Shock new Towie romance revealed as surprising couple snog in Bali

TOWIE Series 35 is set to heat up in the Indonesian sun as tongues are about to be wagging about a very surprising holiday romance.

We can reveal how a pair of ITVBe fan-favourites shared a kiss at Savaya Nightclub in Bali after the cast jetted off to the holiday hotspot.

Harry Derbidge and Freddie Bentley enjoyed a sweet night out the evening before their snog.

Away from the filming cameras, the pair looked completely relaxed as they enjoyed some time at Atomic Beach Bar with each other.

Other cast members will no doubt be in shock with this news, especially Harry’s ex Joe Blackman and his new love interest Junaid.

Harry and Joe’s split dominated TOWIE’s previous season – sparking the biggest feud of the season when Joe went off with their mutual pal.

At the time, we reported how bosses had to take emergency measures due to the explosive nature of the plotline.

Harry was left in tears when Joe told him the pair were sleeping together.

Harry’s furious cousin, Amy Childs, was then seen confronting Junaid and Joe in fiery scenes.

Junaid and Joe were seen looking loved up on an outing in October yet the pair split just two months after, with Junaid exclusively telling The Sun how Joe had been unfaithful.

Yet the drama will no doubt continue as the aftermath of Harry’s kiss unfolds.

Previously, we reported how the TOWIE cast had glammed up for filming in Bali.

Female cast members stripped to a series of stylish bikinis – yet had to halt their scenes after heavy rainfall.

Yet The Sun was first to report how two key cast members had snubbed the “most luxurious trip ever” – this being Lauren Goodger and mum of four Amy.

Meanwhile, Roman Hackett was also seen heading out but was not joined by his Love Island star girlfriend Matilda Draper after The Sun revealed she didn’t get her visa in time.

HAPPY CHAPTER

Yet we also reported how TOWIE is set to air two fresh series in 2025 as the future of the long-running show was confirmed.

TOWIE STARS SPIN OFF

WITH the announcement TOWIE will return in 2025 for two new series, it's good news for some former ITVBE stars, too

TWO of the show’s best loved former stars will celebrate their own big life moments with a spin off series featuring Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou.

Their new show title is currently unconfirmed.

The pair, who first met and found love on TOWIE back in 2014, finally say ‘I Do’ in a three part special produced by Objective Entertainment.

The show will follow on from the success of their Baby Steps series.

It comes after the Essex-based programme has dominated screens for a whopping 15 years.

It comes after the TOWIE action has been streamed an impressive 45million times on ITVX during the past 12 months.

TOWIE loyals will also appreciate a spin off series featuring show OGs Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou, with a transmission name yet to be confirmed.

The pair – who share two kids – first met and found love on TOWIE back in 2014 will finally say I Do in a three part special produced by Objective Entertainment.

This follows on from the success of their Baby Steps series.

Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning and Acquisitions at ITV, said “We are delighted to be celebrating two of our longest running reality franchises as they enter exciting milestone years, whilst also expanding both series, following the ever popular Tommy and Georgia as they embark upon new chapters.”

Championship League snooker Winners’ Group 2025: Schedule, results, TV channel, how to live stream FREE

SNOOKER’S top stars have returned from Germany and head straight into the Championship League Winners’ Group.

The non-ranking tournament is continuing this week after a thrilling week of action in Berlin, where Kyren Wilson beat Barry Hawkins in a final-frame decider.

Wilson is among those back in action in Leicester, where he is joined by fellow former world champions Judd Trump and Mark Selby in a tricky snooker group stage ahead of a final four on Wednesday evening.

Here’s everything you need to know for the tournament.

When is the Championship League snooker 2025?

The Championship League groups took place from January 2 to January 25.

There are seven groups then a Winners’ Group – more on the format below.

The dates are as follows:

  • January 3-4 – Group 1
  • January 6-11 – Groups 2, 3 and 4
  • January 20-25 – Groups 5, 6 and 7.
  • February 4-5 – Winners’ Group and play-offs

Who is playing in the Championship League snooker 2025 and what is the format?

All the big hitters were slated to play, although Ronnie O’Sullivan withdrew from the non-ranking event in early January.

  • Group 1 (Jan 3-4) – Chris Wakelin, Gary Wilson, Jak Jones, Hossein Vafaie, Pang Junxu, Ryan Day, Elliot Slessor
  • Group 2 (Jan 6-7) – Ali Carter, Si Jiahui, Robert Milkins
  • Group 3 (Jan 8-9) – Ronnie O’Sullivan, Kyren Wilson, Mark Selby
  • Group 4 (Jan 10-11) – Barry Hawkins, Stuart Bingham, Jackson Page
  • Group 5 (Jan 20-21) – Judd Trump, Tom Ford, Neil Robertson
  • Group 6 (Jan 22-23) – David Gilbert, Jack Lisowski, Noppon Saengkham
  • Group 7 (Jan 24-25) – Xiao Guodong, Zhou Yuelong, Matthew Selt
  • WINNERS’ GROUP (Feb 4-5) – Hossein Vafaei, Si Jiahui, Kyren Wilson, Mark Selby, Matthew Selt, Judd Trump, Xiao Guodong

The Championship league is a round robin of eight groups of seven players.

The top four from each group qualify for a play-off with the overall winner going straight into the Winners’ Group.

The bottom two are eliminated totally from the competition, while the other four move into the next group, where they are joined by three more players.

This format continues through all seven groups until the Winners’ Group is filled.

The players are ranked by matches won, then most frames won, then least frames lost – if two players are tied, the player who won the head-to-head match finishes higher.

The play-off semi-finals are played between 1st and 4th and 2nd and 3rd, with the two winners meeting and then playing for a place in the Winners’ Group.

The overall winner secures a place in the 2025 Champion of Champions and earns a modest amount of prize money.

What TV channel is the Championship League 2025 on and can it be live streamed?

There will be no TV coverage in the UK but fans can stream all the action live on Matchroom Sport’s YouTube.

Table one will be on Matchroom Multi Sport and table two is on the Matchroom Pool channel.

Both of those are free to stream.

Alternatively, SunSport will blog the entire Winners’ Group and play-offs over the next couple of days.

Trump vs Wilson

SNOOKER's Class of '92 are fading away - with two English superstars ready to forge a new era.

Judd Trump has declared he’s ready to battle reigning world champion Kyren Wilson for “the next 10 years” or more.

Current world No 1 Trump admitted Wilson’s meteoric rise over the last twelve months has “pushed him forward” as a player.

The Class of ’92 refers to the legendary trio of Ronnie O’Sullivan, John Higgins, and Mark Williamson.

With 14 world titles among them, the three players have dominated UK snooker over the past three decades.

But as their powers begin to fade, Wilson and Trump appear ready to fill the rivalry vacuum.

Iconic former Champions League star, 37, now a CHICKEN FARMER and even has zoo with ferrets and turtles

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE icon Marek Hamsik now runs a chicken farm and a zoo.

The Napoli legend made 520 appearances for the club with his distinctive mohawk haircut.

But since hanging up his boots a year-and-a-half ago following a spell at Turkish side Trabzonspor, Hamsik balances being Slovakia‘s assistant manager and his love for farming.

Alongside his wife Martina and their three kids, the 37-year-old looks after chickens and has small zoo with ferrets and turtles in his homeland.

Hamsik told Sport24: “It’s a relatively new hobby of ours. It all started in April last year during Easter, when we ordered hatching eggs, from which we later hatched little chicks.

“During that time, we managed to set up and equip the chicken coop.

“The coop is custom-made. It is more like a hotel for chickens with built-in heating and ventilation, but also automatic doors that open in the morning so that we don’t have to get up and check on them.

“It is truly luxurious and the chickens are perhaps even better cared for than we are.

“To date, we have 29 of them, and they lay around two dozen eggs a day.

“We have a lot of them and I’m already thinking about opening a store as I take care of the chicken coop with pleasure.”

Hamsik admitted it was his wife’s idea to start the farm and they now have eggs for breakfast everyday.

On their animal kingdom, the former midfielder revealed: “Yes, it was her idea. She is a big animal lover in general, which she passed on to the whole family.

“If we could, we would have an animal shelter or a small zoo at home.

“Although we actually already have one, since we keep three dogs, a cat, the chickens, two turtles, six guinea pigs and two ferrets.

“We also had two roosters that hatched with us and we raised them ourselves, but since they are the same blood as the chickens, they couldn’t stay with us.”

Away from the animals, Hamsik opened a winery with his dad Richard and he boasts an impressive car collection that includes a Mustang and a Ferrari.

Boy, 5, died when ‘large mirror fell on him in department store while he looked at reflection’

A YOUNG boy died when a large mirror fell on him in a department store while he looked at his reflection, an inquest heard.

Freddie Farrow appeared to touch the mirror using “very little force” when it toppled over at the Fenwick store in Colchester, Essex.

The youngster was in Fenwicks in Essex when he was killed[/caption]

The five-year-old was crushed underneath the piece of furniture, which weighed up to 80kg, and suffered a “catastrophic” brain injury.

An inquest was told the mirror “must have been very near or on its balance point” when it fell.

Temporary Detective Chief Inspector Michael Pannell was called to the store on July 27, 2021.

He said there was broken glass on the floor and a “considerable amount of blood”.

The officer told the court there was a metal bracket on the wall, a metal bracket on the mirror and a wooden part of the bracket that was in pieces.

He added: “It was my view that this part of the bracket between the two metal brackets had effectively come apart, leaving it freestanding and leaning against the wall.”

DCI Pannell said CCTV showed Freddie entering the lingerie department with his mum and her friend.

The youngster then appeared to touch the mirror while looking at his reflection.

There was a “shimmer” before the item began “moving forwards”.

Freddie was then hit on the “top and back of his head” – causing him to fall unconscious.

DCI Pannell said Freddie “doesn’t really apply any force to the mirror which weighs a significant amount, then (the mirror) leans forward and hits him”.

He was rushed to hospital but tragically died two days later on August 2.

Freddie’s mum, Natasha Ingham described her son as “cheeky and funny and clever” in a moving tribute.

She told the inquest: “He was always smiling which was like a ray of sunshine.”

Freddie’s dad Andrew Farrow said it “feels like part of our world is missing” following his son’s death.

The inquest, estimated to last four to five days, continues.

Former Bournemouth star Jordan Chiedozie, 30, fighting for his life in hospital after horror car crash

A FORMER Bournemouth footballer has been left with “life-changing and potentially life-threatening” injuries after a car crash.

Jordan Chiezdozie, 30, is currently on the books at Bashley FC in the Southern League I.

And the Hampshire club released a shocking statement to share details of the tragic incident on Saturday.

Bashley wrote: “Everyone connected with Bashley Football Club is devastated by the news that our player Jordan Chiedozie is currently in hospital with what is described as “life-changing, and potentially life-threatening” injuries, after a serious car crash.

“Jordan was travelling back from Saturday’s Southern League match at Tavistock with club physio Reighan Taylor, when they pulled over onto the hard-shoulder of the M27 near Southampton, to investigate a flat tyre.

“They were both outside the vehicle when it was hit heavily from behind by another car. The driver of that vehicle has been arrested for alleged “drink-driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.”

“Jordan was taken to Southampton Hospital suffering multiple broken bones and other physical injuries. At this time he remains in a controlled coma.

“Reighan was not hurt physically, but obviously has suffered severe trauma. She was able to use her skills to provide immediate, although in such circumstances, very basic, first aid to Jordan at the scene.

“The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the club are with Jordan and his family, and of course with Reighan, at what is a difficult time for all connected with Bashley FC.

“In view of the seriousness of the situation the club has applied to the Southern League to have Tuesday’s scheduled home match against Thatcham Town, postponed. The Southern League have respectfully agreed with the request.”

Chiedozie came through at Bournemouth and was with the club when they were in League One and the Championship.

He did not play a first-team match for the Cherries and had various loans in non-league before a stint in League Two with Cambridge United.
