Airline launches world-first onboard suites that are FIVE windows long

FLAG carrier Air France has revealed their new onboard suites – which come with some amazing views.

Previously hailed as Europe’s top airline, Air France will be installing four suites onboard a selection of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Air France has previously been hailed as Europe’s top airline with the new suite set to feature onboard the flag carrier in the spring[/caption]

Called La Première experience, each of the suites will span 3.5 square metres.

They will be located at the front of the plane, with the premium seat spanning five windows in a first for Air France.

Inside each of the suites, there will be a seat and a chaise lounge, the latter of which converts into a 2m-long bed.

The seat adjusts at different phases of the flight, including take-off, landing, dining and relaxation mode.

Each suite features two 32-inch 4K screens, with more than 1,500 hours of entertainment.

Passengers are given noise-cancelling headphones and have the option of connecting their personal headphones via Bluetooth.

The suite also has several charging ports, wireless charging stations and free Wi-Fi.

Other features include a small table, a blanket and several cushions.

The overhead compartments have been replaced with floor-level storage, including a large sliding drawer, a second drawer under the chaise lounge and a personal compartment near the suite.

Each of the suites is also enclosed by a thick floor-to-ceiling curtain, and there’s also a full-height electric sliding partition that can be activated at the touch of a button.

Its neutral colour scheme is complemented with touches of red and champagne-coloured accents.

The leather headrest is embossed with Air France’s winged seahorse emblem and features plush padding.

The new premium experience will be available onboard aircraft in spring 2025.

Épernay will be the first aircraft to feature the new La Première cabin, flying from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport to New York-JFK in the spring.

The new La Première cabin will also fly to other destinations in the summer, including Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda.

Benjamin Smith, President of Air France and CEO of Air France-KLM Group, commented: “The launch of our new La Première experience is a major step in our strategic roadmap.

“We continue to invest in state-of-the-art products for our customers at every step of their journey, with the aim of positioning Air France at the highest level worldwide.

“With a new private ground experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and a completely redesigned, larger-than-ever La Première suite onboard, this new experience truly is the highest expression of travel.”

Meanwhile, an airline has launched new plane seats you can recline without ever annoying other passengers.

We’ve also revealed Turkish Airlines’ new business class seats – who was named the best European airline by Skytrax.

And Delta has new economy seats as well.
