Love Island’s Georgia Steel strips to sheer lingerie for sizzling shoot

GEORGIA Steel stripped to a bridal-inspired lace bodysuit and matching robe as she posed for a series of glam Instagram snaps.

The ITV2 show star, 27 – who appeared in both Love Island’s main version and All Stars spin-off – clutched a bouquet of white roses in the sultry snaps.

Georgia left her brunette locks in loose waves over her shoulder and kept her make-up natural, glancing to one side for one shot before zooming in on the semi-sheer detail of her one-piece.

In her thought-provoking social media caption, she put: “Simplicity is key always.”

One fan was quick to gush: “Beauty.”

Another posted: “So pretty Georgia!!” as a third posted: “Breathtaking.”

One then put: “Well said.”

It came just weeks after she stripped to red lingerie for another sizzling shoot.

FRESH START

Yet after failing to find lasting love on the reality series, Georgia has embarked on a happy chapter with her new footballer boyfriend.

Away from her semi-naked selfies, she has shared happy moments from her new relationship with Harry Clarke, 24.

The smitten couple were seen cosying up together on a beach in one sweet snap.

Sheffield United star Harry wrapped an arm around Georgia’s waist, who looked great in a plunging black dress with her back to the sea.

Georgia and Harry’s romance was revealed in September when they were spotted flirting at a health club.

Other than her short fling last year with Love Island All Stars co-star Toby Aromolaran, it’s the first time Georgia has gone public with a romantic partner since her “traumatic” relationship with conman  Medi Abalimba.

The one-time Derby County player – who Georgia met in a club – was jailed in 2014 for pretending to be ex-Chelsea footballer Gael Kakuta.

During her time with Abalimba, Georgia was robbed of £160k of her savings.

Love Island winners - where they are now

EVERY year Love Island opens its doors to more sexy Islanders who are hoping for a holiday romance that could turn into more.

2025 – The second series of All Stars saw Gabby Allen and Case O’Gorman scoop the crown. STATUS: Still together.

2017 – Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies had lots of ups and downs in the villa but went on to win. STATUS: Broken up.

2016 – Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were together from the start of the series, and since they won the show they’ve had two kids and are married. STATUS: Still together.

2015 – Despite poor Jess Hayes being Max Morley’s second choice on the show, they did win – but they didn’t last as a couple. STATUS: Broken up.

She previously told us: “Because I’m a good person, if I see a broken person or a person upset, I really like to fix it.

“I thought I could fix him and accept his past and everything. But I didn’t understand how bad his past was.

“I had no idea of how capable he was, because I would never be with someone who could hurt people like that. The stories kept coming out and things kept getting worse.”

Abalimba admitted 15 counts of fraud between January 1, 2021, and March 1, 2021, and was jailed for 50 months.

Emma Raducanu’s Wimbledon hopes almost derailed by flying champagne cork in bizarre incident

EMMA RADUCANU’S Wimbledon hopes were almost derailed by a flying champagne cork.

The bizarre incident occurred in her first round win over fellow Brit Mimi Xu, 17.

Raducanu, 22, beat the South Wales schoolgirl 6-3 6-3 in a competitive game.

However, the US Open winner nearly fell victim to a stray champagne cork from the crowd.

One excited punter got carried away while opening the bottle of bubbly, sending the cork flying onto the court.

It narrowly missed Raducanu but did not put the ace off her stride.

She later poked fun at the incident after sealing victory.

Raducanu said: “I’m glad people were having fun today. I saw a champagne cork fly onto the court.

“I’m glad you guys are having a good time. Cheers to you.”

Raducanu is now set to play Marketa Vondrousova in the second round tomorrow.

Also taking place on Wednesday is the draw for the mixed doubles.

Raducanu will link up with SW19 champion Carlos Alcaraz for the adventure amid swirling reports of a blossoming romance.

Both players have denied there’s anything happening though, with Raducanu previously explaining: “We’re just good friends.”

Meanwhile, Alcaraz lifted the lid on their tactical plan for the mixed doubles by admitting Raducanu will take charge on the court.

He said: “I’m just gonna serve and I’m gonna pull myself away and I let her play.

“She will cover a lot of the court. She will be the boss! I will do whatever she wants me to do.”

Wimbledon star quit tennis at 23 for gruelling work as a fencer before returning to sport and finding love with Brit ace

WHEN Alex Bolt quit tennis aged just 23, he would never have imagined making four appearances at Wimbledon.

Within days of hanging up his racquet, the Aussie, now 32, joined his brother-in-law’s fencing business and began hard graft in the sweltering Southern Australian heat.

After a flurry of defeats against lower-ranked players, Bolt decided to call it quits after “hating his time on the court” in March 2016.

Hours after an emotional farewell chat with his then-coach Simon Rea, Bolt joined the family business and set his alarm clock for 5:30am to make a 45-minute drive to his new fencing job.

In 2020, he told ATP Tour: “Let me tell you, that was work. Putting up retaining walls. Digging holes. Sticking posts in the ground. Cementing. I didn’t know much of anything about what I was doing, but I was doing it.

“Those were long, hot days. It can get pretty hot out on a tennis court, but this was rough. I was drained to say the least. Those 5:30 wake-up calls? My excitement was gone after Day 2. That was not fun at all.”

Just to rub salt in the wounds, one of his first jobs was around basketball and tennis courts at a primary school.

After grinding out his new job for a few months, Bolt was persuaded to buy a pair of boots and play in a local Aussie Rules team called the Mypolonga Tigers, which he says “helped him regain his happiness”.

He said: “It was probably a couple months after that when I started missing tennis. I didn’t think I’d ever pick up a racquet. But I wasn’t totally out of touch. I’d made some great mates with the Aussie boys, and was still in group chats with them.”

Bolt then thought ‘that could’ve been me’ when he saw his mate Jordan Thompson crack the Top 100 and win four ATP Challenger Tour events later in 2016.

After hesitating for a while, Bolt got a random call from tennis coach Todd Langman, who was working with his best pal Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Todd saw a picture Bolt posted on Facebook at the end of the Aussie Rules season and gave him a call – and Bolt didn’t need much persuading.

After nine months away from the court, Bolt’s first day back was the 2016 AFL Grand Final. He was massively out of shape and was told to start from scratch.

Todd even made Bolt play against young kids, telling him to not back down and “to give everything he had”.

He made his official return to action at a Challenger in Adelaide at the start of 2017, with his Aussie Rules pals coming out to cheer him on while he made the main draw and lost in the second round.

Bolt, who is now dating British tennis ace Katie Swan, was then given a wild card into Australian Open qualies in 2017.

He said: “It was all such a blur. Before I knew it, I was beating Julien Benneteau in the final round to reach the main draw of a Slam for the first time.

Despite losing to Yoshihito Nishioka in the first round, Bolt finished the year with a singles ranking of No. 192 – an improvement of almost 400 places from the end of 2016.

He also had a handy year on the doubles circuit, making five Challenger finals with three victories to finish the season ranked No. 86, a career high doubles ranking.

Before his best singles result in a third round at the Australian Open in 2019, Bolt booked his first Wimbledon main draw debut in 2018 after beating best friend Kokkinakis.

Fast forward seven years and Bolt, currently No.194 in the world, has beaten 19-year-old Spaniard Martin Landaluce in the final round of qualifying to reach the main draw of Wimbledon for the fourth time.

He takes on 10th seed Ben Shelton today in the first round.

Meanwhile, girlfriend Swan’s dream of returning to Wimbledon was crushed in the first qualifying round in a tight defeat to Leyre Romero Gormaz 7-6(2), 7-6(6).

It was only as recently as 2023 that Swan was going toe-to-toe with Katie Boulter for the British No.1 ranking, before Emma Raducanu won it back last month.

Amazingly, Swan, 26, is not the only British tennis player called Katie in a relationship with an Aussie called Alex, with Boulter dating world No.11 Alex De Minaur.

As well as representing Australia in Davis Cup, Bolt has been ranked as high as world No.125 in singles and peaked at world No.81 in doubles.

Elbow surgery in 2022 provided a slight setback, forcing Bolt out of competition for six months.

In 2024, Bolt won back-to-back singles titles at the Swan Hill Tennis International, an ITF 25 grass-court event.

Football chairman Chris Wright held tragic wife Debra in his arms as she lay dying after jet ski crash in Costa del Sol

A BRIT woman killed in a jet ski and speedboat crash on a Costa del Sol beach spent her last moments in her husband’s arms, he has revealed.

Debra Wright, 47, was a mum of four and “the glue” of the family, said her heartbroken husband Chris, chairman of Ashton Town FC.

‘Our family will never be the same,’ says her husband Chris Wright[/caption]

Primary school teaching assistant Debra tragically died on Saturday evening when a speedboat crashed into the jet ski that she was riding with Chris at Los Toros beach in Manilva – just west of Estepona.

Police said the speedboat was driven by a friend of the couple’s, who failed a breath test after the horror crash.

Chris Wright, 52, has told how he swam to his wife after the crash to “hold her in my arms until she passed away”.

He said: “My darling wife was a 47-year-old mother of four wonderful sons, Stuart, Jack, Josh and Leon and a nanny to seven beautiful grandchildren.

“She was an incredible sister and doting daughter.

“She was our compass, the glue to bind the family, an amazing woman whose glow would fill any room.

“She was so enigmatic, inspirational and loving. Our family will never be the same.”

Debra’s son Stuart McDonald shared a moving tribute on social media, writing: “MUM… I never knew how much I needed someone until now, I’m so sorry that I didn’t tell you just how much I loved you every single day. You meant the world to me.”

He added: “You know I was never one for a Facebook post, but this is just for you.

“Sleep tight Mum, I miss you so much. Life will never be the same without you.”

Son Leon Wright wrote in a tribute of his own: “Words can’t describe how much I’m missing you right now.

“You were the life and soul of every party, I am so happy to be called your son and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be my Mum.”

Police said yesterday that the speedboat driver had been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and an alcohol-related offence after failing a breath test.

Local outlets, including Diario Sur, say the reading the breath test gave was not a high one.

He was reportedly released on bail after a behind-closed-doors court hearing on Sunday, with the investigation still ongoing.

He has not been named or formally charged with any offence at this stage.

Ashton Town FC, which plays in the North West Counties League Division One North, wrote on Monday: “It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that on behalf of Ashton Town FC we announce the tragic death of Debra Wright, the wife of Chris our Chairman who was tragically killed whilst on holiday in Spain on Saturday evening.

“Our family are in mourning at this sad time and we ask for time for Chris and his family and everyone at the club to be able to start to come to terms with this tragedy.

“RIP Debra, fly high sweetheart x.”

Friend Emma Fisher said: “Our beautiful friend, we will miss you so much. Our ladies lunch will never ever be the same without you.

“To our Debra Wright rip with the angels. The world has lost such a beautiful soul and I will miss your gorgeous smile. Taken far too soon.”
