Love Island chaos as explosive row over recoupling picks sees couple ripped apart – and TWO stars banished to day beds

IT’S about to kick off in the All Stars villa as one couple is ripped apart in tonight’s shock recoupling.

Last night bombshells Samie Elishi and Chuggs Wallis caused a major stir as they cracked on with getting to know the Islanders.

At the end of the episode, it was revealed that the public had the power to pick who couples up with Samie and Chuggs.

But the repercussions of the results is set to leave the villa in chaos – and forces two Islanders to sleep on the day beds.

The Sun has chosen not to reveal the details and spoil it for our readers.

But a source told us: “The villa is ripped apart tonight when the islanders find out the public have secretly been voting – and have caused chaos.

“The result send shockwaves through everyone and one couple in particular are devastated about being broken up.

“Things get very tense and the pair decide to sleep outside.

“They are too angry and upset to be in the room with everyone.”

Bombshell energy

Former estate agent Samie wore a sexy LBD with a thigh high split as she strided towards the Firepit during last night’s explosive episode.

We previously reported Samie’s pledge to steal Luca before she even stepped foot inside the South Africa compound.

After strolling to meet the singletons at the Firepit, Samie pulled former fish seller Luca Bish, 25, for a chat.

The pair talked about DM’ing one another outside the Villa.

Not pulling any punches, Samie told him: “I fancy you, I think you’re good looking.”

He then replied: “I think you’re good looking.”

Samie followed up and said: “So you fancy me?” to which Luca added: “Erm I think you’re good looking…”

Persisting with the flirting, Samie replied “What, are you scared of the word fancy?”

Luca’s show partner Grace later found out about Samie and Luca’s DM’s from Elma.

Things get more troubling for the Brighton-based lad as the night rolled on during a game of spin the bottle.

Later Luca ended up with a card daring him to “snog the Islander, other than your partner who is your vibe”.

But instead of kissing Catherine, as Grace had asked, he went for new bombshell Samie.

This did not go down well with Grace and she was left fuming after they locked lips.

Raging, the blonde beauty was soon heard whispering to Luca to “shut the f**k up”, and called him “disrespectful”.

However, her reaction annoyed Luca and he was seen storming off.

Elsewhere, Chuggs was busy getting to know Tina and Danielle.

He admitted he had two girls on his radar and was enjoying getting to know both of them.

Tina admitted she was thrilled with the prospect of a new lad in the villa and said they had a lot in common.

While Danielle was also pleased with Chuggs and bounced off each other during their chats.

Olivia Attwood reveals how she really found out hubby Brad was a cheat – and the reaction that totally changed her life

OLIVIA Attwood has revealed the real reason she went on Love Island in the first place and how she caught her now-husband cheating.

The Love Island star and footballer Bradley Dack first met through mutual friends at a nightclub back in 2015 and began seeing each other shortly after.

The pair are now happily married but it hasn’t always been easy[/caption]

But now Olivia has revealed why they split up and how it changed her life, from becoming one of the most popular Love Island contestants to a documentary maker for ITV.

Speaking on the Newlyweds podcast with Sophie and Jamie Laing, the couple who are now married lifted the lid on their once turbulent relationship.

Bradley, now 31, admitted he was the first to say ‘I love you’ when the pair first began dating but the romance was short-lived.

Shortly after, Olivia who had applied to be on Love Island got a call from the producers inviting her onto the show.

Olivia, 33, decided to turn it down as she was now in a relationship with Bradley.

But what happened next changed the course of her life forever.

“The weirdest thing is how this played out, it’s like fate,” said Olivia. “So they ring me for (Love Island) series 3 I’m dating him so I’m like I just don’t think I can honestly say like I’m single to do this and I actually really liked you so I just wasn’t that motivated to pare it off to go on a TV show.”

Two days later, she was in Germany while Bradley was on a golfing holiday when she received an anonymous phone call.

She said: “I never used to answer private numbers, but sometimes you get this feeling that the universe is like ‘pick it up.'”

“I picked it up and it was a girl and she’s like ‘hello’ and I was like ‘Hello who is this’ and she was like ‘Well I’m Brad’s girlfriend’ and I was like ‘that’s so weird because I’m Brad’s girlfriend.'”

The two split when Olivia found out about his affair but rekindled their love

Olivia tried to call Bradley, who was on holiday with the boys, but couldn’t get through as his phone had died; however, she says it was the best thing that could have happened.

The next day, when Olivia headed to the gym she decided to call back the producers of Love Island and said she could be on the show.

“Him not being able to answer was almost better because then basically it was like a scene from some kind of weird movie,” Olivia explained.

“I was raging, woke up the next morning, I was in the gym and I called back the Love Island producer and I said this is going to sound really weird cuz I told you five days ago I’m in a relationship but now I’m not and I want to come on.

“I just thought, what am I doing? I actually turned down Series 2, more for a boy who it fell through with, and then I was about to do it again. I thought the universe was telling me to just do something for myself.”

Olivia kept it from Bradley until the day before she was leaving for the villa, and Brad claims at this point he knew he was in love.

“Oh you f***ed that up didn’t you?” joked Olivia.

Bradley revealed that he was doing everything to repair the relationship but overheard Olivia on the phone discussing her TV appearance.

And despite the fact the two are now married, Olivia has no regrets about ditching him after the affair and going on the show.

She said: “As much as I liked him I was like this is done because there is no way I can trust him again or come back from this.”

“I didn’t actually want to go and I didn’t want to end it but my intelligent brain was like you have to cuz what are you staying for and I actually think if I had stayed, we wouldn’t be together now.”

But it seems everything worked out for them; the pair met up and rekindled their relationship in 2018 after appearing on the show.

Olivia decided she needed commitment from Bradley if they were going to give it another shot, and the pair quickly got engaged to prove he wasn’t messing about this time.

Now the couple have been married for over a year, having wed at the luxury five-star Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge in 2023.

Olivia Attwood's Career History

From Monster grid girl and Love Island star to daytime telly panellist and respected documentary maker, Olivia Attwood has made a huge career pivot in recent years...

Later that year, she appeared on Celebs Go Dating and then joined the cast of The Only Way Is Essex in 2019, where she had a number of fiery on-screen rows.

In 2020, the reality TV veteran began starring in her own reality series on ITVBe titled Olivia Meets Her Match, which followed her wedding preparations with footballer Bradley Dack.

In 2021, the tide started to turn.

Brassic actor Damien Molony, 40, will step into the title role of Jim Bergerac for the forthcoming drama.

At the start of the series, Jim is a broken man grappling with his personal demons.

Following the recent death of his wife, he will struggle with grief and also alcoholism.

He was also known for high-profile roles in the BBC legal drama, The Split, and the sitcom Crashing, written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The reboot is based on the original mystery drama which famously starred John Nettles.

It first made its debut on BBC One in 1981 and it ran on the channel for nine series until 1991.

Now the show has been re-imagined with a contemporary twist, although bosses have promised that the new series will honour the beloved original.

Meanwhile, Black Ops actress Zoe Wanamaker will star as Jim’s mother-in-law, Charlie Hungerford, in a change from the original show.

She will be concerned that Jim is not putting his daughter Kim first following the death of her daughter.

She will star alongside Life On Mars’ Philip Glenister who will play Arthur Wakefield.

Other names to make up the star-studded cast include Killing Eve actor Robert Gilbert, Pippa Haywood from Bodyguard, and Casualty actress Sasha Behar.

UKTV has announced that the series will be available to stream in full from Thursday 27th February on its streaming service, U.

Episodes will air on its linear U&Drama channel every week on the same night.

Instead of a new storyline for each episode, the series will focus on one singular character-led murder mystery.

The story will run across all the six new episodes, which are one hour in length.

When a woman from a prominent family from Jersey is murdered, the detective might fight his demons to become the formidable detective he once used to be.

He will be forced to use his sharp instincts and lessons from previous cases when a convict from his past resurfaces.

But as he navigates the intricate family dynamics combined with the overseeing eye of the police force, will he be able to solve the mystery?

Speaking about the role, Damien exclaimed: “I’m incredibly excited to be stepping into the role of Jim Bergerac.

“John Nettles has left an incredible legacy with big shoes to fill, and I hope I can bring a fresh new take on this iconic character.”

He added: “I can’t wait for audiences to join me on this journey.”

Mikel Arteta reveals wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri BANNED from getting ready in same changing room as Arsenal team-mates

ETHAN NWANERI has to use a separate changing room from the rest of the Arsenal squad – because he’s too young.

The 17-year-old is enjoying a breakthrough year at the Emirates after coming through the Gunners’ Academy.

Nwaneri has scored in back-to-back games, including off the bench in the 5-1 mauling of Manchester City last weekend.

But the teenager isn’t allowed to mix with his teammates in the first-team changing room – due to strict safeguarding rules.

Arteta said: “Ethan cannot be in our dressing room still, which is unbelievable.

“He needs to get dressed somewhere else, even on match day.”

Premier League safeguarding rules mean players must be 18 or older to share a dressing room with the senior squad.

Arteta has highlighted Nwaneri’s friendship with Myles Lewis-Skelly, 18, as a key driver behind the teenager’s success.

The pair are both graduates of the Arsenal academy and are inseparable off the field.

Arteta continued: “When you see those two [Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri] walking next to each other, talking to each other, there is a bond there and a chemistry there.

“I imagine for them it is special because at the moment they are still in different dressing rooms.

‘So to have somebody close to him that has that trust, that confidence, that link, I think it is lucky.

“They are very lucky to have each other.”

Nwaneri created history in 2022 by becoming the youngest player to make his debut in the Premier League.

Both Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri were nurtured by development coach Dan Micciche.

The former England Under-16s boss has previously worked with Cole Palmer, Phil Foden and Jadon Sancho,

Micciche told SunSport: “Those two are technically outstanding.

[Arteta] had them over [with the first team] since a very young age. He knew about them when they were 14.

“First of all, it was their focus to play football.

Arsenal player ratings vs Man City

ARSENAL stunned Man City 5-1 at the Emirates on Sunday evening.

It was an incredible result against their rivals of recent years.

Here, we take a look at how the Gunners rated…

David Raya – 7/10
Had very little to do in the first half but made a brilliant save in the 22nd minute to deny a goalbound header from Josko Gvardiol. Made another stunning save two minutes from the half-time interval, stopping a deflected Savinho shot from close range. Powerless to stop Erling Haaland’s 55th-minute header from briefly levelling the scores.

Jurrien Timber – 6
Didn’t offer his usual attacking threat going forward but was solid defensively. Picked up a pointless yellow breaking up a harmless counter-attack in the 24th minute. Almost scored late in the second half.

William Saliba – 5
Didn’t have much to do in the first half but won all his aerial battles in the first 45 minutes. Marshalled the defence well early in the second period but was embarrassingly outjumped and outmuscled by Haaland for City’s equaliser – a major flaw of his that continues to be exposed.

Gabriel Magalhaes – 6
Like his defensive partner, he was seldom called into action in the first half. Dominant in the air in his battles with Haaland, who he trolled after Odegaard’s goal.

Myles Lewis-Skelly – 8
Continues to endear himself to the Emirates faithful with composure and tenacity beyond his years as he brilliantly floated between left back and midfield. Put real daylight between the two sides with a thumping finish just after the hour mark. This young lad is a real bright prospect for both the Gunners and England.
His trolling of Haaland by copying the Norwegian’s ‘Lotus’ celebration went down a storm with fans.

Thomas Partey – 7
Steady in the heart of midfield and broke up play well when required. Fired the Gunners back into the lead in the 57th minute with a deflected shot from outside the box.

Martin Odegaard – 7
Was in the right place at the right time to benefit from the aftermath of an uncharacteristic Manuel Akanji error and break the deadlock. Was at the heart of everything good the north Londoners did going forward.

Declan Rice – 6
Combative, as always, in the middle of the park and played a role in the home side taking the lead, teeing up Havertz who squared the ball to Odegaard.

Leandro Trossard – 6
Was particularly lively on the left in the first half, giving Matheus Nunes a real run for his money. His end product, however, wasn’t the best.

Gabriel Martinelli – 6
Lively on the right wing in the early goings. Found the back of the net in the fifth minute after some beautiful play from Odegaard but was needlessly offside. Forced a good save out of Ortega with a rasping effort in the 68th minute.

Kai Havertz – 6
Lively early doors, testing Stefan Ortega with a tame shot in the first minute. Teed up Odegaard for a tap in a few moments later. Missed a golden opportunity to double the lead in the 25th minute, dragging the ball wide with the goal at his absolute mercy. Made amends for his howler by finishing an even harder chance in the 76th minute. He well and truly needed that as he looked absolutely devoid of confidence.

SUBS

Ethan Nwaneri – 83 (on for Trossard) – 7
Put the cherry on top of the cake with an outrageous effort in second-half stoppage time.

Mikel Merino – 83 (on for Odegaard) – 5

Raheem Sterling – 89 (on for Kai Havertz ) – N/A

Riccardo Calafiori 89 (on for Lewis-Skelly) – N/A

“They’re great lads but when it is time to train and play they were always 100 per cent focused and committed to what they are doing.

“There was never at any time an issue of them lacking focus or that willingness to improve, their mentality was incredible, although they ticked all the boxes.

“Technically outstanding, physically they were efficient movers, their football athleticism was good.

“They delivered when it counts. They won a lot of youth tournaments together, when it came to semi-finals and finals they would deliver that.

“They would score goals, they would create goals, they would dominate games. That’s what the best players do, they deliver in big moments and that’s what they did.”

Closed tourist attraction bought by ex-Dragon’s Den star… and could even reopen as a rooftop bar

A TOURIST attraction right on the beach that was forced to close last year has been bought by a trendy bar chain.

Brighton’s i360 first opened back in 2016, although ran into a number of financial problems along the way.

It was forced to closed in November 2024, leaving a debt of £51million.

However, despite fears of the tower being torn down, it has since been bought out by Nightcap, which has more than 40 venues around the UK.

This includes trendy bars such as Tonight Josephine, Blame Gloria and The Cocktail Club.

Nightcap is owned by Former Dragon’s Den star Sarah Willingham who is a Brighton local.

She said in a social media post that they “couldn’t be happier” with plans to reopen it.

She added: “We look forward to working with them to make the West Pier part of Brighton a thriving hub for residents and visitors alike.

“We pass the i360 every day and were as disappointed as everyone else when it went into administration and no buyer was found.

“We hope we will get the support of our tight knit local community as we embark on this new chapter for the i360.”

While it hasn’t been confirmed what it will reopen as, many of the venues as part of Nightcap are some of the most unique in the UK.

For example, Tonight Josephine calls itself a “sassy cocktail bar” with neon lights and mirrors.

And Blame Gloria is said to be inspired by “an opulent nana with a groupie past”.

Even with the more standard bars of the group such as Piano Works, it is likely to mean that the tower will be turned into some form of entertainment venue.

It isn’t clear on when it will be able to reopen.

The tower, initially called the British Airways i360, cost £46million to build.

The 531ft observation tower – created by the team behind London Eye – became the Brighton i360 when the BA deal ended.

However, despite hopes for as many as 739,000 tourists a year, it failed to hit these numbers.

Brighton and Hove City Council have since wrote off the huge £51million debt last month to allow sales to go forward.

The buyout has also been backed by local MPs, including Peter Kyle, MP for Hove and Portslade.

He said: “Looking to the future I now see a fantastic seafront in our city.

“It is book-ended by the amazing Sea Lanes in Kemptown and the new Hove Beach Park and now at its centre will be this.”

A small group of locals even created a petition to turn it into a Wetherspoons, although this only got around 650 signatures.

In the mean time, here is the nearby beach to Brighton that is set to double in size.
