The Justice Department released the ‘Epstein Binder’, which contained documents like a contact list, flight logs, and other evidence related to s*x predator Jeffrey Epstein. U.S. President Donald Trump once maintained close ties with the disgraced financier. However, Trump’s name did not appear in the contact list released, and there is no proof that he was on the infamous ‘Epstein List’.
The new document contains no significant new information pertaining to the case. The President’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, and his former wife, Ivana Trump, were among those listed as Epstein’s contact. However, the document didn’t imply that anyone in the contact list was associated with Epstein’s crimes.
Jeffrey Epstein’s contact list includes Donald Trump’s ex-wife and daughter
A roughly 200-page document with evidence amassed against Jeffrey Epstein and without any big revelations was released on Thursday (via the New York Post). It included a contact list, which clearly isn’t a “client list”, and contained the names of several celebrities. Donald Trump isn’t a part of this contact list and neither was he proven to be a part of the infamous Epstein list.
However, two familiar names associated with the President appeared on Epstein’s contact list. Trump’s ex-wife Ivana Trump and their daughter Ivanka Trump were named in the contact list. However, this didn’t implicate the two of them in any of Epstein’s crimes.
Trump’s association with Epstein was long speculated by the haters of the current U.S. President. Trump once spoke highly of the financier, sharing that he was a “terrific guy” and that “he likes beautiful women as much as I do” (via New York Magazine). Epstein even claimed that it was he who introduced Melania Trump to the President.
When Epstein was accused of the crimes in 2019, Trump shared with reporters in the Oval Office that he only knew Epstein like “everybody in Palm Beach knew him.” He told the NY Times that he had a falling out with him and that he hadn’t spoken to him in years. However, Epstein maintained the story that he was close to Trump.
There were speculations that he was on the infamous Epstein list, which included names of those who traveled alongside Epstein to his island on the infamous “Lolita Express” private jet. However, there is no evidence regarding Trump’s involvement in Epstein’s crimes.
The other prominent names in Jeffrey Epstein’s contact list
Most of the names in Jeffrey Epstein’s contact list had previously popped up in lawsuits and leaked documents over the years. There were no major surprises in the DOJ’s documents, and it isn’t the list that fans wanted. The popular names in the post included Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Alec Baldwin, Naomi Campbell, and RFK Jr.’s mother, Ethel Kennedy.
The list further named former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, late Senator Ted Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, Courtney Love, Harvey Weinstein’s brother Bob Weinstein, Ralph Fiennes, David Koch, John Kerry, Dustin Hoffman, Liz Hurley, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and businessman Jon Huntsman.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who leads the House GOP task force on government transparency, expressed disappointment over the release of the documents. Luna tweeted:
I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today… A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein’s phonebook.

During his appearance on Lex Fridman’s podcast before the election, Trump shared that he had no hesitation in releasing the complete Epstein client list. He shared that he was not one of the guests who visited the island along with Epstein. However, he shared that the Epstein files, being more recent, posed dangers to the people involved.
