Taylor Frankie Paul joked about how she’s not proud that she shares a baby with ex Dakota Mortensen after false rumors that he fathered a child with someone else.
After Dakota, 32, clarified that he did not get anyone pregnant following his split from Taylor, 30, a TikToker posted a video earlier this month poking fun at how “everyone thinks [I’m] Dakota’s new baby mama.”
Taylor, for her part, replied in the comments section, “Flex it hahah I’m trying to hide the fact I’m one of his baby mamas.” The joke came after rumors swirled on social media that Dakota was about to become a dad again.
“No babies on the way,” Dakota, who shares 12-month-old son Ever with Taylor, wrote via TikTok on May 29. “I am not having a kid with anybody. I haven’t slept with anyone since I have dated Taylor until now. If anybody wants to try to prove that wrong, by all means be my guest.”

He continued: “I just wanted to clear the air because there’s a few girls out here that said they are even pregnant with my child. Lots of crazy stuff but anyways, no baby coming!”
Taylor also weighed in on the drama at the time, writing via TikTok that same day, “A girl claiming to be having his baby as I’m putting myself in timeout for actually being his bm [baby mama]. I think it’s a joke, I sure hope so.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star also revealed she was planning a move amid ups and downs with Dakota. “I have no shame. If you can post happiness, you can post sadness too,” she wrote via TikTok. “[I am] processing pain and yes I want a fresh start.”
Taylor and Dakota have discussed their attempts to coparent while weathering a breakup. The pair were dating when they started filming season 1 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives but called it quits by the time production started on the second season.
“We’ve obviously come a long way to navigate [coparenting],” Taylor, who also shares daughter Indy, 7, and son Ocean, 4, with ex-husband Tate Paul, told Us Weekly in a May cover story. “It’s different from my first husband because there’s obviously a friendship there. We adjusted. Whereas [with] Dakota, everything’s fresh. It’s something that we necessarily didn’t want to do but needed to separate.”
Taylor clarified she’s not in a romantic relationship with Dakota.

“So it’s an adjustment and we’ve had to learn through the obstacles of this experience to do what’s best for our son,” she added. “Of course when things are heightened, you’re breaking up and it’s not something you wanted and you just had a baby. It was not the prettiest experience, but currently we’ve come a long way.”
Dakota, meanwhile, revealed earlier this month that he is currently not on the best terms with Taylor — and that filming a reality show hasn’t helped.
“I know a lot of people from a viewer point of view [don’t understand that] having everything aired out to the world is a lot different than just going to a person you care about or your family and telling them something,” Dakota explained on the Wednesday, June 4, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “Like you want to talk about fear, that’s the scariest feeling in the world.”
He continued: “Then doing it with a show, you don’t have any control over it. If they’re missing something, it’s like that’s not how it was. That to me was really hard to grasp. That was hard to understand. I was like, ‘I don’t want to be torched to the world for it. I just want to have a moment with you where I can talk to you. I want a safe place to talk.’ But that’s not the case.”
