Despite being three months into 2025, Vanessa Bryant and the Bryant family have been keeping a low profile, focusing on staying connected and living their best lives away from the spotlight. However, in Vanessa’s first family-oriented post of 2025, we can see that her young daughters Bianka and Capri are thriving, and doing so with a rather difficult sport: skiing.
On March 17, Vanessa shared a video of her family and Pau Gasol’s family’s ski trip to her Instagram. She shared the video to her Instagram with the caption reading, “🎿💕🫶🏽 ❄️.” You can see the post HERE!
Throughout the video, we see the two families skiing through the snowy mountains, with Bianka and Capri stealing the show as they twin in pink jumpsuits and masterfully ski through all the treks in the mountains. Truly, they’re already lil pros at the sport, at only the ages of eight and five, respectively. (And for those wondering, per The Points Guy, kids can start skiing between the ages of three and five!)
Along with a sweet compilation video, we get an adorable photo featuring the Bryants and Gasol families, with Natalia Bryant also making a rare appearance! There are also a bunch more photos showing everyone having the time of their lives.
For those who don’t know, Vanessa and her late husband Kobe Bryant first met back in 1999 when she was a dancer on the set of the music video “G’d Up.” Six months later, they got engaged, and married in 2001. They were married from 2001 til his death in 2020 (when he and their daughter Gianna Bryant tragically passed in a helicopter crash).
During their marriage, Vanessa and Kobe welcomed four beautiful daughters named Natalia, born on Jan 2003, Gianna, born on May 2006 (who sadly passed away in Jan 2020), Bianka, born on Dec 2016, and Capri, born on June 2019.
In a super-rare interview with People back in 2021, Vanessa spoke about her grief, and how her daughters help her navigate it. “I can’t say that I’m strong every day. I can’t say that there aren’t days when I feel like I can’t survive to the next,” she said. “…My girls help me smile through the pain. They give me strength. I want to make Kobe, Gigi, Natalia, Bianka and Capri proud.”
