Released WWE Star: Vince McMahon Treated WWE Superstars Better Than Triple H

Several fans were on cloud nine when Vince McMahon was forced to resign from his position in WWE because of the Janel Grant lawsuit, but little did they know, they would go on to miss McMahon in the future. Triple H replaced McMahon to become the main man in WWE.

Though fans were jubilant about the decision at first, their opinions might have changed because of the way Triple H is running things in the promotion. Triple H has not been able to win over the fans and wrestlers till now, and his latest actions are making it even harder for the wrestling community to love him.

Recently, former WWE star Baron Corbin opened up on the main difference between Vince McMahon and Triple H after R-Truth’s sudden exit from the promotion. According to Corbin, McMahon knew how to keep fans and wrestlers happy and satisfied. Most of all, the former main man of WWE knew how to appreciate loyalty and sacrifice in the company. Corbin opened up on the situation while talking on the Busted Open Podcast.

Say what you want about Vince, Vince cared about his talent and he cared about the fans. Everything else in his life is his business and whatever he’s dealing with.

Corbin went on to claim that Vince McMahon appreciated loyalty and hard work above everything, but that’s not the case with WWE anymore after Triple H is in charge.

Triple H has done a lot for women’s wrestling over the years. He has scouted and promoted young talents, but one thing he has really failed to do is win the trust and loyalty of WWE’s main roster.

Corbin explains that in the present era of the promotion, no wrestler in WWE is safe, as even superstars like R-Truth are being released without a second thought. This creates a sense of uncertainty and suspicion among the wrestlers, something which was not present when Vince McMahon used to run things.

In the same interview, Corbin compared WWE’s present scenario with that of the NFL, where words like loyalty and sacrifice are meaningless, where a piece of paper decides the future of the individuals.

I think for the locker room, they’re gonna come to a harsh realization that loyalty no longer matters. I think that it has become like the NFL a little bit, a paper league, in my opinion, where it’s no longer about the person, it’s about what’s on paper.

It is the efforts and struggles of countless wrestlers and other individuals over the years which has turned WWE into a household name around the world. Triple H has to understand that without these individuals, the promotion will crash to the ground. He must give them the security and respect they actually deserve after putting their lives at risk every week for the company.

It will be interesting to see whether Triple H will change the way he is running things in WWE, as time is running out for him. He should sort his act out as soon as possible, or else he might be the next head to roll in WWE.
