Experts at AutoCar complied their top 10 best value for money, latest model motors, available on the market at the moment.

Dacia Sandero

The Dacia Sandero costs just £14,200[/caption]
First up we have the Dacia Sandero, which is on the market for just £14,200.
It became the second-best selling car in Europe last year, and the UK’s cheapest new motor.
It seats five and offers plenty of load space with a 328-litre boot.
While it may not be the smoothest drive, it still performs well – and can’t be beaten on value.
Citroën C3

Experts were impressed with the Citroën C3 and its price tag[/caption]
The car experts also recommended the Citroën C3 which is marked up at £17,990.
It is the fourth-generation C3 and powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 99bhp.
A hybrid version is also set to be released soon which will cost around £20,000.
Dacia Spring

Meanwhile the Dacia Spring is slightly cheaper at £14,995 and the first EV to come in at such a low price.
The entry-level car only has 44bhp motor and its 26.8kWh battery has a max range of just 137 miles on full charge.
However, for the incredible price-tag, car gurus have still ranked it in the Top 10 as a worthwhile runaround car.
Leapmotor T03

The Leapmotor T03 offers an 8in digital display behind the steering wheel and a 10in infotainment touchscreen[/caption]
Next up is the Leapmotor T03, another electric car with a slightly further range and higher horsepower.
It boasts 165miles fully charged, with 94bhp and 117lb ft of torque.
For £15,995 it offers an 8in digital display behind the steering wheel and a 10in infotainment touchscreen with sat-nav.
Dacia Sandero Stepway

An SUV which made the top 10[/caption]
This SUV made the top 10 list for it’s high design, performance and cost ratings.
Motor experts at Autocar said the £15,700 model was “ergonomically sound”, offered a “spacious cabin” and “frugal engines”.
However, it did not score so high on safety features, steering and amenities.
Kia Picanto

The Kia Picanto has a 1.0-litre petrol engine and offers 62bhp[/caption]
An entry level spec will set buyers back £15,845 for a very basic four-seater version.
It has been stripped back of any extras such as Apple CarPlay, but does come with a decent seven-year/100,000-mile warranty.

Hyundai i10

Car experts hailed it as cheap to run and easy to maneuver[/caption]
For a little bit of extra cash, the Hyundai i10 does offer slightly more on their lowest level spec.
Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available but it is essentially very similar to the Kia Picanto.
Car experts hailed it as cheap to run and easy to maneuver, although it is a little tight on space.
MG 3

MG3 Hybrid is a fun, comfy car that’s perfect for short journeys and city driving – but the best bit is the price[/caption]
The MG 3 will set buyers back £16,495, but boasts a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 113bhp.
The hatchback has been voted one of the best value for money on the market and described as “well worth considering” by Matt Saunders at AutoCar.
It also comes as a hybrid which offers a three-speed automatic gearbox, a 134bhp electric motor and a small battery.
Toyota Aygo X

The Toyota Aygo X only costs £16,515[/caption]
Motor whizzes described this car as a “grown up” version of the Aygo city car, as it now presents as more of a mini SUV.
It only costs £16,515 and there’s decent cargo space with 231litres available.
Although, while it scores positively on comfort and the way it drives, it isn’t the fastest.
“The 71bhp 1.0-litre three-pot is severely lacking in torque and feels treacle-like up until 6500rpm,” said the experts at AutoCar.
Renault Clio

Renault Clio E-Tech full hybrid[/caption]
Finally, the Renault Clio which is the most expensive on the list at £18,595.
“The Clio’s cabin design and perceived quality are all much higher than you might imagine if you haven’t sat in one for a few years, while its steering is intuitive and its chassis gives a sense of cornering balance. In other words, it’s good fun,” wrote AutoCar gurus.
Jack Warrick, Staff Writer, added: “The Clio is a conversation for supermini class leadership in which it hasn’t been involved for some time.”
This comes as the four best electric motors have been revealed including a spacious £22k supermini and family-friendly SUV with 372 miles of range.
