A DUBLINER found a box of puppies on the side of the road in Lusk – and raised over €9,500 to save them.
Brandon Stone discovered the four little canines in a plastic box by the roadside last week.

Brandon admitted “life has been a little bit crazy” since the rescue.
He told The Irish Sun: “I was in shock when I found them, I could not believe anyone could do something like this to such innocent little puppies.
“There is no need for it. They could have at least dropped them to a shelter and say they found them instead of leaving them to die.”
While driving home from the shops, Brandon made the shock find and took to TikTok to document their recovery.
He said: “Last night driving home from the shops I came across a little box of puppies.
“I was honestly so shocked I could not believe what I actually just came across.
“I immediately pulled over and put them in my car. They are absolutely adorable.”
Brandon immediately noticed the pups needed urgent care.
He said: “One of them was extremely poorly and we could kind of see a little bit of lice on them.
“So I made an at-home remedy and gave all four of them a bath and then wrapped them up to get them cozy and warm.
“How anyone can just abandon these at the side of the road is just an absolute disgrace.
“But I popped the movie on and I stayed up all night.”
After a long night, the home improvement pro woke up to some sad news.
Brandon said: “Unfortunately this morning the one that was very poorly, he didn’t make it.
“I revived him a little bit with CPR and some sugar water and he came around for a little bit but in the end he didn’t make it. My heart is honestly broken.”
Brandon set up a GoFundMe to help raise funds towards vet fees and thanked all who donated.
He said: “Many, many vet bills and vet trips later, the pups are starting to shine.”
Luckily, Brandon has now found homes for the abandoned pups Biscuit, Mowgli and Dolly.
He added: “Caring for them has been a handful but joy and I’m going to miss them when they go to their forever homes.”
