Ellen Pompeo Rocks Her Most Sheer & Daring Look To Date as She Promotes Good American Family

Listen, Ellen Pompeo knows how to rock something daring and head-turning. Whether it be a plunging black dress on the red carpet or something bold for a photoshoot, Pompeo knows how to rock any fashion she chooses. But now, she’s rocked her boldest look to date, and we’re obsessed.

In case you missed it, Pompeo arrived in New York City to stop by Watch What Happens Live earlier this week to talk about her new show on Hulu: Good American Family. (Good American Family is a limited series on Hulu based on the adoption story of Natalia Grace, and her adoptive parents, who question if she really has dwarfism, or if the story is darker.) In the photos, we can see Pompeo looking gorgeous as she rocks a daring ensemble consisting of a black satin pencil skirt, a purple peacoat, and the star of the show: her completely sheer, polka-dotted top that showed off her abs and black bra. She was styled in this ultra-daring and sheer look by stylist Jason Bolden, had her hair in soft waves from hairstylist Orlando Pita, and got her makeup done by Hung Vanngo, which was assisted by Jian Qiao Lu.

This year, especially during the press tours for Good American Family, has reminded fans that she’s a style icon, unafraid to rock anything she puts her mind to.

While she’s rarely spoken about her personal style, she has spoken about her confidence, and how she doesn’t care what people say about her. In fact, in a previous interview with Marie Claire, Pompeo talked about being a strong woman, and how she doesn’t care if she’s called a “b–ch” for it.

“We’re taught that if we’re not b–ches, we’re not going to be taken seriously. There’s some truth in it, but we need to be b–ches to the men and not to the women,” the Grey’s Anatomy star said to the outlet.
