Stunning Love Island star in advanced talks to enter All Stars villa as bombshell – and she has secret scores to settle

A STUNNING Love Island beauty is in advanced talks with ITV to jet out to South Africa as an All Stars bombshell.

Abi Moores, 26, who rose to fame on the tenth series of the hit ITV dating show could be the next star to walk through the villa doors.

The reality TV star is understood to have been involved in ongoing conversations with bosses who are keen to get her into the villa as the show reaches its halfway point.

A return to the villa could also prove dramatic with the blonde bombshell having a secret connection to one of the programme’s current All Stars that would send shockwaves throughout the Cape Town abode.

A source told The Sun: “Love Island bosses have been in talks with Abi about her signing up for the show.

“Nothing has been sealed just yet but conversations are ongoing as they think she’d be perfect to shake-up the villa at the halfway point.

“She was one of the stand-out stars from her series thanks to her messy love triangle drama and she’s guaranteed entertainment.

“Abi even has a hidden connection to one of the show’s current All Stars which could rock one steady couple if she were to head into the villa and secrets spilled out.”

The Sun understands Abi enjoyed a secret date with one of the current Islanders just weeks before they flew out to take part in the programme.

Abi was involved in a messy love triangle during her first stint on the programme after forming a connection with Mitchell Taylor.

It was here that the Sheffield lad gained the nickname Messy Mitch after he began forming a connection with fellow show beauty Ella Barnes on the side.

It resulted in an explosive love triangle that dominated the show with Abi left fuming when Mitch “mugged her off” by re-coupling with Ella shortly before the show’s final.

The news of Abi’s Love Island talks comes just days after she sparked speculation among fans after sharing a cryptic TikTok video.

In the clip, she wrote over the video: “When you realise he probably took you on a date because your an Islander.”

Following dramatic scenes on the ITV2 show in which Luca Bish accused Scott Thomas of “speaking to Islanders” ahead of entering the villa in an explosive argument, it did not take long for fans to have their say on Abi’s cryptic video.

One fan commented: “Bet this is about SCOTT!!!”

Whilst another penned: “Omg are you one of the girls @scott.thomas dated before all stars!!!!!!!

Last night, three more Islanders were dumped from the villa after Maya Jama forced two show stars to make a brutal decision.

The two most popular stars, Luca and Elma Pazar, had to pick three out of the four least voted contestants to kick out of the villa.

The duo opted to choose current couple Kaz Crossley and Montel McKenzie as well as Nas Majeed.

He took the Grade 3 Limestone Lad with ease last weekend for top owners Joe and Marie Donnelly, who also own State Man, among a whole host of other top class runners.

Still just five, talk of a potential tilt at the Champion Hurdle had been mooted for Anzadam, who’s won all four of his career races.

But Mullins isn’t so sure, despite him being as short as 8-1.

He thinks waiting for Aintree and a race over a new trip entirely may be the best call, especially with State Man likely to take on Constitution Hill at Cheltenham.

Speaking after Anzadam’s latest win, Mullins said: “That was a very good performance.

“Paul (Townend, jockey) gave him a squeeze after the last and he quickened away nicely. There was no sign of him stopping.

“He has a good engine and is climbing up the tree nicely. He could be anything.

“He’s in the Champion Hurdle but maybe we should wait for Aintree. I’m thinking whether we should wait for the 2m4f Grade 1 there instead.

“That looks appealing and he’s still only five.

“The jump he put in at the third last I thought was extraordinary and showed me that we’ll have no trouble going novice chasing with him when we want.

“We’ll see how far we can go with hurdling and see what his owners would like to do.”

This weekend should tell us more about Mullins’ pecking order for the Champion Hurdle.

State Man is the defending champ but he was thrashed by Brighterdaysahead when last seen.

While Lossiemouth was humbled by Nicky Henderson’s stable star in the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton.

Both Lossiemouth and State Man are due to contest the Irish Champion Hurdle, while Brighterdaysahead appears set to go to the Mares’ Hurdle at Cheltenham and will swerve the Dublin Racing Festival altogether.

Inside Michael Baggott’s hospital hell as he begged for help and told fans he was ‘dying of thirst’ before shock death

BBC antiques expert Michael Baggott revealed his hospital hell in grim detail just weeks before his tragic death.

The Flog It! anchor, 65, sadly passed away on Tuesday following a heart attack.

The antique silver expert claimed he had been ‘dying of thirst’ while in the stroke ward

A statement posted on social media announced the tragedy – and sparked a slew of messages of condolence from loyal BBC show fans.

Michael, an expertise in antique silver, smallwork, boxes, early spoons, provincial and continental silver, suffered a stroke in October last year and shared a worrying video last month claiming he was “dying of thirst.”

At the time, he took to social media to reach out to fans from his hospital bed.

Michael was seen in his hospital gown as he lay back on a white pillow

The TV star – who said he had been in bed for five weeks at the time – claimed he had hardly been given any water by hospital staff.

Almost whispering, the expert said: “It’s been a week now and I’ve been able to take fluids for two days. I was left without any water at all and have become badly dehydrated.

“For the last three days, I’ve been given a litre of water, which has been insufficient to stop me being dehydrated.

“The gaps between being given water have been 15 hours, 17 hours with no water, 12 hours with no water and currently 15 hours with no water intravenous.”

“I’m dying of thirst in a British NHS hospital and no one seems prepared to do anything about it.”

Michael’s fans were quick to rush to show their support, with some even turning up at the Good Hope Hospital in Birmingham to try to offer support.

The Sun contacted Good Hope Hospital for comment at the time.

SAD PASSING

A statement on the television star’s social media page announced his passing weeks after the ordeal.

It read: “Heartbroken to share that Michael died yesterday in hospital of a heart attack following a stroke in October.

“He was a dearly loved son, brother, nephew and uncle who will be deeply and profoundly missed.

“There will be a memorial service in the coming weeks, the details of which will be shared here.”

Sadly his show Flog It! was dramatically axed by Beeb bosses in 2018 to make way for a “new generation” of daytime programming.

Meanwhile, in January 2024, Michael found himself at the centre of a sick death hoax and was forced to speak out and confirm he was alive.

Dancing on Ice exit ‘revealed’ as contestant set to finally be axed after shock two shock eliminations and fan backlash

DANCING on Ice’s next exit has been ‘revealed’ as one contestant is set to finally be axed after shock two shock eliminations and fan backlash.

Retired rowing legend Sir Steve Redgrave, 62, has emerged as the favourite to be sent home next.

Dancing on Ice’s next exit has been ‘revealed’ as one contestant is set to finally be axed[/caption]

Despite narrowly escaping the skate-off last week, he faces mounting pressure following a low score in week three.

With odds of 5/4 (44.44% probability), he’s the frontrunner to go home in the next elimination.

The competition remains fierce, with Michaela Strachan continuing to dominate.

After another stellar performance, she has solidified her position as the frontrunner, shortening her odds to 7/4 (36.36% probability) and showing no signs of slowing down.

Sam Aston has also gained momentum, improving his position to 3/1 after a joint top performance with Michaela in week three.

Mollie Pearce remains close behind with odds of 11/4, keeping herself firmly in the running for a top spot.

The sportsman, who is paired with Vicky Ogden, recently received support from ITV viewers after bosses made him look like “a joke”.

The Olympic champ and his skating partner had performed a routine to the 1973 song Rock The Boat.

But they were both dressed in sailor costumes, with Steve – who is 6ft 5in tall – bizarrely wearing sparkly shorts teamed with blue and white stripy socks with his skates.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, disgruntled fans shared their annoyance after seeing Steve’s first skate on the ice.

One wrote: “Oh silly outfit for Sir Steve. Don’t make him a joke. Everyone vote for Steve let’s mess up the show. They’ve set him up with that outfit.”

Another added: “Sir Steve has been made to look a right plonker.”

A third said: “Done Steve dirty there with that outfit.”

And another fumed: “Omg wtf is this lol Steve Redgrave in them shorts.”

Sir Steve is the oldest contestant to take part in this year’s series of Dancing On Ice.

Earlier this month, Steve spoke to The Sun’s TV Mag and admitted what he wears is ‘the least of his worries’.

The dad-of-three suffers from diabetes and arthritis and said he is more concerned about his dance moves on the ice than sequins.

In fact, he had hoped his opening night ensemble would be “over the top”.

Sir Steve said: “With the type of skating we’re doing, part of it is about being elegant on your skates, and that doesn’t come easy to me.

“When I first signed up, they said to me, ‘What about the sequins?’ That’s the least of my worries! I don’t mind that side of it.

“They mentioned about the spray tan when we had our first get-together. That was just after a holiday, so  I was reasonably well tanned.

“By the time we get to the first show, I’ll probably be pale just with the worry, so I’ll need some spray tan.”

He added: “I’m not sure how glammed  up I’ll be – I’m hoping it’s over the top. I just don’t want people to think that’s normally how I would dress!”

Neymar takes whopping 99 PER CENT pay cut to rejoin Santos on same base salary as Chelsea’s third-choice keeper

NEYMAR has taken a whopping 99 per cent pay cut to rejoin boyhood club Santos.

The Brazilian is back at his old side after axing his contract with Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.

Neymar has taken a 99 per cent pay cut after joining Santos from Al-Hilal
AFP

They paid £78million to sign him from Paris Saint-Germain 18 months ago.

And Neymar hit the jackpot when he penned a two-year contract worth nearly £260million BEFORE any commercial deals.

Upon leaving Al-Hilal, his salary worked out to a staggering £2.5m per week.

But he is now getting significantly less at new club Santos.

The Brazilian side have handed Neymar a six-month contract.

And his base weekly salary is now just £32,500 — 99 per cent less than what he was on in Saudi.

That means he is earning around the same as Chelsea’s third-choice goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli, who has played just once for the Blues in almost four years.

However, Neymar will later be able to claim 90 per cent of his image rights, with Santos expecting a huge boost in revenue following his return to the club.

JOIN SUN VEGAS: GET £50 BONUS

It still pales in comparison with his Al-Hilal cash though.

Neymar’s 18 months in Saudi saw him pocket £193.8m in total.

Neymar now earns the same as Chelsea back-up goalie Marcus Bettinelli[/caption]

He will still get a further £51.9m in wages from the Middle Eastern side after agreeing to give up £8m.

On top of that, Neymar also raked in £136m of commercial income during his time with Al-Hilal.

It’s a lot of money for someone who scored just once in seven games, with Neymar hit by two long-term injuries during his time there.

Combining his salary, both already paid and owed, and transfer fee, his single goal effectively cost a mind-blowing £322m.

While each of his appearances set Al-Hilal back £46m.

And those amazing figures have enabled Santos to be able to pay Neymar a basic wage while also giving him the platform to rebuild his stagnant football career.

The only way to control my nightmare neighbour is to abide by her noise curfew – I am terrified to come home & shower

WE all know how frustrating life can be when you don’t get on with your neighbours too well.

But woman has revealed that she now has to abide by her nightmare neighbour’s noise curfew to avoid any drama.

Couple on couch covering ears due to loud neighbor.

The pair claimed the woman now turns her water on and off for ten minutes at 11pm – despite having a noise curfew after 10pm[/caption]

The woman, who took to Reddit to share the stress the lady has caused, explained that the tenant who lives above first had an issue with their fan that was allegedly ”making too much noise”.

The woman then contacted the landlord – who asked the pair to remove the fan, which they politely agreed to do.

However, the relationship took a sour turn, when the woman had popped in for a shower and was suddenly disturbed by a loud bang.

She recalled the incident in the post: ”Then I’m in the shower with the shower vent fan running, and she comes downstairs banging/ringing the door.

”I didn’t know who it was. I ran out of the shower and open the door.

”She tells me that I can’t be running that because it makes too much noise.

”All this time it’s only been a week of her living here. It’s the first week so there’s a lot of commotion,” the woman wrote.

Despite the continuous noise, which consisted of ”slamming” and ”stomping”, the pair living in the flat below didn’t complain.

”We figured she’s moving in and getting settled.”

According to the furious Redditor, the person who was staying at the spot before was a 6’3ft bloke ”with a stocky build” and the pair ”never heard him for the two years” of them renting.

”This chick is 5 foot, maybe 110 pounds. We hear every foot step she makes and every cupboard/door she closes.

”Can’t forget her walking up the stairs either.”

Although the frustrated couple have tried to talking to her on numerous occasions, their attempts have proved futile.

”It’s gotten to the point where we’ve said something to our landlord four times in the last three to four months.

”He’s talked to her as well, and he’s had enough.”

Between the three parties – the couple, the neighbour, as well as the landlord – it’s since been agreed to implement ”quiet hours” at 10pm.

But despite the new arrangement, the woman is now driving the pair mad with a ”new thing” – standing in the bathroom, which is above their bedroom, and turning the water on and off between 11.05pm and 11.15pm.

”It’s to the point where I dread coming home. Our landlord says he is ‘going to figure something out’,” the Redditor vented to fellow social media users.

The Top Five Reasons Neighbours Squabble

One study by Compare the Market revealed the top reason British neighbour's argue

  1. Broken fences – top of the board was broken fences and whose responsibility it was to fix it
  2. Parking: one of the leading drivers of neighbour disputes, with 54.1 per cent of people having issues with people parking in front of their house, parking bay or driveway
  3. Trees – complaints about a neighbour’s tree cracking your garden path was also common with nearly half of participants finding it frustrating
  4. Bin wars – outdoor bin etiquette continues to ignite the most furious debates between neighbours
  5. Nosy Neighbours – some people have their eyes and ears at the ready to have a peek causing problems for others

‘Put your fan back up’

Dozens of readers flooded to comments to share their thoughts on the unfortunate situation – and how they’d tackle it.

One said: ”People are too nice, tell them to f**k off in a nice aggressive tone.”

Someone else chimed in: ”My advice: tell her to suck it up and buy some noise cancelling headphones.

”I would then proceed to run all the fans 24/7. If she can stomp around like a Clydesdale horse, you should be able to live your lives without a care in the world too.”

However, not everyone advise to resort to such harsh measures – and some told the woman to be more understanding.

” ‘Stand in the bathroom for 10 minutes turning the water on and off’… I’m sorry, do you not wash your face, brush your teeth, and maybe complete a few other tasks before heading to bed for the night?

”Chances are she is going about her nightly routine and she is not doing it out of pettiness,” thought one person.

”That sounds brutal. I really hope the landlord gets it sorted out because you shouldn’t have to put up with that kind of nonsense,” a fourth chimed in.

Local club of GAA star jokes he is ‘still wearing it’ after pic emerges of him ‘getting a bating’ from umpire flag

CAVAN GAA star Gary O’Rourke got an accidental thump from an umpire’s flag at the weekend – with his club joking he is “still wearing it”.

The Ballyhaines goalkeeper was in the net as the Lake County lost 2-22 to 0-20 to Monaghan in their Division 2 football league opener.

At one point in the game, he went to collect a football after Monaghan had successfully kicked a two-pointer.

However, as he did so, the umpire pulled out the new orange flag and inadvertently trapped the goalkeeper in it.

The moment was captured by Ben McShane from Sportsfile and used by RTE as they discussed the five main talking points from the opening weekend of the new rules.

Reacting to the pic, his club Ballyhailes GAA joked that he was “recovering well” from the “bating”.

The club posted: “The club would like to confirm that Gary is recovering well after getting a bating from the new orange flag during the Cavan/Monaghan game on Saturday!”

In the comments, ‘Matty’ playfully asked: “Did he wear the flag for the whole game??” to which the club responded: “He is still wearing it apparently”.

O’Rourke, to his credit, retweeted Ballyhaines’ original post and quipped: “This is what they meant when they said to get a good look at the new rules right ?”

The new rules made their debut in competitive inter-county football during the opening weekend of the 2025 Allianz Leagues.

Former Tyrone joint-manager Feargal Logan was speaking about the new rules on a Sports Law Bar Association podcast recorded before the weekend’s action.

And he pointed to a potential issue concerning the new 40m scoring arc, outside of which points are counted as double.

He said: “Jim [Gavin] helpfully explained that if you’ve one foot planted over the halfway line, you’re deemed over the halfway line in terms of going back.

“But one change that has been curious in my head is if [a player] kicks a winner from outside the arc and, as you expect good kickers to do, both feet leave the ground and both feet or one foot lands inside the arc and the two points becomes one or when does it become one?

“I envisage some car park business after matches on that this year.

“There was a basketball match during The Olympics.

“You saw the French team that had the American ladies team beaten and they scored a three-pointer but the girl’s foot just touched inside the line and didn’t get the three points and they lost.

“They will be contentious because you (might) need two points to draw a game and you fall short, you get your one-pointer.”

That viewpoint was not shared by Galway forward Cillian Ó Curraoin, who revealed he was “licking his lips” at the prospect of playing under the new regulations.

He said: “They’re unbelievable for an inside forward. I was looking forward to it for a long time.

“I watched the interpros and was really licking my lips. It was great to come out in front of a crowd and play.

“Everyone is sussing each other out and we saw that in the first half.

“What are they going to do with kick-outs? What are they going to do with the press?

“It will take a while for everyone to kind of bring their own spin and dynamic to it. It’s exciting.”

English village where Princess Diana used to go on holiday as a child… and you can spot seals from the beach

IT’S no secret that Princess Diana spent a lot of her time in West Sussex.

But the little-known village of West Itchenor is where Princess Diana spent summer breaks with her family when she was a child.

The seaside village was named one of the poshest in the UK by the Telegraph last year, what with the number of houses selling for over £1million.

And Princess Diana was often photographed on her holidays there in the seventies when she was a child.

The royal loved being out on the water, and West Itchenor is famous for its sailing community.

For those who can’t, or don’t want to sail, there’s a ferry service at West Itchenor that you can catch from the public jetty to the foot of Smugglers Lane in Bosham.

On the ferry, you can also go to Cobnor Point where there are lots of water sports from sailing to paddle-boarding and powerboating.

It’s even a great place to see seals that rest on the sandy banks.

Your best chance of spotting a seal is if you go during the summer and early autumn.

And while the village of West Itchenor is small, it is known for it’s dog-friendly pub, the Ship Inn, which overlooks the ferry terminal and jetty.

The pub’s seafront location means you an expect a great range of seafood caught nearby, with dishes including mussels, scampi and cod.

Otherwise make sure to grab a coffee at The Quarterdeck Cafe, also by the shipyard.

Don’t expect any hotels in the village, but there are a number of B&Bs you can rent instead.

The neighbouring village of Bosham is also worth a visit.

But be warned, if you drive over to Bosham, be careful where you park your car as when the tide comes in.

The water floods the road immediately next to the harbour and can leave cars stranded.

To locals, this is known as the ‘Bosham Carwash’.

The city of Chichester is also a 20-minute drive away from West Itchenor, or can be reached by ferry.

Chichester Harbour is famous for being the home of the common seal that have been known to take a nap on the swimming platforms of moored boats.

Sightseeing around the city will lead you to the Chichester Cathedral, which has the third biggest spire in England.

Here’s an ancient village in the UK that was owned by a king.

And a retro seaside town is even loved by other royals.

Petite student, 21, with giant J-cup ‘OAP boobs’ denied NHS reduction because her ‘breasts are just saggy’

A PETITE student burdened with “the breasts of a 60-year-old” was unable to get a breast reduction on the NHS because her size J boobs weren’t “big enough” and “saggy”.

Yasmine Ben-Omar suffers such agonising back pain she says she’s been forced to fork out £100 a month on massages just to be able to function under the crushing weight of her chest.

While she managed to reduce her bust size losing weight, she was still unhappy, so made an appointment to see her GP
Kennedy News and Media

Frustrated by her “saggy” boobs and the unwelcome attention she receives from strangers, the 21-year-old lost 4st, going from a size 14 to a slinky size 10.

Despite managing to reduce her bust size from a 34JJ to a 30J, Yasmine was still unhappy so booked a GP appointment to discuss getting a breast reduction on the NHS.

In January, after a four-month waiting list, the 5ft 5in Manchester Metropolitan University student was seen by a consultant at the Northern Manchester General Hospital.

It was there the marketing student claims she was denied the reduction surgery on the NHS because her boobs were not “big enough” and “saggy” – and that she needed a breast lift instead.

Yasmine, cruelly dubbed the “girl with the big boobs” by school bullies, says she’s been left with no choice but to fundraise for the op so she can live a pain-free life.

The student, from Brighton in East Sussex, said: “I started puberty really early on, I started developing breasts at the age of nine in primary school.

“Everyone else was pre-pubescents and I just looked really out of place. Even in primary school people made fun of me because I looked so different.

“I’ve always had droopy boobs and people would point them out and say they were saggy.

“I felt too insecure to join in on PE and was always trying to hide them with my arms so people wouldn’t look.

“They kept growing, at 15 they were around a 34JJ.

“My back pain really started then and as the years went on it just got worse. I would always struggle to find bras that fit in high street shops.

“I remember boys would say a lot of weird things and would describe me as the ‘girl with the big boobs’ and girls would make remarks.

“Last year I decided to go to the NHS about it after I felt like I had tried everything. I just couldn’t cope with the pain anymore.

“I have to get deep tissue massages twice a month just to be able to function as my back hurts so much.

“My GP was supportive and tried to get me to my appointment with the consultant.

“At the consultant appointment, I went into the room and the surgeon took one look at me and said that my boobs weren’t big and they were just saggy.

The surgeon took one look at me and said that my boobs weren’t big and they were just saggy

Yasmine Ben-Omar

“I fit all the requirements but they wouldn’t have any of it. She said I need to go private and get a breast lift as they don’t do this on the NHS.

“A breast lift would make them look less saggy but it wouldn’t help with the heaviness of them or the pain.

“It felt horrible because I was trying to tell her what I was struggling with and they didn’t listen.”

According to the NHS, the availability for breast reduction surgery on the NHS varies depending on the eligibility criteria decided by the local integrated care board (ICB) and some don’t offer this service at all.

Patients might be considered for a breast reduction on the NHS if having larger breasts caused backache, shoulder pain, skin irritation, psychological distress and the inability to exercise.

Pain is not Yasmine’s only struggle…

As well as dealing with constant pain, Yasmine says she struggles to shop on the high street for clothes that fit and on the rare occasion she can work out, has to wear two sports bras.

After enduring cruel comments at school, Yasmine says she’s now regularly objectified by blokes due to her larger bust and has been ridiculed online and at the gym by the opposite sex.

She also says dating is tricky as she’s never sure whether a man is attracted to her as a person or her chest.

Yasmine said: “Exercising is really hard because I can’t do any high intensity stuff. I also can’t find gym clothes that fit me right.

“I have had creepy experiences at the gym of men coming up to me and saying weird things.

“It’s made me feel really horrible. Even from primary school I would get creepy comments, even as a little kid.

I have insecurities about my boobs…I’m 21 but have the breasts of someone who is 60

“I’ve always been made to feel ashamed with my body that something is wrong with me.

“I always felt so odd about myself and out of place and uncomfortable, it’s not a nice feeling.

“I’ve had a lot of online creeps as well. People have taken photos I’ve posted of myself online in forums and discussed my breasts.

“It makes me not want to post online and not want to be seen and just cover them up.

“When someone talks to me [I think] ‘are they just talking to me because they have a weird fetish for my breasts?’ It makes me question whether they like me for me or not.

“It puts me off dating. I have insecurities about my boobs too, I’m 21 but have the breasts of someone who is 60.”

If I don’t get the surgery I will probably end up with crippling back problems in the future, which will cost the NHS more to fix

Since her consultation, the marketing student says she has since submitted an appeal against her refused NHS reduction surgery and is now fundraising to undergo a private breast reduction.

Yasmine said: “A breast lift would just make my boobs look nicer without a bra but this won’t help me with my issues.

“In the UK it would cost me £10,000, which is just unrealistic for me.

“It would mean so much for me to get this surgery as it’s all I’ve ever wanted since I can remember.

“All I want is to feel normal and not be in pain 24/7 and not to feel harassed or uncomfortable around men.

“If I don’t get the surgery I will probably end up with crippling back problems in the future, which will cost the NHS more to fix.”

A spokesperson for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust said: “Ms Ben-Omar has contacted MFT Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALs) team and PALS will be in contact with Ms Ben-Omar to discuss next steps.”

A spokesperson for NHS Greater Manchester said: “NHS funding for breast reduction surgery is determined on a case-by-case basis, based on clinical need. When making these decisions, there are clinical assessments by consultants and specialists who determine the most appropriate course of treatment by assessing it against an eligibility criteria set out by our commissioning policy.

“We understand the challenges and distress that can arise from concerns about breast size and the potential impact it can have on both physical and emotional wellbeing. If Yasmine feels her condition has not been properly assessed or is not happy with the advice she has received, we would encourage her to follow the appeals process.

“We are aware that waiting times for consultations and treatments can be a challenge, and we continue to work towards reducing these waiting periods to ensure patients receive timely care.”

Breast reduction on the NHS

THE availability of breast reduction surgery on the NHS varies, depending on the eligibility criteria decided by your local integrated care board (ICB).

Some ICBs do not fund breast reduction surgery, and others fund it selectively if you fulfil certain criteria.

You may be considered for breast reduction on the NHS if you have problems caused by having very large breasts, such as:

  • backache
  • shoulder or neck pain
  • skin irritation
  • rashes and skin infections under the breasts
  • grooves on the shoulders from bra straps
  • psychological distress, such as low self-esteem or depression
  • an inability to exercise or take part in sports

ICBs also tend to have additional criteria that may include the size of your breasts, your weight, your age, whether you smoke, and whether other options (such as wearing professionally fitted bras) have been tried, but have not helped.

See a GP if you think you might be eligible for breast reduction surgery on the NHS.
