RTE Fair City viewers have all been left “feeling sorry” for Jacinta after she was caught sabotaging Liam.
On tonight’s episode, Jacinta ignored Fergal’s pleas for her to stop harassing Liam.
Fergal continued to flatter Liam to keep him on his side.
Liam feared Jacinta’s public badmouthing would harm his project and let Fergal go, scuppering Fergal’s sabotage plans.
Jacinta feigned an apology to Liam but secretly slipped a bag of white powder into his jacket pocket right before an important meeting.
A stunned Steo witnessed Jacinta’s sabotage and immediately phoned Fergal.
Fergal exposed Jacinta and her crude plan in front of Liam.
And RTE viewers were all quick to react after Jacinta was caught in the act, with some even feeling pity for her.
Isabella wrote on X: “The fact that I feel sorry for Jacinta right now. What an actress that plays her.”
Sinead said: “You’d feel bad for Jacinta.”
While William added: “I hope Jacinta and Fergal are in cahoots in the end.”
And Annie remarked: “Jacinta has been through it.”
Elsewhere on the show, Fergal managed to win back Liam’s trust, but Steo warned him to tread lightly.
Gar urged Fergal to cut ties with Liam.
Fergal let Jacinta in on his plan to take down Liam.
While all that was happening, Erica told Gwen to find somewhere else to stay.
LACK OF TRUST
Dolores, believing they were running a scam, decided to dock Erica and Georgie’s wages.
Georgie explained to Dolores how Nikki had pulled a fast one on Erica.
Dolores then berated Doug, believing he was in on the plan too.
A confused Doug was surprised to learn from Georgie that Erica had been under pressure at work.
TAKING THE BLAME
When Doug fretted to Pete about Erica, Pete offered him some sound relationship advice.
Erica took the blame for everything with Dolores.
Dolores and Georgie urged Erica to be honest with Doug.
Erica came clean to Doug about her initial apprehension about marriage and they decided to plan everything together going forward.
JOB DRAMA
Meanwhile, Jess helped Ellie prepare for an au pair job interview but secretly hoped she wouldn’t succeed.
Greg was pleased when Ian sang his praises to Jess.
Maxine confronted Greg for doing Ian’s work, but he denied it.
Ian was furious when Maxine forced Greg to show him the ropes.
