured Luke Shaw while Tyrell Malacia and Noussair Mazraoui have struggled to hit the heights expected.

And now the Dorgu deal is done, Malacia looks on course to leave for Benfica on loan.

Dorgu joined Lecce in 2022 and made his senior debut at the beginning of last season.

He has racked up 57 appearances for the Serie A club, chipping in with five goals, too.

The 6ft 2ins star – who can play at left-back, wing-back or even as a winger – also has four caps and one goal for Denmark having come through all the youth teams from Under-18s.

However, his former manager urged the rising star to SNUB a move to United.

Jens Fonnskov Olsen managed Dorgu when he was part of Denmark‘s U19s setup.

And speaking before the deal was done, he told Tipsbladet: “If I have to be a little cheeky, I hope he chooses something other than Manchester United right now.

“I don’t know if it’s a bad fit, but they’re just in a period where… I don’t know if you can afford to say no to United, but maybe somewhere where there’s a little more structure and where things fit in with his pace.

“Sometimes things have to go in the right order, if you can say it like that.

“The thing is that there are many paths to the goal.”

On what Red Devils fans can expect from Dorgu as a player, though, Olsen added: “Patrick is fast, he is forward-thinking, he can head both offensively and defensively, and he has a very, very good left foot.

“He has been really well-educated [at Lecce], especially in the defensive part of the game, where he may have lacked something.

“He is a creative player. I am incredibly happy that I brought him in and just believed in him.

“I am really happy for him, in terms of how his career has developed.”

He follows Ayden Heaven into Old Trafford as Amorim’s first signings in charge.

The exciting 18-year-old centre-back rejected a pro contract at Arsenal to sign for the Red Devils on a contract until 2029.

Heaven said: “I am incredibly proud to join Manchester United.

“I’m grateful to everyone who helped make this dream a reality.

“There is so much that I want to achieve in the game, I’ll be giving everything to continue my development and become the best player that I can be.”
