GET ahead and stock up on eggs for Easter as retailers slash prices on the top chocolate treats.
Stores offering deals on the most popular eggs often sell-out ahead of Easter weekend so it makes sense to get a great price while you can.
Many supermarkets and stores have special deals running on eggs, including Cadbury and Nestle, as well as Lindt.
There are also multi-buy offers which can offer better value if you’re looking to stockpile.
Here we reveal where to get the best price on your favourite Easter treat…
Cadbury creme egg

It’s not Easter without Cadbury’s creme eggs.
Aldi has slashed a five-pack of eggs down from £2.95 to £1.49.
The price-cut makes a single egg less than 30p each and the cheapest on the market.
If you want to buy a single egg, head to high street chain Savers where you’ll find the treat for 59p.
Lindt gold bunny

Delicious and cute, the Lindt gold bunny is an Easter favourite each year.
The bunny comes in different sizes.
You can get a 50g, 100g or 200g versions of the chocolate animal.
Asda is the cheapest supermarket for the larger 100g and 200g bunnies working out as £3.48 and £5.44 respectively, according to date from comparison site trolley.co.uk.
You can get the small 50g bunny for £2.25 with a Clubcard from Tesco – it’s £2.75 without.
However, if you buy a five-pack of the 50g bunnies for £3 from Morrisons each bunny works out as 60p – making it the cheapest shop to buy.
Cadbury Easter egg, medium-sized

It’s hard to go wrong with a Cadbury egg at Easter and they come in a range of popular versions including Buttons, Crunchie, Caramel and Twirl.
You can get smaller versions but a standard medium-sized egg comes in at around 180-200g, depending on your choice.
Tesco currently offers these eggs at £2.45 with a Clubcard making it the cheapest shop on the market.
Make sure you are signed up to the supermarket’s loyalty scheme otherwise you’ll pay a much pricier £4.
At Asda, you can buy four medium-sized eggs from for £11.96 working out at £2.99 each making it the second-cheapest if you are multi-buying.
Nestle Easter egg, medium sized

Nestle Easter eggs are another crowd-pleaser and come in a range of popular versions including Smarties, Kit-Kat and Aero.
The standard medium-sized eggs are cheapest in Tesco coming in at £2.45 with a Clubcard – but watch out as they’re £4 without.
These eggs are also included in the Asda four for £11.96 promotion, working out at £2.99 each.
Reece’s peanut butter creme egg

If you love Reece’s peanut butter cups, no doubt you’re a big fan of its chocolate creme eggs.
These Easter-themed treats are bought cheapest singularly at Asda after the supermarket cut prices from 75p to 67p.
Or you can buy a five-pack for £2.50 with a Clubcard at Tesco making each egg a top value 50p each.
Terry’s chocolate orange egg

If you’re partial to some posh choc, the Ferrero Rocher golden Easter egg should hit the mark.
The egg is milk chocolate and hazelnut and comes with six Ferrero Rochers too.
