The 1% Club fans call out ‘easiest final question ever’ on ITV show – but could you get it right?
VIEWERS of The 1% Club have called out the show for the easiest final question ever on the notoriously difficult quiz contest.
Lee Mack fronts the ITV entertainment show which sees 100 players hoping they have the skills and knowledge to remain in the show to reach the all-important 1% question.

However, some viewers were left insisting the latest big question was “embarrassing” as they insisted it was “easy” to arrive at the final question.
On Saturday’s episode, just three players managed to make it to the floor for the chance to answer the final question and walk away with a stake in the major jackpot.
The episode’s jackpot stood at £96,000 with Courtney, Wayne and Sam all faced with answering the following question.
It read: “How many dots (i.e. ‘.’) – including any used in punctuation and letters… – are used in writing this question?”
Out of the three of them, Courtney fell at the final hurdle but Wayne and Sam managed to guess it correctly.
The answer to the question was 17 – did you get it right?
It was explained that every dot sitting atop a letter, given as an example in parentheses as well as in question marks.
It led some fans to brand it “easy” as it amounted to just adding up dots as opposed to using any certain type of skill.
Writing online, one fan of the show said: “Embarrassing that counting dots was a 1% question.”
Another added: “This was an easy 1% question to be fair.”
A third said: “This was the easiest 1% question ever.”
Before a fourth stated: “We all got 17 and couldn’t believe it was that easy, almost as if there has to be a catch here. Literally just needed to count. The 1% is usually rock hard.”
As a result of only Wayne and Sam getting the question right, they were able to split the prize fund and walk away with £48,000 each.

NATHAN ASPINALL has been back in hospital with yet another injury scare.
The World No.11 goes into the Winmau World Masters on Thursday and Premier League opening night in Belfast next week nursing a new elbow issue.
Nathan Aspinall is battling another injury ahead of the Darts Premier League[/caption] The 33-year-old suffered from elbow trouble earlier this month[/caption]The Stockport star, 33, required medical attention in Bahrain a fortnight ago.
His elbow swelled up on the eve of the opening World Series of Darts, which initially was thought to be an insect bite.
Aspinall battled on but lost in the quarter-finals to Luke Humphries.
However, it has been revealed that he was back in hospital in the UK prior to travelling to the Netherlands last week with the issue refusing to go away.
Aspinall, 33, crashed out of the Dutch Masters with a shock 6-1 defeat to Kevin Doets on Friday night.
ITV commentator Dan Dawson confirmed: “They weren’t quite sure what it was in Bahrain and they’re still not 100 per cent sure what’s caused it.
“But even as recently as yesterday, it was still causing him problems.
“He had to visit hospital back in the UK this week as well.

“It is bursitis, so it’s an infection of his elbow.
“He’s been taking tablets for it to try and manage the condition, but it looks like something that he’s going to have to deal with for a few weeks.”
Aspinall opened up on suffering with Dartitis just prior to the World Championship in December.
He has also been dogged with injuries to his back and wrist.
On getting Dartitis, he said last year: “I was open and honest about it, I’ve tried to hide it for the last 18 months, two years, but I think it was important for people to understand what I’ve been through.
“I will overcome it and give hope to anyone else that’s going through something similar.”

“They have approached Chelsea from Selling Sunset and bosses are hoping she’ll sign on the dotted line.
“She’s stunning, she knows how to whip up drama and she’s also single after splitting from her husband late last year.”
Chelsea, 31, split from husband Jeff in 2024, with her filing for divorce after seven years of marriage.
In an episode of Selling Sunset Chelsea was told by Bre Tiesi that Jeff had been seen “making out” with another woman.
Chelsea and Jeff are parents to Maddox, five, and Melia, three.
Speaking to Access Hollywood following the split, she said: “I’m doing good.
“Ups and downs, take every day as it comes, but today I’m doing really good.”
Chelsea also teased that the break-up will play out on Selling Sunset.
She said: “You’re going to have to watch it, aren’t you?
“What do you mean, ‘Will we see what happened?’ What do you think I am? Think I started yesterday?”
The Sun recently revealed Celebs Go Dating are also lining up recent Love Island exes Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies for the new series.
A source said: “Nicole was asked to come in for talks with bosses almost immediately after the split with Ciaran – she was a real character on the ITV show so E4 bosses are eager for her to sign up.”
Huge boost for UK’s first Universal Studios theme park with 500-room hotel – as final sign off ‘in the pipeline’
BRITAIN is set to receive a huge tourism boost with a new thrill-seeking Universal Studios theme park.
Twenty thousand jobs will be created to build the attraction on a 476-acre site to help turbo charge the economy.
Millions of holiday-makers already enjoy popular rides at their theme parks including Revenge of the Mummy, Harry Potter and The Simpsons.
Rachel Reeves is looking at the proposals with a final decision about the site in Bedfordshire understood to be in the pipeline.
The Chancellor will unveil growth plans this week in a major speech that will give the green light for expansion at Heathrow Airport.
Officials are understood to be looking at government involvement in the plans such as road and rail improvements.
Treasury coffers would be boosted by an estimated £35 billion to the economy when the Universal project is being built and for the first 25 years after its doors open.
The project, which will be 45 miles from London, will plough £14 billion into Treasury coffers in tax revenue in the coming years.
The firm already has theme parks in America, China, Japan and Singapore but the project will require special permission from Ministers to ensure the planning system isn’t held up.
The site will be part of a huge regeneration plan which will include major infrastructure rail links connecting towns between Oxford and Cambridge.
It will also come with a 500-room hotel to accommodate some of the visitors.
Tourism Minister Chris Bryant recently told MPs: “I cannot enter into the precise details of the negotiations, but they are going well.
“I am hopeful that this will be absolutely transformational for the British tourism industry if we manage to pull it off.”
Mohammad Yasin, who represents Bedford in Parliament, recently said: “To have such a huge global brand like Universal Studios invest in Britain would be fantastic.”
Any decision would come after Ms Reeves faced a backlash from companies who have to pay increased national insurance contributions, helping to raise £25 billion.
