MRS Brown never looked so sexy as she did tonight on the dancefloor on Dancing With The Stars.
The sitcom’s creator Brendan O’Carroll was watching from his home in Florida as Salome Chachua – pro partner of his son Danny – raised her legs higher in the air than ever seen in the hit BBC comedy.

The routine was part of Dedication Night, as Danny paid tribute to his dad with a cha-cha to She’s a Lady by Tom Jones from Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie.
Judge Karen Byrne told the pair: “Mrs Brown never looked so sexy! You could have gone down the full comedy route and you didn’t. The cha-cha itself had loads of content in it.”
Judge Loraine Barry said: “We have never seen Mrs Brown moving like that. You busted your gut out there to get the action. It was so entertaining. Well done!”
Danny and Salome scored a total of 31 points.
But it was Olympian Taekwondo athlete Jack Woolley who topped the scoreboard with 38 points and won top prize immunity in next week’s show dancing an American smooth to Grace by The Wolfe Tones.
Jack dedicated the dance to his pal, double gold medal-winning boxer Kellie Harrington, who was in the audience supporting him tonight.
Karen said: “You were like a feather, floating effortlessly around the room.”
Close behind Jack, in second place, was fellow Olympian Rhys McClenaghan with 33 points, who danced a jive in honour of his coach Luke Carson.
Luke guided Rhys to achieve his lifelong dream of winning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics last year.
Judge Arthur Gourounlian said: “You sprinkled a little bit of gold dust on the dancefloor.”
Meteorologist Joanna Donnelly danced a tango to Dreams by The Cranberries, having spoken openly about her struggles with fertility and her IVF journey in the past.
Her dance was dedicated to couples who struggled to afford IVF treatment.
Arthur said: “It truly touched me. I can relate to your story.”

Joanna scored 24 points.
Kin actress Yasmin Seky scored 29 points with a rumba and dedicated her dance to her youth club workers, Mary, Phil and Gary, who she said were the driving force behind her taking up a career in performing.
Loraine Barry said: “From one Cabra girl to another, well done.”
TV chef Kevin Dundon scored 22 points with a tango dedicated to his wife Catherine, dancing to the same song, David Bowie’s Let’s Dance.
Brian said: “I bet you never danced like that in clubs back in the 80s! Well done!”
‘BEAUTIFUL LIGHTNESS’
Former Miss Universe Ireland, Aishah Akorede spoke for the first time about the health condition, sickle cell disease, she has been battling through her life and paid tribute to her mum Kemi, who has been the biggest influence on her life.
Brian said: “You created a beautiful lightness.” Aishah scored 31 points.

SERIES ONE – 2017: Former Kerry footballer Aidan O’Mahony beat the odds to be crowned Ireland’s first-ever Dancing With The Stars champion alongside pro partner Valeria Milova, beating out former Fair City star Aoibhin Garrihy and Red Rock actress Denise McCormack.
SERIES TWO – 2018: Singer Jake Carter – the younger brother of country crooner Nathan – was just 19 when he nabbed the Glitterball in 2018 with pro dancer Karen Byrne. And the dance partnership later blossomed into love for the popular pair, who confirmed they were dating months after their big win.
SERIES THREE – 2019: Popular presenter Mairead Ronan became the first female winner, landing the Glitterball with Kilkenny dancer John Nolan in 2019. The mum-of-three said her victory was proof “you can do anything you put your mind to”.
SERIES FOUR – 2020: The 2020 series finale was brought forward due to the outbreak of Covid-19, with 2FM star Lottie Ryan left in tears at clinching the trophy with pro partner Pasquale La Rocca.
SERIES FIVE – 2022: Returning to screens in 2022 after a year off in 2021 due to the continuing coronavirus crisis, ex-jockey Nina Carberry became the third woman on the trot to win the Glitterball, marking a second title for pro Pasquale.
SERIES SIX – 2023: RTE 2FM star Carl Mullan was left stunned back in 2023 when he lifted the Glitterball with pro Emily Barker. The underdog came out on top against fellow finalists Brooke Scullion, Suzanne Jackson and Damien McGinty.
SERIES SEVEN – 2024: Paralympian Jason Smyth came out on top as the 2024 series winner, with pro Karen Byrne becoming the second dancer to win the DWTS title twice. The legally blind athlete moved viewers to tears with an emotional showdance to secure the title.
Comedian Gearoid Farrelly danced a paso doble to Holding Out For a Hero by Bonnie Tyler in honour of his own heroes, his parents, Eamon and Deirdre.
Loraine said: “I really loved it. It really is amazing.”
Gearoid got 28 points.
Social media star Kayleigh Trappe landed 29 points and dedicated her dance to her four-year-old niece, Fiadh.
Loraine said: “You are the brave one tonight.”
