While Iris only wanted to stir the pot and cause chaos, the fact that even the characters of Fire Force are shipping Shinra and Tamaki together means that they might actually have a future together within the story.
The hidden purpose behind Iris’s actions in Fire Force
During the chaos caused by Iris in Fire Force season 3 episode 10, Shinra explicitly points out that he prefers women like Sister Iris. This leads to Tamaki crashing out, but what was more shocking was the fact that even Sister Iris stated that she liked Shinra. This was an unexpected development and led to even more chaos within the ongoing plot.
