Haaland equalised early in the second half[/caption]
Haaland hit back for the visitors after the break with a smart header back across goal as he ghosted in front of William Saliba.
But the home side’s lead was restored after 38 seconds when Thomas Partey’s shot took a wicked deflection of John Stones to find the side netting.
Myles Lewis-Skelly then earned his own revenge on Haaland from the reverse fixture at the Etihad by scoring a stunning goal before doing the striker’s signature celebration.
Kai Havertz completed the rout in the 76th minute as he made up for a horror first half miss.
