Most recently, it was revealed during P Diddy’s trial that Cassie Ventura also wanted Combs to live up to such a standard. As reported by Page Six, the two had a conversation over text that had some very emotional themes. Starting off, she challenged Combs’ ego and stated that he would never be like Willis, no matter how hard he tried.
As much as you think you’re Bruce Willis, you aren’t. He’s married and before he was married the family as a whole went on trips together or just him and his woman.
The reason for such a strong statement was because of the way the actor treats his family. Implying that Combs was only focused on self-interested pursuits, she claimed that their relationship did not offer her any real comfort in the things that mattered to her. She further mentioned that Willis is extremely respectful and public with his romantic partners, involving them with his family and showing off his beloved to the world.

She even talked about Eddie Murphy, mentioning how he was also a family man, taking responsibility for his children with his partner instead of throwing it on one person’s shoulders. Implying that their children never knew Porter and Combs as a loving couple, she questioned the amount of affection he was able to show and demanded that he change his past patterns.

With the level of desperation present in this text thread, it is difficult not to feel bad for Ventura and villainize Combs.
