90s TV pin-up unrecognisable as she shops in LA – can you guess who she is?

A TV star looked worlds away from her glamorous Hollywood fame on a trip to the shops this week.

Her recent sighting will no doubt leave fans nostalgic for the golden era of ’90s television.

The 90s pin-up blended into the crowd yesterday in LA[/caption]

People of a certain age will remember the mom-of-two as the fresh-faced, stylish teen idol of the decade.

Yesterday she blended effortlessly into the everyday crowd in LA, wearing minimal makeup and casual clothes.

Dressed in a burgundy hoodie, black leggings, and a baseball cap, she pushed a cart filled with groceries while keeping a low profile.

The actress in question is of course the legendary Tiffani Thiessen who is best known for her role as Kelly Kapowski in Saved by the Bell.

Since her Saved by the Bell days, she has continued to work in Hollywood, starring in shows like Beverly Hills, 90210 and White Collar, while also building a successful career in the culinary world.

She has released two cook books and most recently one titled Here We Go Again, about how to turn leftovers into tasty new meals.

She’s also previously spoken out about how she shed 45lbs and baby weight after having children through healthy eating.

Tiffani notably joined Beverly Hills, 90210 following Shannen’s infamous firing in 1994.

Her character, Valerie Malone, served as a “replacement” for Shannen’s character, Brenda Walsh.

The Saved By The Bell star now spends her weekends now enjoying some family time.

She can be seen hitting the beach with her husband Brady Smith, and the duo’s two children, daughter Harper and son Holt.

Brady, 53, is also an actor, best known for appearing on several TV shows, including ER, Charmed, The Mentalist, White Collar, Criminal Minds, and Alexa & Katie.

He also recently published a children’s book, Maxwell Dark: Nightmare Hunter, which Tiffani promoted on her Instagram.

CAREER JUMP

Tiffani recently discussed her former time on Beverly Hills, 90210 during an interview last year.

She admitted to Us Weekly that she was “nervous” about joining the cast, and “didn’t really know what to expect.”

Meet the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210

“I was coming on to a show that was already established,” she told the magazine.

“Now, granted, I came from a show that I had that was very established as well,” she added.

“But it’s like joining a friend group that has been friends for a long time and you’re the new one.”

Jake Paul ‘has agreement to fight P4P great Canelo Alvarez in May’ but fans all fear what it means

JAKE PAUL has emerged as a shock contender to fight Canelo Alvarez NEXT – with an agreement reportedly in place.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul has audaciously called out pound-for-pound great Canelo over the years.

But according to Mexican journalist Julianis Julius, the fight could be a reality for as early as this summer.

He reported online: “There is already an agreement for Jake Paul to be Canelo Álvarez’s rival in May of this year, a source very close to the operation informs me.

“The event will be co-promoted by Canelo Promotions & MVP & PBC.”

Paul has 11 wins and just one loss – to Tommy Fury via split-decision in 2023 – on his boxing record.

And he most recently beat Mike Tyson, 58, in November but the bout was heavily criticised amid the age gap.

It was also his first fight at heavyweight, bulking up to 16st 2lb after three fights at the 14st 4lb cruiserweight limit of 200lb.

Canelo meanwhile is the current 168lb super-middleweight champion FOUR STONE lighter at 12st.

The Mexican superstar is also in talks to fight unbeaten American Terence Crawford, 37, in September in Las Vegas.

And his usual Cinco de Mayo fight date in May remains open amid the shock reports of facing Paul.

But Paul did appear to suggest his next bout could instead be in July in New York.

He posted: “It’s time. Sat July 5th. New York, New York.”

Canelo, 34, has refused to rule out fighting Paul, 28, in the past – leaving fans fearing he is ready to cash out in his career.

One posted: “Canelo about to retire.”

Another said: “Looks like my boy Canelo is about to retire.”

Paul was probed on his callouts of Canelo on the All The Smoke Fight podcast and he replied: “He’s not a monster in my eyes.

“This is the thing, everyone’s going to tune in to want to see me f***ing die, basically.”

And Canelo said on the Full Send Podcast in 2023: “When I’m done with boxing, why not? Yeah, maybe.

“I think it’s good cause what happens is other people who never watch boxing, they don’t know anything about boxing, they want to watch Jake Paul because he brings fans from another world.”

Our beautiful village is ruined by ‘renegade gang’ of escaped PIGS – they tear up our gardens and no one can catch them

A GANG of ‘renegade’ pigs have been rampaging round a beautiful village causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

The rogue swines escaped from a nearby farm and have started terrorising residents of Garvestone, Norfolk.

Colin Williams claims he will have to spend more than £1,000 to cover the damage done to his garden[/caption]

Local Colin Williams discovered five pigs on CCTV in his garden and claims the damage will cost him more than a hefty £1,000 to repair.

“We came here to live in this lovely village but now the first thing you see when you cross the railway is mullered grass,” he complained.

“We just want this to stop.”

The pig incidents usually involve one or two hogs but, like in Colin’s case, up to five have been spotted at a time.

He’s desperate for the pigs to stop digging up his lawn and feels like he is running out of authorities to turn to for help.

The fuming villager notified the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Animal Welfare and the Animal and Plant Health Agency about the issue as well as called the police.

Couple Lorraine and Phil Williams, unrelated to Colin, have begged a number of organisations to help them tackle the problem.

Phil said: “I’m angry.

“We just know it’s such a lot of money to fix this.”

Lorraine added: “We’ve been told this is a civil matter.

“I’m now looking to speak with Citizens Advice about what we can do.”

Despite the hoodlum hogs being rounded up and returned to the farm, the escapes keep occurring.

To the dismay of residents, more pigs appear to break out each time they run loose.

They target homes along Town Lane and Tanners Green, on both sides of the Mid Norfolk Railway – with the most recent raid unfolding last Sunday.

Lorraine and Phil Williams have also been victims of the pig ‘gang’[/caption]

Gary, another exasperated local, has also been a victim of the pigs and had his lawn completely churned up.

He asked: “What is the point of putting it all back if they’re just going to come back again?”

One resident put a fence up to protect his lawn from being savaged by the swine but they even managed to trample his property by using a neighbour’s garden as access.

The owner of the pigs Trevor Armiger keeps around 100 pigs at Orchard house and believes a saboteur has been letting them out.

“There’s nothing we’ve been doing to let them out and as soon as we’re aware they’re out, we bring them back,” he said.

The farmer has CCTV footage and broken locks to support his claim that someone’s been cutting the locks of the pig pen.

His wife, Danielle Armiger said they’ve never had this issue before and urged locals to take that into account.

She said: “We’ve got proof of someone coming in and letting the pigs out. But people around here aren’t listening to the whole story.

“Trevor has kept pigs here for over 40 years and since August, someone has been letting them out.”

A spokesman for the Norfolk Constabulary said: “Police received a report of criminal damage on January 5 following the victim’s fence being cut on Town Lane, Garvestone.

“All lines of enquiry have been exhausted and the case has been closed.

“Of course, we would always review any new information provided to us.”

I tried the Grammys inspired sheer dress trend – the red frock felt cheap & the gold was gorgeous but too daring

THE SHEER dress trend has dominated the red carpets – and the Grammys were no different.

A-list beauties stepped out revealing all in a variety of sheer dresses for the 67th Music Award ceremony.

Danae Mercer decided to give the sheer dress trend a go[/caption]

While many tried their hand at the fashion trend – it was Bianca Censori who donned the most shocking of all as she proudly showed off her figure in a completely see-through dress.

With the style taking over the red carpet, one woman decided to try it for herself and it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Danae Mercer Ricci, a journalist and influencer took to social media to see if she could pull it off.

Sheer dress trend? No way, no way, I can’t do that,” she said before whipping out several dresses to try on.

The first was a red sheer dress with cutouts along the stomach, but it wasn’t quite to her taste.

She said: “This one’s smaller than a single pant leg,” as she struggled to get into it.

“The quality is kind of rubbish. It feels like cheap nylon stockings and I can’t figure it out, so definitely returning it.”

The next dress was a crochet mini dress with daisies all over which she thought was super ‘cute.’

Danae’s next dress left her floored in the best way, and it looked very similar to Paris Hilton‘s sheer gold dress she wore to the Grammys.

The slim-fitting floor-length dress was made from a sheer gold material and had sequins along the body.

Paris sported a floor-length gown, a similar sheer gold dress embellished with sequins and a deep v-neck.

“It’s gorgeous. Absolutely obsessed with it but it’s pretty daring,” she said.

She wondered if she should keep it and captioned the post: “Online vs reality – sheer dress trend… or how I get blacklisted from fashion brands.”

The video shared to her Instagram account @danaemercer went viral with over 13k likes.

Another commented: “They all look like poorly made 70’s nightgowns to me—hard pass!”

“I feel like the whole “trend” is just a way for manufacturers to cheap out on production by using less material lol that being said, I really like the daisy one,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “No. These nudes are not classy or elegant despite the messaging from Hollywood.”

“The daisy one and the gold one were so cute,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “I’d probably return them all personally BUT it’s only because they’re not MY taste. You rocked them all!”

Evan Ferguson’s loan move to West Ham is welcome boost for Heimir Hallgrimsson – but Ireland no longer reliant on him

FERGIE time.

In an era in which we are all concerned with sustainability — or at least should be — the above headline is a fine example of recycling.

For years, it referred to Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United team and their knack for scoring late goals.

Now, it has been reconstituted to track the career of his namesake Evan, whose first name is also much-appreciated by sub-editors.

And now is the time for the 20-year-old to seize the opportunity afforded to him by a move to West Ham until the end of the season.

It was as far back as November that reports suggested the Ireland international would leave Brighton in this transfer window, most likely on loan.

It made sense given his lack of game-time for the Seagulls since an ankle operation towards the end of last season, with Fabian Hurzeler appointed as their new head coach in the meantime.

Fellow frontmen Danny Welbeck, Georginio Rutter and Joao Pedro all have at least three times the 390 minutes Ferguson has managed in the English top flight in 2024-25.

Hurzeler initially insisted there was no foundation to the reports but slowly but surely changed his tune to the point where it was not a question of whether he would leave but one of where to.

West Ham looks like a solid choice, with two of their three senior strikers sidelined. Michail Antonio may never play again because of his car crash. His campaign is certainly over.

Niclas Fullkrug is expected to be out for at least another two months with a hamstring injury.

The last rival standing is Danny Ings who, like Ferguson, has one Prem goal to his name this term.

As a result, attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta has been asked to lead the line. Jarrod Bowen has done so too, including on his return from injury last night when he scored.

But his preferred position is out wide so there is a clearer path to regular football at the Hammers than at most Premier League clubs.

If the Meath native can flourish under Graham Potter, the gaffer who gave him his first taste of men’s football in England, then we can all breathe a little more easily and reassure ourselves that the past year was nothing more than growing pains.

But, with Brighton signing 19-year-old Stefanos Tzimas from PAOK for £22.9million after he impressed on loan stint at FC Nurnberg, it also indicates Ferguson may well need to consider a more permanent move away from England’s south coast.

The signing of the Greek teenager serves as another reminder of just how ruthless life is in the English Premier League.

And the fact that Ferguson has been loaned out rather than sold may be simply because Brighton reckon a solid second half to the season could help his market value recover some of the ground it has lost over the past 12 months.

HOPE OF THE NATION

Never mind that the entire Irish nation has dumped its hopes on Ferguson’s broad shoulders, it appears as though Brighton have already diverted their gaze to another bright young thing.

Ferguson’s task in the 14 Premier League matches remaining for West Ham may be as much to impress potential suitors rather than to try to persuade his parent club that he has a part to play in their future.

And it will not be just those at Bohemians — because of the 12.5 percent sell-on clause agreed four years ago — who will be following his fortunes closely but those who believe that World Cup qualification is a realistic possibility.

Because, despite his difficulties at club level, Ferguson remains a key player for Heimir Hallgrimsson.

He featured in all six of Ireland’s matches since the Icelander took over, starting the last four, meaning he has almost as many minutes in international football this year as he does in the Premier League.

He scored against Finland and could feel hard done by not having been awarded a penalty away to both Greece and England, a memory-prompt for the trouble he can cause defenders.

Ireland are not wholly reliant on him as they might have been in a previous era. In 2018, Aiden O’Brien — now 31 and playing for Woking in the National League after a spell with Shelbourne — started three games for Ireland up front.

He did score, in a friendly against Poland, but the forward options available to Hallgrimsson are not comparable to the tail end of the reign of Martin O’Neill, much of which had been spent lamenting the fact Robbie Keane was not any younger.

The Under-21s did not offer much hope for the future either. Reece Grego-Cox, Joe Quigley, Ronan Hale and Ryan Manning were the strikers named in the first squad of the year.

The first two play in the National League, Hale — now with Ross County — has switched to Northern Ireland and Manning has made progress, but as a full-back.

That forced people to look further down the conveyor belt to see what might be coming down the track.

Troy Parrott, Adam Idah, Aaron Connolly, Michael Obafemi, Glen McAuley and Ryan Cassidy were the ones creating the most amount of excitement.

McAuley was at Liverpool while Cassidy came through at Watford. Neither man has played professional football for a number of years. Connolly is still trying to reclaim some of the ground he has lost since breaking through at Brighton, joining Millwall from Sunderland this month in search of regular football.

Obafemi spent the second half of last season at The New Den, on loan from Burnley, and is spending this season with Plymouth on loan again.

The Pilgrims are rooted to the bottom of the Championship and he has started just a third of their 30 league games, scoring twice, so it is hardly going as well as he would’ve hoped.

PRIME EXAMPLES

But Idah and Parrott are prime examples of how a stalling of a career does not have to turn into a nosedive.

Idah’s hat-trick for Norwich City in the FA Cup against Preston North End at the age of 18 set the bar ridiculously high.

He has not been a prolific striker, and may never be, and that might explain why he is not a guaranteed starter for Celtic.

But his two goals — and the quality of his finishing — against Aston Villa in the Champions League should address some of the snootiness about his exploits in Scotland, including a cup final winner last season. He hit the target again on Sunday against Motherwell.

Admittedly, it might be a bit tougher against Bayern Munich in the play-off round but what a stage for the Cork man to test himself.

Similarly, there can be a tendency for some to diminish Parrott’s record in the Eredivisie but Uefa rank it as the sixth-best top flight and the Europa League is providing the Dubliner with some sterner tests.

Already, he has scored against Roma, Ferencvaros and Elfsborg, and played against old club Spurs, Athletic Bilbao, Fenerbahce — managed by Jose Mourinho who gave him his Tottenham debut — and Galatasaray.

They will face Gala — with whom they drew 1-1 at home — again over two legs this month. And Parrott’s uninspiring loan moves at lower-division clubs are now a distant memory with 14 goals already to his name this season.

Parrott turns 23 today, Idah 24 a week later. Ferguson is only 20 and primed to reinforce why he had jumped ahead of those older than him in the pecking order.

It is Fergie time again.

The influencer recently returned from a £1,500-a-night trip to St Moritz
Instagram

Molly was dressed casually in a black tracksuit and appeared unbothered by the fine on the £200,000 Mercedes G Wagon.

But parking fines are nothing new to the former Love Island star.

Last year she was snapped with one on her windscreen 11 times meaning – at £70 a pop – she forked out £770 for parking in the wrong place.

Molly recently jetted off on a £1,500-a-night ‘work trip’ to St Moritz and later shared a vlog from the stunning location.

She opened up about how she’s feeling following the release of her Amazon Prime documentary series.

In her latest YouTube vlog, Molly said: “I feel like I’m overthinking everything that I post, say or do at the minute.

“I’m very much in my overthinking era.

“It’s basically since the documentary has come out, everything I post and do, I’m just getting used to posting normally again.

In the series Molly opened up about her split from boxer Tommy Fury, who she shares daughter Bambi with.

Speaking in the new upload, she continued: “I’ve got to be completely honest with you, I’ve had moments over the last six months of filming, I really had moments where I just wanted to run away from everything.

“I didn’t feel like I had the strength, I didn’t feel like I had the confidence to talk vulnerably.”

Molly and Tommy previously sparked rumours they were getting back together.

But last month they were forced to hold two separate birthday parties for Bambi due to tensions in their families over the split.

Coronation Street in another major schedule shakeup this week as sport wreaks havoc for ITV soap

CORONATION Street has announced another major schedule shakeup as the sport continues to wreak havoc on the schedule.

The long-running ITV soap has suffered episode changes due to sporting fixtures, which leave fans furious.

Friday’s planned visit to the cobbles has been ditched[/caption]

Just last week, Friday’s episode to the Weatherfield cobbles was ditched for coverage of the Six Nations Championship.

As a result, fans only saw two out of three episodes.

And in a further shakeup, Friday’s episode has been axed again as ITV dedicate almost three hours of their schedule to the FA Cup.

The action will kick off from 7:30pm, just after Emmerdale.

Coronation Street will now broadcast on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

It’s unclear how soap bosses will make up for last Friday’s episode that was culled.

Fans have watched as a horrific inferno ripped through the Platt household, with it currently unclear who has made it out alive.

The blaze came after David Platt stole money from the notorious gangster Harvey Gaskell.

Harvey’s thugs were out for David after taking money which belonged to him – putting his whole family in danger.

Recent episodes have seen Lily given a threatening note and Shona get kidnapped.

Coronation Street is available on ITVX.

Coronation Street's 2024 shock exits

Corrie has said goodbye to several cast members this year. Let's break down who's left the famous soap:

Eliza Woodrow (Savannah Kunyo) has said farewell to Corrie to start a new life in Germany.

The youngster moved to live with her dad Dom Everett, who went back on the £10,000 bribe Eliza’s grandfather Stu had offered to keep him out of her life.

Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) will bow out of the soap this summer when he loses his fight with motor neurone disease (MND) in tragic scenes.

After being diagnosed last year, the fan favourite was devastated to learn he only had months left to live.

Viewers know he is planning to take his own life to end his suffering.

Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) departed the cobbles after being offered the opportunity of a lifetime to study in America.

Though she struggled to decide with her stepdad Paul’s impending death from MND, she was convinced she had to live her life to the full.
