Morgan Gibbs-White was also amongst the goals[/caption]
A Lewis Dunk own goal and a Morgan Gibbs-White header got the scoring going.
Anthony Elanga created chances for fun and Wood eventually took home the match ball, completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot.
Neco Williams then made it 6-0 before Jota Silva added a seventh in the closing stages.
The win takes Forest joint-second, level on points with Arsenal ahead of their clash with Man City.
