Criminal Minds: Why Aubrey Plaza’s Cat Adams Became A Killer
I was trolled for being a teen mum at 13 & told I should die – but I’ve totally defied them with my latest career move
A WOMAN who got pregnant at 13 and was told by cruel trolls she should die has defied bullies with her impressive new career move.
Maddie Lambert-Crowley, now 21, is mum to Everly, seven, and baby Ryder, who will soon be one.
Teen mum Maddie Lambert-Crowley has opened up about being accepted to do pre-medical studies[/caption] Maddie, now 21, has welcomed her second child following getting pregnant with her first child at 13[/caption]She has previously hit back at trolls who said she must be a bad mother for getting pregnant so young.
Maddie dropped out of school after falling pregnant with her first child, but has now completed her first degree.
And this week she had an exciting update for her fans on YouTube about her career.
Maddie shared how she has been accepted for pre-medical studies, with the hope of one day becoming a doctor.
She said: “I’ve been registering for classes because I got accepted to my university—my dream university.
“I literally did not pick any safe schools. It was the only place I applied to because I knew that’s my home, that’s where I want to be. I got accepted.
“I did get accepted, and I’m very, very excited about that. I just registered for classes, and I’m going to be taking Anatomy, Physiology, and Analysis of Scientific Literature.
“I also had to choose between Embryology or Applied Molecular Cell Biology, and I chose Applied Molecular Cell Biology because it just sounded more interesting to me.
“I also start classes in about two weeks—actually, a little less than that, maybe a week and a half. I’m kind of scared because it’s going to be all science classes.
“These are the kinds of classes that prepare people for medical school.
“So for all the people who said I wasn’t pre-med in community college—suck my butt.”
Maddie previously spoke about her desire to study medicine, saying in a YouTube Q&A: “I’ve talked a lot about going to medical school, and I think that would be a lot of fun. I do want to go into medicine, but I’ve also talked to a lot of medical professionals.
“I’ve spoken with doctors, PAs, and NPs, and one of the biggest consensuses I’ve gotten is that medical school equals debt, and you lose so much time.”
Fans were impressed with Maddie, with one saying: “Congrats on being pre-med Maddie.”
Maddie dropped out of school after falling pregnant with her first child, but has now completed her first degree[/caption]Another one added: “I’ve been following your journey for about 4 years and I am so happy that you went back to school and I’m so happy for you.”
When Everly’s father, Isaac, first found out that Maddie was pregnant, he was 15, and thought that the whole thing was a joke.
Isaac was not present at all for 10 months after finding out about the pregnancy, and demanded a paternity test before agreeing to be involved in his daughter’s life.
Successful co-parenting
Currently she has seven-year-old Everly Joy from a previous partner[/caption]Maddie was furious at Isaac, and when the results of the test came back, refused to let Everly meet her father for a long time.
However, the pair have now patched things up, and successfully co-parent their daughter.
“People assume that I’m a bad mum because I’m a teenager, but I have the same capacity to parent as anybody on this world,” she said.
“A good mum is somebody who drop everything for their child, and I dropped my whole childhood.
“I do everything for that little girl, she’s my entire world.”
Maddie is now happily married to her husband Randy Crowley, and the pair share baby Ryder.
Teen mum stigma
She shares little Ryder James with her husband, Randy[/caption] Maddie did acknowledge that having kids so young wasn’t advisable[/caption]The Texan revealed that before getting pregnant so young herself, she had always looked down on teen mums, due to “lack of understanding.”
When she first found out that she was pregnant, Maddie said that she was met with a barrage of hate, from people telling her that she was ruining her life, and was even sent the addresses of abortion clinics.

Maddie Lambert-Crowley
One troll even cruelly told her that they wished she had died in labour, whilst class mates would constantly mock her in the playground.
Instead of letting the hate get to her, Maddie made the conscious decision to “take it” and “shift it”.
“I said ‘this is making my life'”, she told Love Don’t Judge.
“The hate made me want to do better, it made me want to show them that I’m going to be the best mum ever.”
Here's why I love being a young mum
Tracy Kiss, who fell pregnant at 19, has revealed what she believes are the pros of being a young mother.
The personal trainer and blogger, from Buckinghamshire, believes women who give birth in their teens make BETTER mothers than those in their 30s.
She claims young mums snap back into shape quicker, have more energy and relate more easily to their children, meaning they’re better behaved and happier.
Tracy told Fabulous: “Women who become first-time mums in their teens make better parents than those in their 30s or 40s.
“I believe if I’d been 10 or so years older before becoming a mother then I wouldn’t have the relationship I have with my children now.
“For a start, being older I would have had less energy and therefore less patience.
“I wouldn’t be as enthusiastic to speak to people after months of sleepless nights as I was in my teens.
“My body snapped back to its pre-pregnancy size through fitness post-birth, which in turn gave me the confidence to date and find love again. I’ve never been happier than I am now at the age of 30 with two children.
“If I’d have been alone at 40 with a newborn baby I’d be more tired, less happy with my body, less energetic and far more stressed from the shock of living my life for myself instead of putting others first. Sometimes age and the innocence of ignorance is a good thing.
“As a teen mum I just got on with it, found my feet and became responsible and capable because at the time I didn’t know any different.”
Broody for more
And in a recent YouTube Q&A, she opened up about the possibility of having more kids.
She said: “Do I want more kids? Yes, people think I’m crazy, but I think we definitely want at least two more kids.
The hate made me want to do better, it made me want to show them that I’m going to be the best mum ever
Maddie Lambert-Crowley
“I know I’ve done this crazy switch up; people are like, ‘Oh, Maddie’s the smart Teen Mum, she’s not going and having a bunch more kids right away.’
“But honestly, I want a big family.
“I want to fill my house with love.”
Big Brother star ENGAGED after boyfriend got down on one knee on romantic countryside walk
BIG Brother star Sarah Griffiths has announced she’s ENGAGED after her boyfriend got down on one knee during a romantic countryside walk.
Sarah, 27, shared the happy news on Instagram, posting photos of herself and her fiance Aled Morris celebrating with champagne and showing off her stunning ring.
Big Brother star Sarah Griffiths has announced she’s ENGAGED[/caption]The account manager, who was evicted from the Big Brother house just four days before the November final, fuelled speculation of the proposal on Sunday with a TikTok video.
In the video, she explained that Aled had planned a series of activities for their three year anniversary, including a dog walk, which she suspected was the perfect setting for a proposal.
She said: “I think I might be getting engaged today, no joke.
“It’s our three-year anniversary and Aled has booked loads of stuff, and he never does this.
“The first thing we’re doing is going for a walk, and that might be the ideal time, so hence I’m getting ready for a dog walk.
“I got stick-on nails and put them on last night, just in case for photos. Dog-walking glam in case it happens, fingers crossed!”
Sarah’s premonition proved correct, as she later posted a TikTok video capturing the moment Aled proposed during their dog walk.
The video also showed Sarah sharing the news with loved ones and visiting the house they are building together, which she referred to as their “marital home”.
The engagement announcement was met with a wave of congratulations from her Big Brother co-stars.
Series winner Ali Bromley, wrote, “Congrats Sarah,” while Lily Benson gushed, “BLOODY NORA CONGRATS.”
Rosie Williams, who is in a relationship with fellow housemate Nathan King, commented, “BEST. NEWS. EVER!! So happy for you gorgeous.”
Emma Morgan said “Well, well well this is WONDERFUL news!! I can’t believe Aled is going to make an honest woman of you!! No, I actually can’t. I love you dearly and I’m beyond happy to see you so in love and excited for the future. Here we go nowwwww.”
Speaking before her Big Brother entry last year, she said: “I am posh totty hottie, grew up on a chicken farm, and I think being an egg would be quite a nice life, because you’re either getting smashed or getting laid.”
Sarah added that she saw the show as a way to cut loose one last time before settling down.
She explained: “I’ve got a wonderful partner and we’re going to settle down and have kids.
‘One more crazy thing’
“But I just want to do one more crazy thing before I settle down.
“I want one more experience to be like ‘wow’.”
On what she’ll bring into the famous compound, Sarah said: “I think I’ll bring good vibes, I can bring up the mood and bring people together.
Controversial
“I’m never one to shy away from asking people’s opinions even if it’s controversial.
“I think I’d be a good chair for good conversations, and instigate some good entertainment for us all.”
And asked about what she’s looking forward to, she admitted: “A bit of a rest, to be honest.
“I’m looking forward to not having a phone. Chilling out.
Making strong bonds
“I know from having worked on cruise ships that when you’re with people in an enclosed environment you make the strongest bonds.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting people I would never normally meet living in the country.

Sarah
“And learning from other people, and them learning from me. And taking some life lessons away with me.”
Worst case scenario
Winning the show isn’t important to Sarah.
She explained: “If I’m not to win, the worst case scenario is that I still have an amazing life.
“I would much rather completely be myself and be voted out the first week than pretend to be something I’m not.”
And pressed on what might lead to her receiving nominations, Sarah conceded it would probably be for “being too loud, being annoying and being messy”.

A THRIFTY DIY lover has revealed how she gave her kitchen an epic makeover spending just a little over £100.
According to recent data by HiF Kitchens, the average cost of a mid-range kitchen transformation the UK is around £20,000-£30,000 – but Eilidh Macleod recently proved there’s no need to fork out the eye-watering sum.
One woman revealed her kitchen looked ‘so bad’ she refused to switch the big light on[/caption] The epic makeover, which didn’t include flooring, cost her just £110[/caption]Chuffed with the jaw-dropping results, Eilidh took to Facebook to show the grubby kitchen before the glow-up – and after.
The money-smart DIY enthusiast said that before giving the room the makeover, she ”wouldn’t turn on the big light” as the condition of the kitchen ”was so bad”.
Prior to the epic transformation – which set her back a mere £110 – the white paint on the ceiling was peeling off in huge chunks and the pastel yellow walls also featured a jungle-themed print by the cabinets.
This, she proudly showed off on the popular DIY On A Budget Official page, was replaced with an on-trend bee wallpaper which she had found for just £13.
The intricate wallpaper, which turned out to be a major hit amongst fellow members of the group, fit perfectly with the original grey tiling and minimalist aesthetic.
Another cheap yet effective change was the spruced-up kitchen worktop – instead of spending hundreds on a new one, Eilidh simply covered the surface with a self-adhesive vinyl wrap.
These self-adhesive vinyl wrap films are ideal for covering a whole host of surfaces in the home and workplace, whether that’s furniture updates, arts and crafts, and even TV or film sets.
Not only is this peel-and-stick solution super simple to apply, it’s also easy to wipe clean thanks to the durable and heat resistant material.
Sharing the gorgeous results in a post, the thrifty woman said she had used DC fix in Granite which set her back just £25.
The kitchen worktop complimented the existing cupboards by the walls which she had transformed with a lick of Ronseal Cupboard Paint.
Spending just £50 on the feature, the DIY lover added that one pot of the £50 paint was enough to cover two cupboards, which now looked as good as new.
The remaining money went towards Wicks Silk Emulsion (share Urban Nights) which cost her a tenner, as well as £12 for the stunning Aztec-print rug in the middle.
Eilidh wrote in the post: ”My kitchen was so bad I wouldn’t turn on the big light. Total £110. New flooring will be budget too.”

Four ways to cut your gas bill this winter – including the thermostat secret that will instantly save you £80
IF you’re worried about rising costs and are looking for ways to save cash this season, you’ve come to the right place.
It turns out that many of us are making a few very popular mistakes, which are raking up our annual energy bills.
If you’re looking to save cash on your gas bill, fear not, we’ve got you covered[/caption] Thanks to the experts at EDF Energy, you’ll be able to pocket pounds this winter, with barely any faff involved[/caption] It’s important you don’t heat rooms you’re not using if you want to lower your bills[/caption] And turning your thermostat down is a great place to start[/caption]So if you fancy pocketing some extra pounds, you’ll need to take notes.
According to the experts at EDF Energy, there are four very simple ways you can lower your heating bills, with barely any faff or effort involved.
Not only this, but one thermostat secret will instantly save you £80 – yes, you heard that correctly.
So if you want to take control of your energy and save cash on your gas bill this winter, you’ll need to take notes.
Turn your thermostat down
According to the pros at EDF, the first thing you need to do is turn your thermostat down.
Whilst it almost sounds too simple, a recent study showed that 2.7 million households in the UK are turning their thermostats all the way to 25°C.
If everyone in the country lowered their thermostats, it could add up to a combined saving of £1.4 billion on heating bills, not to mention a huge amount of carbon.
Subsequently, the experts advise the ideal temperature to be somewhere between 18°C and 21°C.
But prepare to be impressed, as the general principle is that for every degree you turn your heating down, you could save around £80 a year – yes, you heard that correctly.
Heat your home only when it needs heating
Not only should you turn your thermostat down, but it’s also important that you only heat your home when it needs heating too.
We’ve all heard the theory that it’s cheaper to leave the heating on all day at a low temperature, but the results are in and according to those at EDF, it’s a very common myth.
It turns out that having the heating on only when you need it is the best way to save energy, so it’s important that you set a timer or use the programme function on your thermostat, so you can set up a schedule that works around your day.
5 ways to keep your house warm in winter
Property expert Joshua Houston shared his tips.
1. Curtains
“Windows are a common place for the outside cold to get into your home, this is because of small gaps that can let in air so always close your curtains as soon as it gets dark,” he said.
This simple method gives you an extra layer of warmth as it can provide a kind of “insulation” between your window and curtain.
2. Rugs
“Your floor is another area of your home where heat can be lost and can make your home feel chilly,” he continued. “You might notice on cold days, that your floor is not nice to walk on due to it freezing your feet.
“Add rugs to areas that don’t already have a carpet, this provides a layer of insulation between your bare floor and the room above.”
3. Check your insulation
Check your pipes, loft space, crawlspaces and underneath floorboards.
“Loose-fill insulation is very good for this, and is a more affordable type of insulation, with a big bag being able to be picked up for around £30,” Joshua explained.
4. Keep your internal doors closed
“Household members often gather in one room in the evening, and this is usually either the kitchen or living room,” Joshua said.
“This means you only have to heat a small area of your home, and closing the doors keeps the heat in and the cold out.”
5. Block drafts
Don’t forget to check cat flaps, chimneys and letterboxes, as they can let in cold air if they aren’t secure.
Whilst you might also be tempted to crank the thermostat right up to warm your house quicker, that’s also another heating myth.
The pros claimed that turning your thermostat up doesn’t change the temperature of the water flowing through your radiators and instead just means the thermostat won’t turn your boiler off until it reaches a higher temperature.
As a result, the experts claimed: “Your heating will simply stay on for longer, using more gas and costing you more money.”
Once you’re warmed up, keep it that way
As well as this, according to the experts at EDF, it’s important that once you’ve warmed up your home, it’s essential you keep it that way.
The pros advised: “Draught-proofing plugs the gaps in your property to help keep warm air in and cold air out.
“If there’s cold air coming in under your front door, a rolled up towel or blanket will do the trick.”
Not only this, but keeping draughts out through your letterbox is also key and even covering a small key hole will help too.
Don’t heat the rooms you’re not using
Again, it may seem simple, but the experts have shared an incredibly easy way to cut down your gas bill – and it’s to avoid heating rooms you aren’t using.
So if you’ve got a spare room you barely ever go in, why waste energy heating it?
The experts stressed the importance of turning radiators down (or off completely), which will mean you use less energy heating a room you rarely use (and more cash in your pocket as a result).
Cheap gadgets to help you stay warm
MARTIN Lewis' MoneySavingExpert shared six gadgets that can help you keep the heating off but stay warm.
Heating “the human not the home” means you warm yourself instead of turning on the heating and heating the whole house.
This can save money on your heating bill and means you don’t have to sit in the cold.
