Stuck in a dire situation with a pool of his own blood beneath him, Aquaman bends that blood like he’s starring in the most hardcore episode of Avatar ever, overpowers his captors, and breaks free. The fish whisperer no more, folks. This man is officially terrifying.
Why James Gunn need to add this forbidden ability from Avatar to the DCU
Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room, this power is straight out of Avatar: The Last Airbender. If you’re familiar with the legendary Nickelodeon series, you know that waterbenders who tap into their darkest potential can control the blood inside a living body, essentially turning their enemies into unwilling puppets.
