PRINCE Andrew told Jeffrey Epstein they should “keep in close touch” in an email – two months after he claimed he cut off contact with the paedo.
Bombshell court documents have revealed new details about the Duke’s friendship with the disgraced financier – and contradict the royal’s claims.
In his infamous car-crash Newsnight interview, Andrew, 64, claimed he severed ties with Epstein in December 2010.
He said he didn’t see or speak to Epstein after they were pictured strolling through Central Park in New York City shortly after the paedo was released from jail for child sex offences.
But emails disclosed in a filing by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) reveal he spoke to Epstein in February 2011.
In an email, he told Epstein: “Keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon.”
The emails have been exposed as the FCA defends an appeal by former Barclays Bank boss James Edward “Jes” Staley.
Banking chief Staley claimed he stopped direct contact with Epstein after joining Barclays in 2015.
But emails appear to show he was still in touch with the sex offender as late as December 2017.
The relationship with Epstein ultimately cost him his job as in 2023 he was fined £1.8 million for having “recklessly misled” regulators on his ties to the financier.
He was also banned from holding senior management positions in the financial services industry.
Emails previously revealed in 2023 also cast doubt on Andrew’s claims he cut Epstein off.
On February 28, 2011, Epstein wrote to Staley: “Andrew asked for your London schedule.”
Newly-released emails show Epstein emailed the Duke the day before to say: “Jes staley will be in London on next tue afternoon, if you have time”.
Andrew responded to clarify the date and added: “Keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon.”
The royal has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in the Epstein scandal – claiming he knew nothing of his criminal behaviour.
Court documents revealed last year claimed Andrew had an “underage orgy” with staying on Epstein’s private island.
An unnamed Jane Doe – widely understood to be his accuser Virginia Giuffre – was allegedly “forced” by Epstein to “have sexual relations” with the Duke of York.
She was allegedly told to “give the Prince whatever he demanded”.
In 2022, Andrew settled a civil sex assault case with his accuser Virginia Giuffre – sparing him a humiliating court battle over claims he raped and abused her when she was 17.
During his Newsnight interview in 2019, Andrew told Emily Maitlis: “I ceased all contact with [Epstein] after I was aware that he was under investigation and that was later in 2006 and I wasn’t in touch with him again until 2010.”
When she asked him if there had been any contact, he again stated: “No contact.”
Maitlis added: “Did you see or speak to him again?”. Andrew said: “No.”
Police in Florida began investigating Epstein in 2006, before he was sentenced to 18 months in jail for soliciting a minor for prostitution two years later.
He was then found dead in his prison cell in a Manhattan jail in August 2019 as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges.
Late last year, the FBI’s investigation into Andrew and his friendship with Epstein was “parked”.
US cops paused their probe until “new evidence is presented that can move the case forward”.
JORDAN HENDERSON had been caught up in a transfer storm that saw him refuse to wear the Ajax captain’s armband before returning to the dressing room with his tail between his legs.
Henderson, 34, has been linked with a spectacular switch to AS Monaco in the dying embers of the January transfer window.
The 81-time England international had reportedly been tempted by a switch to Monaco, agreeing personal terms with the Ligue 1 club on a contract until the summer of 2026.
But his ideal switch to the French league was scuppered when current club Ajax made it clear that they want to keep hold of him.
Ajax offered Henderson a lifeline after his move to Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ettifaq went down in burning flames last January.
The Dutch giants footed a hefty signing bonus and healthy pay packet for Henderson after he left the Saudi club on a free transfer just six months after joining.
And it appears that they, understandably, want to keep hold of the man they’ve committed so much time and money to – not least because he is still contracted until 2026 in Amsterdam.
However, a report from Dutch outlet De Telegraaf claims that Henderson was willing to force his way out of the club to get his move – and he wanted it to be for FREE.
De Telegraaf claim the former Liverpool man had requested that Ajax allow him to leave to join AS Monaco on a free transfer, despite having 18 months remaining on his contract.
Henderson is said to have threatened that he would no longer line up for Ajax if he was denied his lucrative switch to the French league.

In fact, in a last ditch attempt to show is frustrations at being denied an exit, Henderson reportedly REFUSED to wear the captain’s armband for Ajax’s 2-1 Europa League win over Galatasaray on Thursday.
Despite being listed as the club captain on the team sheet pre-match, manager Francesco Farioli handed the armband to goalkeeper Remko Pasveer instead.
The controversy didn’t stop there either as Henderson seemingly chose not to celebrate Ajax’s two goals during the game.
While he also appeared to wave goodbye to the fans when he was substituted in the 77th minute.
Henderson’s behaviour didn’t go unnoticed. Fans and ex-pros were quick to share their dismay at the club captain seemingly being so open about trying to force a move.
Ajax icon Wesley Sneijder said live on Ziggo Sport: “Don’t be so difficult.
“You just play that match with the armband on and then you say, ‘Yeah guys, I don’t know yet’. Something is going on.
“We’ll see what happens tomorrow. Be a man and stand up. Right now, you get all this speculation, and you create unrest. It could have been much calmer if he had just worn the armband.”
While Ajax fans labelled Henderson as a “disgrace of a player” online.
Following a whirlwind 24 hours of uncertainty, Henderson appears to have now had a change of heart.
According to a sperate report by De Telegraaf, the midfielder has now apologised for his behaviour.
It’s claimed that Henderson has promised technical director Alex Kroes, who immediately came into the dressing room at full-time on Thursday, that he will STAY at Ajax until the end of the season.
The incredible u-turn comes after Henderson has reportedly claimed he has grown to love life at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
Henderson had made 44 appearances for Ajax since his arrival a year ago, registering eight assists in that time.
While this season he has been one of the most crucial cogs in manager Farioli’s side.
RONAN Keating and his wife Storm live in a sensational £5million mansion that sits just outside of London.
The couple first purchased the home back in 2016 but made the decision to knock it down and start again after being told that the plumbing and electrical would need replacing, and that the structure was shoddy.
The new structure went down in 2019 and they have been working on it since then – making it into a zero carbon home with beautiful interiors.
Ronan and Storm had been living in another property while the project was ongoing, but found themselves at loggerheads with their cleaner who claimed they refused to pay a £500 bill.
Boyzone star Ronan, 47, and his wife Storm regularly post interior updates with their fans of their countryside mansion, from the huge swimming pool and entertaining area to their chic marble island bar that runs through the centre of the kitchen.
The couple decided to build from scratch, designing an inspirational eco home that could be “an example of quality sustainable products and green living”.
In 2021, Storm said it has taken years to plan their completely zero carbon home which harvests its own rainwater and even waste.
And the couple certainly haven’t compromised on luxury – and installed a swimming pool and tennis court.
The home stands on a huge plot of land, with incredible views of the countryside.
Other impressive features include a huge living room with a wood-panelled fireplace and stone coffee table.
They also have a very modern kitchen with a large marble table, gold drop down lights and huge glass windows that look out over the garden.
In one room, the musician has placed a Yamaha piano and it looks out onto the outdoor seating area, where fans can spot a massive L-shaped black sofa.
In 2023, Ronan, requested permission to build a 32 x 22-foot structure for his collection of supercars on the four-acre property in Hertfordshire.
They include a £200,000 McLaren 650S, a £100,000 Mercedes G-Wagen, and a Land Rover Defender.
The former Boyzone singer claimed his family struggled to enter their home without getting drenched in the winter.
But in order to avoid obstructing expansive views of the nearby countryside, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, he applied to construct a 12ft tall open-sided canopy.
Despite their sensational £5million home, Ronan last year revealed that he and his wife and kids would be temporarily moving to Australia.
The former Boyzone star made the “very difficult decision” to quit his hit radio show, Magic Radio Breakfast Show, after seven years.
Ronan told how he’d had an “incredible” response from his breakfast show listeners, yet was eager to get back to “really important” moments of family time which he’d “missed”.
The singer decided to go Down Under to spend quality time with his wife Storm and their kids Cooper and Coco.
Ronan said he was also taking the time to write new music while in Australia.
He told RSVP Magazine: ‘I’ve had seven great years on Magic. I can’t believe it’s been seven years since I started.
“I’m going to concentrate on making an album, writing music and touring. We’re going to spend some time in Australia with Storm’s family.
“That will be for a few months. We’re going travelling for a while overseas.”
Ronan’s children, from his first marriage to his ex-wife Yvonne Connolly, Missy, Love Island star Jack and Ali also planned to visit them.
Returning home to the UK over Christmas, Ronan, who is evidently fond of a lavish lifestyle, hired a private jet from K9 Jets in order for his beloved dog and cats to travel from one side of the world to the other.
Ronan shared images of their animals on board alongside Australian wife Storm, where they were pampered with a bed and couches for lots of rest on the long-haul trip.
THERE are arguably few things more stressful than taking a baby swimming.
From getting them dressed, to ensuring their swimming nappies are on correctly, to THOSE gross changing tables – it’s all in all a pretty unenjoyable experience.
So it’s no wonder a mum has been praised for sharing a genius hack that’s been a “game changer” when taking her daughter swimming.
Katie took to TikTok to share a video of herself demonstrating the hack – holding her little girl as she headed into the sports centre, wheeling a little suitcase.
She then wheeled the case down to the changing room, before unzipping it, putting it on the floor and lining it with towels.
Katie was then able to lay her daughter down on the towels to get her ready for her dip, with the baby looking adorably excited about the upcoming swim.
“Thank me later for the best swimming hack for babies,” Katie wrote over the top of the video.
“This was a game changer for us!”
And it seems the trick also made the experience more enjoyable for her daughter, as Katie added in the caption that she’s a little “water baby”.
People quickly took to the comments section to praise Katie for sharing the hack, with one writing: “Thank you for this.
“I took my 4 month old and had to wait because people were using the family changing rooms with out babies and I had nowhere to put him.”
“Due twins and panicked about this! Thank you!!” another added.
“Genius!” a third commented.

“You are a genius,” another gushed.
While others shared their own nifty tricks for taking babies swimming.
“I use a Bumbo for my kids at swimming especially when they become more mobile – stops them escaping lol,” one wrote.
“Bathrobe and x2 towels plus a folding changing mat,” another said.

A YOUNG mum recalled the judgement she received after falling pregnant twice while she was still in school.
She revealed that people advised her to have an abortion when she was first expecting at 16.
In her viral video, TikTok user Yasmyn Switzer (@yasmynswitzer) recounted her experience becoming a teen mum while she was still in school.
The mum-of-three revealed that she was 16 when she moved in with her aunt and started her penultimate year at a new school.
Her move was a result of her parent’s addiction issues and the teen had just ended a “toxic relationship with a summer fling.”
Yasmyn had just settled into her new life when she suspected something was going on.
She visited the school nurse in between classes and discovered she was pregnant.
Yasmyn recalled how she had to return to class “immediately” after the life-changing moment.
While her aunt was “very supportive,” strangers advised her “to get an abortion.”
Instead, she decided to leave school and begin homeschooling while she carried out her pregnancy.
The following year, after giving birth to her daughter Laela, Yasmyn made another decision that would shape her life.
“I went back to school as a single mum for my senior year and reconnected with another boy I’d met the year before,” she recalled.
She described how they “fell in love,” adding that her boyfriend was accepting of her situation.
During their final year in school, Yasmyn and her partner Logan moved in together and the then 17-year-old “got pregnant again” with her daughter Ana.
Almost six years on, the now 23-year-old is engaged and has welcome her third daughter Millie-Isla.
She shared pictures of her experience as a teen mum in school, crediting her friends with accepting and supporting her.
Tasmyn and her partner even posed with her baby before heading to prom.
Tracy Kiss, who fell pregnant at 19, has revealed what she believes are the pros of being a young mother.
The personal trainer and blogger, from Buckinghamshire, believes women who give birth in their teens make BETTER mothers than those in their 30s.
She claims young mums snap back into shape quicker, have more energy and relate more easily to their children, meaning they’re better behaved and happier.
Tracy told Fabulous: “Women who become first-time mums in their teens make better parents than those in their 30s or 40s.
“I believe if I’d been 10 or so years older before becoming a mother then I wouldn’t have the relationship I have with my children now.
“For a start, being older I would have had less energy and therefore less patience.
“I wouldn’t be as enthusiastic to speak to people after months of sleepless nights as I was in my teens.
“My body snapped back to its pre-pregnancy size through fitness post-birth, which in turn gave me the confidence to date and find love again. I’ve never been happier than I am now at the age of 30 with two children.
“If I’d have been alone at 40 with a newborn baby I’d be more tired, less happy with my body, less energetic and far more stressed from the shock of living my life for myself instead of putting others first. Sometimes age and the innocence of ignorance is a good thing.
“As a teen mum I just got on with it, found my feet and became responsible and capable because at the time I didn’t know any different.”
TikTok users shared their thoughts on the situation in the comments section.
“You know the relationship is going to last forever when the he falls in love with you AND your baby at such a young age,” wrote one viewer.
“My mama graduated with three kids, it is what it is,” said another follower.
“All I’m reading is that you finished school even with the kiddos, good job girl,” commented a third person.
“You’re so strong, your children are so luck to have you,” wrote another TikTok user.
IF there’s one professional who can tell you where the dirtiest, grimiest hidden areas of your house are, it’s a cleaner.
They’ll have seen it all and some of the places they might tell you to watch out for will surprise you.
Professional cleaner @22cleanstreet posted a clip to TikTok, warning viewers about all the things they wouldn’t have in their home.
The first item on the list was a Bloo gel toilet rim block, which are placed inside your toilet to keep it fresh.
Although designed to keep your toilet clean, the TikTokker claims they are “very unhygienic” and says men “love to target these for fun, to watch the colour come out”.
The second item on their list was surprising, and something many of us have around the house.
The cleaner said: “Rugs trap dirt and bacteria, however much you hoover them.
“You child’s last packet of crips [sic] from 2023 is still lingering in the crevices.”
Toilet Duck is an American brand of gel toilet cleaner, which many will recognise from it’s uniquely duck-shaped bottle neck, designed to reach properly under your toilet rim.
Although stocked in supermarkets all over the country, and bought by millions, the TikTok user said it leaves stains all around the flush and bowl, and recommended people use Harpic for limescale.
Venetian blinds can be difficult to clean because of their intricate design and fiddly structure, their individual slats mean they attract dust easily and take a bit longer to clean.
One user in the comments asked: “How would you clean those blinds?”
To which the original poster replied: “With a lot of hard work. So you need to dry dust first. The Flash dusters are really good. Then it’s a case of a multipurpose in warm water and doing each blind individually.”
Commenting on the durability of the matte black design, the cleaner said: “Once it’s gone, it’s gone! If it’s not looked after you can’t turn it back.”
Other cleaners in the comments agreed that the matte black fittings were their ‘worst nightmare’.
Usually found in bathrooms, Waterfall taps are popular for their minimalist and luxury look.
Clearly not a fan, the cleaner said they build up limescale quickly.
They warned that the waterfall taps require thorough cleaning and maintenance from day one.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Lego sets were also given a shout out on the list.
Although interesting to look at, the intricate designs build up dust quickly, and can be risky to clean due to their fragile nature.
The cleaner claims they “belong in the box” and said she’s thankful her Lego-obsessed client keeps his stored away securely.
Viewers in the comments were quick to agree on the list, with many of them having struggled to clean the items in their own house.
“Our entire downstairs is LEGOs it’s insane,” said one person.
“Hated my fountain tap, so hard to clean, always pink in the corners where it was difficult to scrub,” said another.
While someone else said: “Totally agree with you about Toilet Duck. Hate it.”
