EVIL paedophile Jack Manning is at the centre of a fresh Garda investigation, The Irish Sun can reveal.
New complaints against the former Christian Brother, 88, were made before he was handed a four-year prison sentence last week.
The monster was caged for abusing eight boys he was teaching at CBS Westland Row in Dublin city centre in the 1970s.
Manning was sent back to jail after he received a three-year sentence in 2021 for abusing pals Donal Lynch, Thomas O’Callaghan, Kieran Best and Anthony Doherty at the same school when they were just seven years old, also in the 1970s.
Mr Lynch — who first made a complaint against Manning in 2017 to investigators from Pearse Street Garda Station — welcomed the paedo’s latest conviction.
The survivor also believes our previous stories on the sex beast in 2021 led to more victims coming forward.
And he told of his belief that Manning — who started his abuse in the ’60s — was “more evil” than paedo priest Fr Brendan Smyth, who assaulted hundreds of kids over 40 years.
Donal, 59, said: “I’ve no doubt our case and the interview we did sowed the seeds for this latest conviction.
“I am delighted that those brave individuals came forward and got justice after such a long time.
“Manning is the devil and he would put the actions of Brendan Smyth to shame.
“Those eight individuals have now got justice, but we know that other complaints have been made.
“I took off my Covid mask when he was sentenced in 2021 because I want the world to know what he did to us.
‘HE SHOULD NEVER BE RELEASED’
“That man is evil because of what he did and he should never be released from prison.”
Mr Lynch believes the Christian Brothers should have their assets confiscated to compensate survivors.
He added: “They should be stripped off all their assets and these should be shared among the survivors of people like Manning.
“There are survivors who didn’t get anything and they should be compensated to help them cope with the trauma they have endured.
‘WORKING HARD TO GET JUSTICE’
“Manning was part of a very wealthy organisation and that’s why they should be held accountable for what he did. I think the stripping of assets is something that the judicial process should seriously consider.
“We’ve been working hard to get justice for all of Manning’s victims.”
Following Manning’s latest conviction, former Supt Joseph Gannon, who led the investigation into Manning’s abuse of Mr Lynch and his pals, also welcomed his most recent jail sentence.
Mr Gannon said: “The wheels of justice have turned slow in this case, but I am delighted that yet more victims of this individual have secured justice.
‘IMPACT DEVASTATING’
“The impact that this predator has had on innocent children has been just devastating.
“I would also like to commend the investigation team in this case for all their professionalism, dedication and resilience.”
After Manning was exposed as a prolific paedophile, a number of his former pupils passed away.
They include two men who took their own lives, while others have battled drug and alcohol abuse because of what they suffered.
And, as they investigate further abuse by Manning, in a file to the DPP, cops said: “Investigating gardai have little doubt this person preyed on young boys in school and used his position of authority to conduct his sexual crimes.
“Gardai have no doubt that Jack Manning, during class time at CBS school, did abuse children.”
