Curtis sends All Stars fans into frenzy as he recreates his most iconic Love Island moment in heart rate challenge

THE iconic Heart Rate challenge returned to Love Island tonight, with fans overjoyed as the Islanders sizzled around the fire pit.

Curtis Pritchard‘s Heart Rate challenge was the most hotly-anticipated, with the All Stars and viewers being sent into a frenzy.

Recreating his most iconic Love Island moment, Curtis channelled his inner King Julien from Madagascar after his 2019 Heart Rate challenge performance.

Curtis, who is a professional dancer, made quite the impression during his racy performance six years ago.

Viewers compared Curtis to Madagascar’s King Julien after he donned some sparkly pink hot pants and a flamboyant feather headdress.

Compared to the lemur when he first did the Heart Rate challenge all those years ago, Curtis decided to channel King Julien once again.

Rocking some blue shiny shorts, which were tightly fitted and left very little to the imagination, Curtis also rocked a huge feathery headdress in a blue hue.

Thrusting in the girls’ faces, twerking and moving his body seductively, Curtis then knee slid on the floor leaving his co-stars and viewers at home gobsmaked.

“Did that man just knee slide on wood???” asked one person on Instagram.

KING JULIEN 2.0

“Curtis bringing back his King Julian look is so iconic,” penned another.

A third person then said: “Oh god not Curtis in the headdress again.”

“King Julien 2.0. Last time was one of the best reality tv moments ever,” said a fourth.

“Not Curtis dancing in feathers again…..I can’t,” added a fifth.

While a sixth said: “Not Curtis recycling his series costume.”

When Curtis was originally compared to the Madagascar character, he was also fat-shamed – something he opened up about to The Mirror ahead of his All Stars villa stint last month.

MAGIC MIKE VIBES

“I’ve been hitting the gym as much as I possibly can,” he told the paper.

Here we take you through the line-up of all the Islanders who are in the villa so far.

Bombshells

Each series brings with it a string of hot single bombshells making their epic entrance into the villa.

Here’s who has joined the villa so far:

Touching on his original King Julien dance, he said: “I went into it all guns blazing,” unaware of the comments outside.

He added: “I will stay open-minded to things second time round. I think the best way to take Love Island is just go with the flow and not close the door to anything.

“This time I’ll be less King Julien and more Magic Mike. Give me Ginuwine’s Pony to dance to. I’ll be Speedo body ready.”

The stunning brunette star shot to fame two years ago in 2023 when she starred in season nine as a bombshell.

She entered the villa on day 14 and placed third in the final on day 58 alongside then-boyfriend Tom Clare.

Revealing who she has set her sights on in the villa, Samie revealed that Brighton hunk Luca Bish is a bit of her.

When asked who she hopes to strike up a romance with, she replied: “Luca,” adding, “I feel like he’s very much a bit of me looks wise and watching him on this series, I like that he’s in touch with his emotional side.”

She went on: “He’s been the voice of reason throughout the whole Villa, I’m always saying ‘thank god someone said that…finally!’.”

Samie was then asked about how she would feel to step on Grace Jackson’s toes – who Luca is coupled up with currently.

“Him and Grace look like they’re going fine, but you can’t believe everything you see,” Samie replied.

“The game is the game, this is what happens.

“If he does have a good thing with Grace and stays with her, then he wasn’t for me,” she said.

STEPPING ON GRACE’S TOES

“She’s a bombshell too so she gets it,” Samie went on, adding, “What will be will be.

“I’m not the deciding factor about it, it’ll be up to Luca at the end of the day.”

Also ahead of her villa stint, she was asked why she wanted to return to Love Island, to which Samie said that she hope’s “second time’s a charm”.

“I want to return because, who gets to do this twice?” she said of her All Stars stint.

“You think it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, so if you get offered to do it twice, you’ve got to do it again.

‘SECOND TIME’S A CHARM’

“We had such a good time last time, why not! My relationship didn’t work out so hopefully it’s second time’s a charm,” she added.

Samie also revealed what she’s hoping to get out of a potential relationship off the back of her appearance on the hit show.

“I’m 24, going to be 25 soon but as I’m in my mid-twenties I want a nice, fun but secure relationship,” she revealed.

Samie said that she doesn’t want to settle down, have kids and get married “right away”, but added how she wants to find someone to make memories with.

“I want to find someone I can have fun with and make memories with, so settling down will come later for me.

“I’d like someone fun and ambitious and I want to build an empire with my partner,” she said.

Shocking moment Conor McGregor appears to SPIT in fan’s face after jibe about UFC rival Khabib Nurmagomedov

CONOR McGREGOR appeared to spit in a fan’s face after a jibe about Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor, 36, hasn’t stepped inside the octagon since suffering a horrifying leg break in a losing effort during his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 four years ago.

The Irish fighter’s return date is currently unknown after his highly-anticipated comeback fight against Michael Chandler was axed due to a toe injury.

The mixed martial artist, though, is still attractig the spotlight as a shocking clip of him has now gone viral.

McGregor is shown at what looks like a swanky shopping centre and a fan is heard yelling. “Let’s go Khabib” in what appears to be a quip directed at the Irishman.

The former lightweight champion turns around and has an angry confrontation with the man in question.

A spitting sound is then heard before the ex-featherweight champion walks away.

McGregor is then heard saying: “I spit in your face, what do you do? Nothing.”

The location and date in which the clip is recorded is not yet known.

McGregor’s rivalry with Nurmagomedov back in 2018 went down in history as one of the most intense.

The two fighters had fiery confrontations both inside and outside the octagon.

That led to a fight at UFC 229, which McGregor lost via submission in the fourth round.

The two rivals have never faced since Nurmagomedov retained the lightweight title in Las Vegas.

Chelsea 2 West Ham 1: Graham Potter denied fairytale return to Stamford Bridge as Neto and Palmer mount Blues comeback

GRAHAM POTTER was back on familiar territory at Chelsea – to the extent of taking his old seat in the dugout.

Recent changes at Stamford Bridge mean the away technical area was once the home one, and vice versa.

Apart from that things are pretty much the same as when he was sacked in 2023 after seven months, following a run of three wins from eight games and with the team apparently in turmoil.

Last night’s fortunate win for the latest man to inhabit the home dugout is also only the third in the last eight games. An identical run of form almost two years since Potter was axed.

Yet Enzo Maresca is still regarded as the man to take Chelsea forwards and the three points earned at vast expense against West Ham lifts them back into the top four.

Whether they have the gumption to stay there is hugely questionable because at times Maresca had his head in his hands at some of the stuff that passed for football being played by his team.

Chelsea went behind from a defensive clanger, faced an anxious wait for their equaliser to be cleared by VAR, then needed an own goal from Aaron Wan-Bissaka to finally see off opponents who have been struggling for momentum all season.

A win is a win but there are cracks under the surface and there is nowhere to go in the transfer market between now and summer.

Maresca had a relatively quiet day ahead of the 11pm deadline.

His boldest move was to ditch cock-up keeper Robert Sanchez for making one mistake too many and replaced him with understudy Filip Jorgensen.

When the Dane’s name was read out pre-match, the loud cheers from the Matthew Harding Stand showed what the Chelsea fans thought of that decision.

However, the joy was briefly cut short in just the eighth minute when the new man spilled a dangerous cross whipped in by Andy Irving, with Jarrod Bowen bearing down on him in the box.

It was similar at the other moments later when Chelsea broke at speed and Noni Madueke whipped a curling shot just wide of the post.

It’s always odd when two high profile teams meet on transfer deadline day because half the crowd are wondering if there will be any breaking news between kick off and final whistle.

Maresca has not enjoyed this window one bit, labelling it a ‘disaster’ with all the ‘noise’ – the speculation – that surrounds his players in particular as they play for such a busy club.

But those who make the matchday squad know their futures are safe at least. So why Chelsea seemed so edgy in the first half is a question Maresca and his squad needed to answer during the break.

They played the more stylish football of the two, but struggled to find range and direction when it came to the crunch.

Cole Palmer, Chelsea’s deadliest marksman, had a pinpoint free kick tipped over the bar that drew a cracking save from Alphonse Areola.

But he also smacked the strip lights at the top of The Shed with one shot and put another straight into the arms of the Hammers keeper.

Noni Madueke, Jadon Sancho, Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernandez also narrowly missed – but missed all the same.

Potter’s West Ham have been shuffling along without a recognised striker this year with skipper Jarrod Bowen out having fractured a foot.,

Raring to go, Bowen wasted no time and no chances – gobbling up a dreadful back pass by Levi Colwill to burst clear into the Chelsea box and bend a shot past Jorgensen’s dive at ground level.

Maresca’s team was struggling physically, not just mentally. So much so that he was forced to take off struggling striker Nicolas Jackson and Sancho just six minutes into the second half.

He had used four subs by the hour mark as the Italian desperately plotted to inject some stability into his team that was seriously under the cosh but as much by their own mistakes.

An untidy derby riddled with errors even saw ref Stuart Attwell falling over on the job. And Chelsea’s equaliser was just as scruffy.

Sub Pedro Neto’ cross dropped into the West Ham box and courtesy of the faintest flick on by a visiting defender, hit Chelsea left back Marc Cucurella virtually on the by line.

He managed to knock it back into the path of Fernandez who shot. It was blocked but Neyo scooped up the chance from close range. A lengthy VAR check finally handed Maresca a lifeline.

Chelsea sealed it with 16 minutes to go when Palmer burst forwards on the wing and squared a low cross which took a huge deflection off Wan-Bissaka and looped over Areola and into the net.
