STORM Huntley made her first TV appearance with her new baby girl on The Jeremy Vine show this morning.
The Channel 5 host gave birth to her newborn daughter Sloan Blue Okan in the early hours of Saturday morning.
And she promised to bring the new arrival to the studio to meet everyone soon[/caption]
It’s the second child that Storm shares with her husband former LaFontaines frontman Kerr Okan after welcoming their son Otis into the world less then three years ago.
The beaming mum, 38, announced the news with fans on social media yesterday.
Storm, from Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, posted a picture holding her baby on Instagram to show fans the new addition to the family.
And now she has introduced little Sloan on the Jeremy Vine show saying that bringing her home from the hospital has been “wonderful”.
Storm sent the team a video she recorded from Sloan’s room on Sunday night and called her the “newest recruit” to the team.
At the end of the show, Jeremy said: “Finishing finally on the most wonderful news, Storm had her beautiful baby girl Sloan this weekend.”

As a picture appeared of Storm holding baby Sloan, he carried on: “Oh, Storm, we’re so proud that it’s all gone well and it’s so brilliant.
“I was wondering if we could hear Storm speaking about it and I think we can.”
A clip of Storm sitting next to Sloan while she slept began to play and she said: “Hi team, it’s Sunday night and I thought I’d send you a little message to introduce you to our newest recruit.
“Now this, if I can zoom in nicely here, is little baby Sloan Blue Okan and she entered this world at 2:30 on Saturday morning – so, party animal.
“And just because Jeremy likes this fact, she was 6.3 pounds and born on the 15th of March.
“And I think that’s all the information you need at this point actually, but this is our first night home from the hospital, so we’re hoping to get more sleep than we have the past two nights, which I think in total was three hours.
“And it’s been wonderful – Otis got to meet his little sister, and he’s been playing a blinder as a big brother, he’s loving his duties.
“Boo, our dog, is less happy, we’ve brought yet another child home from the hospital, but she got used to Otis, so she’ll get used to this one.”

Storm also promised to bring little Sloan into the studio “sometime soon” to meet everyone.
She added: “We’re all just overjoyed and Excited to come in and see you all in the studio in real life, sometime soon.”
Returning to Jeremy in the studio, he said: “Oh, can’t wait.”
Storm shared an adorable photo of Sloan on Instagram yesterday with the caption: “And just like that… My heart has doubled in size. Welcome to the world little one.”
Fans flocked to the comments to offer their congratulations to the beaming parents as they added how much they love Sloan’s name.
One person said: “Congratulations Storm and family. Love Sloan’s name… Pair of cuties you have there. Enjoy the baby bubble.”
Another added: “Congrats to you all! She is her brother’s double”.
Someone else posted: “Congratulations, Sloan’s absolutely beautiful”.
FAMILY LIFE
STORM also has revealed that she wouldn’t rule out more babies – but said husband Kerr Okan wants to “shut up shop”.
She said: “I’d like to leave it open in terms of having more kids. And my husband would like that shop to shut, so the conversation continues.”
Storm, from Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, married fellow Scot and former The LaFontaines rocker Kerr in 2021 — with Carol Smillie as their celebrant.
The couple, who got engaged in 2020, made it down the aisle at Loch Lomond before welcoming Otis a year later.
Although the mum went on to say that things can be challenging for them because they live hundreds of miles away from their families.
Storm, who lives in London with Kerr, Otis and now Sloan, said: “It’s really, really tough not having family nearby. When they say it takes a village to raise a child, they’re not kidding.
“Anyone that has in-laws and things around the corner that can help out, you have no idea how lucky you are.
“Any help that we get, we have to pay for, even if that is the in-laws coming down on a train.”
And a fifth gushed: “Congratulations to you all on the arrival of your new bundle of joy!”
The news comes after Storm opened up about the challenges of being pregnant last month.
She said: “Second pregnancies are tough. I don’t think we talk about it enough.
“My first pregnancy was a dream. I moaned about the occasional thing and I also had gestational diabetes, which wasn’t the best.
“But being pregnant and having to run around after a two-year-old is no mean feat.
“It should be an Olympic sport, which I would get nowhere near the podium in.”
