Burton Albion’s home match against Blackpool will no longer be shown on Feb 6[/caption]
The broadcaster has instead opted to show Tottenham vs Liverpool[/caption]
The Premier League Darts also starts on the same evening[/caption]
The two sides were set to meet on Thursday, February 6 at 8pm in a League One fixture.
The match was set to be played at the Pirelli Stadium with Burton currently struggling near the relegation zone.
However, the match has now been rescheduled for Saturday, February 8 and will kick off at 3pm.
The decision was made as Sky Sports have opted to show other events instead.
The Carabao Cup semi-final second leg between Liverpool and Tottenham and the Premier League Darts first night are both set for that date.
This means the match will no longer be broadcast on television for fans.
Blackpool confirmed the change with a statement in which it claimed the late move was “not ideal”.
It read: “The Seasiders match against the Brewers at the Pirelli Stadium will now be played on Saturday 8 February, kick-off 3pm.

“The Sky Bet League One fixture was originally scheduled to be played on Thursday 6 February, with kick-off at 8pm. This was due to Sky Sports choosing the fixture to be broadcasted live on Sky Sports Football.
“However, with other sporting events now taking place on the same night, Sky Sports will now no longer televise the fixture between Pool and the Brewers.
“Whilst moving the fixture at this late stage isn’t ideal, the club’s number one priority is ensuring as many fans can attend as possible and the club alongside Burton Albion have agreed moving the fixture back to Saturday at 3pm will provide more fans with the opportunity to attend the game.
“The Ccub would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and anyone who cannot attend the new date will be able to claim a full refund from the Ticket Office.”
Fans were not happy with the late change as the reacted on social media.
One blasted: “Re-arranged things. Sorted work for Thursday. Booked something else for Saturday. Looks like I’m missing this one.”
A second commented: “Sky messing fans up again.”
A third wrote: “Rearranged everything so now I’m missing this, such a joke.”

PRINCESS Kate has been “forever changed” by her cancer treatment, according to a royal expert.
In 2024, the Princess of Wales, 43, underwent chemotherapy but she has now revealed she is in remission following her cancer battle.
The Princess of Wales has shared that she is now in remission following her cancer treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London[/caption]
The Princess of Wales bravely spoke about her chemotherapy in 2024[/caption]
Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent Katie Nicholl shared on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show: “She did a lot of running up and down the country, juggling that with the three children doing the overseas tours.
“People would be quite surprised to learn just how hands on William and Catherine are as parents.
“And I think this is just, well, it’s a wake up call, isn’t it?
“This is a real reality check for her.
“And so I think it’s a case of what Kensington Palace are describing as a very gradual return to work that’s very much on her terms.
The mum-of-three has now finished her chemotherapy and met health carers to personally “show her gratitude”.
Kate also asked patients about details of their treatment, trials, wellbeing, and asked after their families.
Speaking of the visit, Katie told show host Bronte Coy: “I think it was deeply significant that she chose going to the place where we now know she was treated for her own cancer, to mark that first official solo engagement, the first in over a year.
“So it was poignant. It was obviously important.
“And I think what we’re seeing her do is use that unique spotlight that she has to put it on a really important cause.
“Cancer will affect one in two of us.
“And I think the royals have done great work in a very short space of time in terms of breaking down the stigma that I think is still attached to this disease.”

The message was shared in a heartwarming family video released by Kensington Palace[/caption]
Royal cancer battles
Both King Charles and Princess Kate have been open about their cancer struggles in the last 12 months.
King Charles’ cancer ordeal began in January when he revealed he needed a corrective procedure for an enlarged prostate.
The King was then diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in February following prostate surgery.
While he is “not yet out of the woods”, according to those in his inner circle, they add there is “great optimism” and treatment has gone “better than anyone would have thought”.

At the time, Kate had been absent from official events following major abdominal surgery in January.
The Sun revealed Kate has now planned a “gradual return” to front-line duties with royal fans warned not to expect the same “volume of work” as before her health crisis.

Kate said in a statement: “It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery.
“As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.
“I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”

Kate’s big year ahead
Royal expert Kate claims 2025 is set to be a “big year” for the royal family.
She continued: “I think she’s [Kate’s] going to cherry pick quite carefully the engagements that she wants to be at.
“She will have a new perspective on life now her priority is her children.
“Always has been.
Prince William and Princess Kate are said to be very ‘hands on’ as parents[/caption]
“It’s always come before anything else, and her health and those things will come first before anything else.
“But she is incredibly dutiful. She’s absolutely dedicated to the job.
“I think she will resume full time royal duties, but we have to remember, it’s only been a year.

Katie NichollVanity Fair’s royal correspondent
“She’s still in the very early stages of her remission, and we need her.
“That’s what I think the past 12 months have shown us.
“So we need to give her that time and space to make a full recovery, and so let’s just be patient, manage expectations.”
Kate’s upcoming diary
One event that we are likely to see Princess Kate attend is the 2025 Bafta Awards in February, according to reports.
According to the Mail, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) organisers are “pulling out all the stops” so Kate can return this year.
The Princess of Wales missed the 2024 event due to her health struggles, and Prince William walked the red carpet solo.

Katie added: “She [Kate] always lights up that red carpet, doesn’t she, when she attends.
“I think it’s more likely that we’re going to see her really use that energy and focus her efforts on her Early Years [project].”
The royal expert didn’t rule out the possibility of the Prince and Princess of Wales doing a royal tour this year.
Katie added: “I think there’s every chance that we might see a tour that would be wonderful if we did, if she’s well enough to do that.
“I don’t think it’s going to be anything long haul, but there’s every chance they might be able to do a short haul tour.
“And I think we’ve seen that with the King. How important that visibility is.”
Princess Kate's New Year ski trip holiday
PRINCESS Kate enjoyed a ‘relaxing’ skiing holiday with the family as she takes a step forward on her road to recovery it has been revealed.
The Princess of Wales was joined by Prince William and their children George, Charlotte and Louis for a break in the Alps over New Year.
It is believed that the couple were joined by members of the Middleton family, including Kate’s brother James Middleton and his wife Alizee, where they were spotted enjoying hot drinks and a meal at a popular local restaurant.
A member of staff at the restaurant told the Mail: “’It was lovely to see Kate relaxing and enjoying herself.
“They looked like a normal English family, and a lot of people didn’t recognise them. It was not the first time we had seen them.”
They added that Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton was also a frequent visitor.

YouTube, an online video platform available on the Amazon Fire Stick, has come to rival fellow streaming services with their wide range of films, shows and content.

That has left a gap in the market for cheaper online which YouTube has moved to fill.
YouTube hopes to do this by offering a wider range of free films.
Thanks to a partnership with Warner Bros, it has announced that 16 of Hollywood’s biggest movies will now be free to watch.
The huge list of films includes movies made right from the mid-1980s until the late 2000s.
Although it hasn’t included any modern pictures in the deal, one of the films is a Tom Hanks classic.

Its UK site offers classic episodes of favourites including Mr Bean and Pointless, as well as some of the biggest British films.
Plex is available on any device, but is particularly popular with Amazon Fire Stick users.
The service had a recent overhaul which made navigation even easier, in an effort to have a “seamless interface”.

ONE of the highest infinity pools in the western Europe is found in a London hotel – with some of the best views in the country.
Located inside the Shard, one of London’s most well-known landmarks, lies the Shangri-La Hotel.
The pool is heated with a server dishing up food and drink[/caption]
The highest infinity pool is found inside the Shard, the country’s tallest building[/caption]
The five-star hotel sits between floors 34 to 52, and it happens to be home to the London SkyPool Serenity.
Set on the 52nd floor, the Sky Pool is the highest swimming pool in London and Western Europe.
The pool isn’t just for hotel guests because visitors can book a slot to use the Sky Pool and Sky Sauna.
This includes the use of the infinity pool which has views over the city and the River Thames, although guests do have to book slots before visiting.
It’s heated too, so it’s the best place to warm up in when London is wet and windy.
There are kid-sessions as well, with two hours in the morning and afternon.
To access the infinity pool, guests who aren’t staying at the hotel will need to buy a Skypass, which costs an eye-watering £125 per person.
While the price is a bit of a sting, the cost of a Skypass includes £50 credit to use at the hotel restaurant.
The hefty price tag is probably worth it for the view, as it’s been praised by most visitors on TripAdvisor.
One person wrote: “We managed to have 2 swims in the highest pool in England. Where else can you swim in the clouds.”
Another person added: “The view from the pool and sauna is unmatched!”
As guests swim they’ll be able to take in views across London like Battersea, the London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge and Canary Wharf.
One visitor described the pool as an “unbeatable way to get a bird’s-eye look over London”.
There are other facilities inside the Shangri-La, including the Ting Restaurant, which serves British grub with an Asian influence.
Meanwhile, there’s also GŎNG – the highest hotel bar in London.
The hotel is also home to a range of rooms and suites, with Sun Online Travel finding overnight stays from £570.
Brits who understandably can’t fork out hundreds to stay overnight at the Shangri-la Hotel can still visit the Shard of a fraction of the price.
The Shard is the tallest building in the UK and is visible from 50 miles away.
Standing over London Bridge, tourists can book to visit the viewing platform on the 72nd floor.
The observation area opened over a decade ago on February 2013,
The observation deck on the 72nd floor opened to the public in February 2013, welcoming 900,000 visitors in its first year alone.
Tickets to the Shard viewing platform start from £32 per person and should be booked in advance online.
Five new water attractions opening in the UK
Therme Manchester will have 25 swimming pools, 25 water slides and an indoor beach.
Modern Surf Manchester will be a surfing lagoon offering lessons to both beginners and experts.
Chessington World of Adventures Waterpark is set to have wave, infinity and spa pools as well as waterslides and cabanas.
The Cove Resort, Southport is likely to have a water lagoon and a thermal spa with steam rooms and saunas.
The Seahive, Deal plans to be the “surfing wellness resort” in the UK.
And the Shard might not be the tallest for long though, with a new London skyscraper set to be just as tall.
Meanwhile, the Sun’s Head of Travel (Digital) Caroline McGuire thinks she’s found themost child-friendly pub in London, with a bowling alley and a huge slide.
Visitors have raved about the views, calling them spectacular[/caption]
