SAM PRENDERGAST reckons his rivalry with Jack Crowley is ‘healthy’.

Leinster out-half Prendergast started at No  10 in Ireland’s Six Nations win over England at No 10 on Saturday, with Munster’s Crowley on the bench.

But Prendergast said: “I think it’s quite healthy competition. Jack is a great lad and player. I’ve seen how well he’s played.”

Fans have likened the battle for the Ireland No  10 jersey to Ronan O’Gara’s fight with Johnny Sexton in the 2010s.

But Prendergast insists there are no issues between him and Crowley.

The Leinster hotshot explained: “I think we both work together, as much as people want to think we hate each other. We just work together.

“He’s playing very well and played very well when he came on against England.”

Prendergast started and had some good moments, including a mammoth kick to give Ireland the lead.

However, he missed two conversions. Crowley was introduced and added the extras twice as Ireland’s replacements finished off the game.

But interim head coach Simon Easterby praised Prendergast for his Six Nations debut display.

Easterby said: “He did a lot of really good things out there and there are things he’ll feel he can improve on.”

GRAMMY viewers were left stunned after a 2018 Love Island star rocked up on the Red Carpet.

Espresso singer Sabrina pulled out all the stops to showcase four breathtaking looks as she scooped the award for Best Pop Album.

And Grammys fans were left branding Charli XCX’s X-Rated performance as “the best in the show’s history” – but what they didn’t expect was a reality TV star to be in the midst of the A-List bunch.

Eyal Booker, who entered the Love Island villa five years ago, was spotted posing up a storm before he entered the Grammy’s ceremony.

The model, who coupled up with Megan Barton Hanson during his series before being dumped on Day 25, was seen as he posed next to hoardings raising money for the LA wildfires.

The Londoner, 29, who trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, donned a chic black blazer emblazoned with patterned detail on the lapels.

He paired it with matching suit trousers and black shoes, along with a white shirt and black tie.

The catwalk star looked effortless as he struck a series of looks for the camera before heading inside.

On his Instagram Stories, Eyal re-posted one snap and wrote: “Grateful to be here.

“Thank you for having me.”

Eyal then uploaded a snap showing Stevie Wonder performing at the event.

One fan took to X to note their surprise and wrote: “What on earth is Eyal Booker doing at The Grammys?”

Yet another supportive Instagram follower put: “Have the best time!!”

One then added: “You literally look sooooooo handsome.”

In a lengthy caption Eyal wrote: “What a beautiful, inspiring night watching the music community come together to not only support and lift each other up but also support LA, the communities that lost everything and raise an incredible amount of money to give back to those in need.”

He then admitted he was: “Truly inspired by tonight.

“Don’t let others put you in a box.”

Continuing his inspirational message, he added: “Work hard, stay focussed and kind.

“Go do, be and achieve all that you want. The sky is the limit and you can do it.

“PS I got to watch Stevie Wonder perform We Are The World.

“A truly remarkable night and I may be biased but I think it was the best Grammys to date.

“Thank you for having me.”

Eyal is no stranger to the Hollywood lifestyle, after having previously dated model Delilah Belle Hamlin, daughter of Harry Hamlin.

WILDFIRE HORROR

Eyal was addressing the terrifying wildfires that broke out through Los Angeles County last month, devastating lives and homes and areas in their wake.

TENNIS star Cristian Garin refused to play and demanded a disqualification after his opponent charged into him.

The shocking incident occurred during the deciding set of a crucial Davis Cup tie between Chile and Belgium.

Garin’s opponent Zizou Bergs had just broken serve to go 6-5 up when he jumped and sprinted over to his team in celebration.

But he could not slow down in time as the Chilean also came around the net to change ends.

Bergs ended up smashing into Garin and his shoulder bashed his eye.

The 2022 Wimbledon quarter-finalist dropped the floor and Belgium’s noisy fans suddenly fell silent.

Chile demanded that Bergs was disqualified from the match and they furiously argued with the umpire.

But the officials decided not to default him and they were therefore forced to slap Garin with a game penalty for refusing to play.

It meant a win for Belgium in the match and the overall tie 3-1.

Garin later took to social media to show off his inflamed eye and Chile’s doctor claimed the star was not fit to play due to dizziness and difficulties seeing.

The independent doctor claimed he was fine to play, which is why they handed him a punishment.

Former world No17 Garin claimed in his press conference: “They wanted to finish that match at any cost.”

Chile captain Nicolas Massu raged: “One hour-and-a-half later we still didn’t receive any apology from anyone. Not a single person asked if Cristian is okay.”

Garin continued his fury on Instagram, writing: “I still can’t believe they got us DISQUALIFIED.

“That the general referee forced me to play with dizziness and unable to see well after 2h40 min playing at high intensity.

“Years loving this sport watching millions of matches and I never saw, nor thought about living something like this.

“So sad after all the week’s effort and all the team work.

“Thanks to ITF for ZERO CONCERN FOR MY HEALTH. Thanks to all Chile. Hard moment but we keep going.”

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova shared her thoughts, saying: “I am sorry – that should be a default. Out of control. Mind you the screaming is not great either.”

Fans joked: “Tennis has become the UFC.”
