Heartbroken mum & sister read tributes on emotional visit to school where boy, 15, ‘was knifed to death’

The tragic teenager was stabbed at All Saints Catholic School in Granville Road just after midday on Monday.

Horrified pupils watched on when he was knifed three times in a school courtyard yesterday.
Teachers raced to give emergency first aid as the school was put in
lockdown and an air ambulance flew in.
The lad was taken to hospital but he died soon after arrival.
A 15-year-old pupil was detained by police and taken into custody.
He was last night being quizzed on suspicion of murder.
The stabbing happened at 12.17pm as pupils moved between classes.
It was claimed the pair had exchanged threatening messages before the incident.
And it came after the school went into lockdown last Wednesday
after a pupil was alleged to have taken a blade in.
His sister Sophie said: “My heart is broken into a million pieces.”
She posted on Facebook: “I love you so much Harvey… Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight cos I wish I could.”
Harvey’s grieving mother Caroline displayed photos of her son on TikTok and wrote: “No words.”
One furious parent said: “How can the school have allowed this to happen today?”
Will the Sheffield suspect be named?
By Holly Christodoulou, Digital Court Editor
USUALLY, a suspect who is arrested over a crime will not be named as the media is at risk of Contempt of Court.
This means that legally, anything that is published could cause a substantial risk of prejudice in case of a trial further down the line.
It is only in very rare cases that those in police custody will be identified as some suspects could later find themselves in the clear, which then causes a defamation risk.
Once proceedings become “active” – i.e. someone is charged – the police or the Crown Prosecution Service will name the suspect and release their age and address.
This will also appear on charge sheets and be heard in open court throughout the case.
However, with the Sheffield school stabbing, the boy held by police is only aged 15.
This means that even from the point of a charge – proceedings being active – we would not be able to name him.
He is protected under section 49 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933.
This applies to any defendants who are aged under 18 and means their identity cannot be revealed.
Once they turn 18, unless any special reporting restrictions are placed by a judge, they can be named.
In some circumstances, when a person is found guilty or admits their crime, they may be unmasked in court regardless of their age.
This will sometimes happen pre-conviction too as in the case of Axel Rudakubana.
He was 17 at the point of his first court appearance but a judge lifted the reporting restriction as he was six days from his 18th birthday anyway.
In an update today, South Yorkshire Police warned communities “avoid online speculation” regarding the identity of the suspect.
A statement added: “At the heart of this devastation is a grieving family and they deserve respect and privacy during this difficult time.”
Sheffield Heeley Labour MP Louise Haigh said: “Serious questions will have to be answered.”
A fellow pupil paid tribute to the killed teenager.

The 17-year-old said: “He was such a lovely lad, he was cheeky, but was lovely.
“He would make your day better hearing him down that hallway. Teachers loved him, students loved him, everyone loved him.”
Describing the ordeal as “stressful” one pupil, 14, spoke after returning to the scene with her mum to lay flowers.
She said she was kept in the hall for more than three hours as police swarmed in.
Talking as she stood next to her mum, she said: “Some people were in the sports hall, some people in different classrooms.
“It was the beginning of lunch about 12.10. We got kind of of bored in there, I was in the hall and it was so hot in there because all the radiators were on.
“It’s hard to believe, it was stressful.”
A neighbour of the victim, standing beside a shrine of flowers and
candles outside his family home, said: “He went to school this morning and has not come home.
“He always seemed to have a smile on his face. So sad.”
Another neighbour said: “He and his dad were huge Sheffield United
fans. It is just too awful for words.”
'Avoid online speculation', South Yorkshire Police warns
A spokesman for the force said: “We are urging our communities to avoid online speculation and identifying anyone who they believe to be involved in the tragic incident at All Saints Catholic High School yesterday (Monday, February 3) to ensure justice can be secured for the victim and his family.
“Identifying a suspect can prejudice court proceedings and risk a fair and accurate trial.
“At the heart of this devastation is a grieving family and they deserve respect and privacy during this difficult time.
“We will take action against anyone who poses a risk to proceedings. Please consider what you share online and the implications.”
A Sheffield United Football Club spokesperson said: “All at Sheffield United were saddened to learn of the passing of Harvey, our deepest condolences are offered to his family and friends at this difficult time.
“We share the shock and distress of the community following this tragic incident and appreciate that discussions are underway with regards to tributes to remember Harvey.”
South Yorkshire Police’s Assistant Chief Constable Lindsey Butterfield
said: “We know that what has happened will cause significant distress
and concern.
“Our officers will remain on scene and in the local area to offer reassurance to parents, staff and local residents as our
investigation continues.”
South Yorkshire mayor Oliver Coppard said: “This morning a
teenage boy went to school like thousands of others across South Yorkshire but won’t come home.
“A young man who was a member of our community, with his
whole life ahead of him.
“My love, my thoughts and my prayers are with his family and friends, and the whole community of All Saints Catholic High School.”
PM Sir Keir Starmer said: “My heart goes out to the family and
loved ones of the boy, the staff and students at the school, and the
entire community of Sheffield.
“They are grieving the needless loss of a young life and the nation mourns with them.
“Our schools should be places of safety and learning, not violence and fear.
“Tonight a young boy should be returning to the love and safety of
his family.
“We stand and work together against the devastating consequences of knife crime, so no more families know this tragic loss.”

EMMERDALE has aired perhaps its most harrowing episode ever – with a villager suffering a tragic stillbirth and their pal being stabbed to death.
A special instalment revealed April Windsor’s (Amelia Flanagan) story since vanishing on Christmas Day.
Emmerdale fans learned Amelia Winsdor’s tragic story since Christmas[/caption] The teenager fell in with a crowd of young homeless people[/caption] April found a mentor in Becca, a member of the group[/caption]Viewers learned she hitched a lift in a stranger’s car and ended up at a hotel in Leeds.
April called several friends, in hope of a place to stay, but all turned her down.
Having run out of money, she had to sleep outside and was increasingly unsafe.
An opportunistic older man targeted April, but a boy named Dylan (Fred Kettle) intervened and saw him off.
Dylan brought her to a run-down building, where they met up with his friend Becca (Becca Ashton).
The two later became April’s protectors upon realising that she is pregnant.
Meanwhile, the episode explored the devastating impact of homelessness.
At one point, April and Becca begged members of the public for change, to little success.
An obnoxious woman later accused April of feigning her situation, due the trainers she had on.
When a sly thief swiped their scarcely remaining cash, Becca swiftly gave chase.
In a tragic twist, April ultimately found her new friend stabbed in the street.
Both April and Dylan were left heartbroken by Becca’s death – but it didn’t end there.
She soon discovered that Dylan was making money though sex work and refused to accept cash from him.
A police raid later saw Dylan arrested while April fled, now left with nowhere to go.
In harrowing scenes, she was doubled over in pain while passers-by ignored her pleas for help.
April then gave birth to her stillborn baby in an dirty public toilet – and apologised over and over.
The episode ended with a defeated, weary April lying alone on a park bench.
Taking to X, a viewer wrote: “The @emmerdale April special, is gut wrenching, Amelia Flanagan is an absolute credit to the show, so much talent for such a young actress, she deserves many awards for this #Emmerdale.”

KANYE West insisted he is proud of his wife Bianca Censori for setting a “world record” with her invisible Grammys dress.
Bianca, 30, shocked onlookers and awards show viewers after she went nude in a completely see-through mesh dress at the prestigious event on Sunday.

The musician then revealed the number of times Bianca’s Grammys outfit was searched, which shot up as the night progressed.
The Flashing Light singer then posted a list of the top celebrities who had been trending since the star-studded event.
Bianca was at the top with over five million searches, followed by Pink Pony Club singer Chappelle Road and Benson Boone.
At the bottom of his list was Album of the Year winner Beyonce, with around a million searches.
Kanye, who was once very close friends with Beyonce and her rapper titan husband Jay-Z, appeared to be dissing the songstress by including her in those trends, and pointing to the fact that Bianca had trumped them all.
Alongside a clip of Bianca working out in a black leotard, Kanye wrote: “The most Googled person on earth wearing YZY women’s.”
In a now deleted post, Kanye also wrote: “For clarity, February 4th 2025, my wife is the most Googled person on the planet called earth.”
He added: “We beat the Grammies.”
It comes after The U.S. Sun revealed that Kanye and Bianca were rumored to have been kicked out of the Grammys.
Kanye and Bianca “were not believed to have been officially invited to the Grammys. They’ve both since been kicked out,” the source said.
However, a second source close to Kanye insisted they “absolutely had tickets” since he was nominated for Best Rap Song and only ever planned to get photographed and leave.
Kanye was reportedly seen being escorted out by police after walking the red carpet, leading many to believe it was because of Bianca’s choice of clothing, or lack thereof.
“He doesn’t care [that he was kicked out]. He went to get photographed on the carpet and is now having a watch party,” a third insider told The U.S. Sun.
He is also hosting his own after-party with pal Justin LaBoy at a former market in East Los Angeles, with a team setting up hours ahead of the doors opening at 10 pm.
Kanye and Bianca were spotted leaving the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles soon after creating chaos on the carpet.
In an exchange on the red carpet, Kayne was seen ‘commanding’ Bianca in comments which were later revealed by a lipreader.
Expert Nicola Hickling revealed what the rapper said to Bianca moments before she dropped her fur coat.
Moments after the scenes, Bianca slipped back into her coat as they quietly left the premises in a silver car as other stars piled into the venue.
The official dress code for the venue is “proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times.”
The website adds, “We reserve the right to deny entry to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate.”
BIANCA DARES TO BARE
At first, Bianca covered herself in a big black fur coat as she made her way onto the carpet.
Then, she turned her back on the photographers and removed the coat slowly.
She showed off her bare butt as the paparazzi could be heard gasping and saying, “Wow, what a reveal!”
Bianca then turned and faced them directly, maintaining a cool expression as they snapped photos of her bare body.
Her bare chest and private parts could be seen fully exposed as just the completely see-through piece of fabric covered her body.
‘WORST THING EVER’
Viewers and commenters online were immediately shocked by the look.
“This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen,” one wrote.
“This is bad… actually, this might even be criminal,” another viewer said.
“How is she allowed in public? There are kids around, and she should be mortified,” a third critic commented.
“Ye will do anything for attention. No one cares about him anymore and this is what he pulls. Sad,” one more noted.
Despite the backlash, Kanye was proud of the look.
He posted a photo of the dress on Instagram and wrote, “Custom Couture Grammy dress for the most beautiful woman ever My love my best friend My wife.”
He also shared 13 photos of his nearly naked wife in the instantly infamous dress to X.
Bianca also posted a photo of herself in the dress with Kanye kissing her neck.
