Lauren Burnham Is Pregnant After Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s Vasectomy Reversal

Bachelor Nation’s Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are expanding their family once again.

“Our last missing piece,” Lauren, 33, captioned an Instagram post on Monday, March 10, showing off her baby bump. “Coming this September.”

Arie, 43, and Lauren are already parents to daughter Alessi, 5, and twins Senna and Lux, both 3. All three kids appeared alongside their parents in the announcement photos, which were taken on the beach. The entire family matched in white tops and jeans as they showed off their love. One image featured Arie holding up a sonogram.

The couple also spoke further about the news in a YouTube video uploaded on Monday, in which Lauren confirmed that they first tried to get pregnant just after Arie’s vasectomy reversal — which actually took place last summer.

“A lot has happened since then,” Arie said. Lauren chimed in to add that they tried for a while but she experienced a chemical pregnancy, which is an early miscarriage.

“We’re super excited,” Lauren added. “Our last baby.”

Their pregnancy news comes weeks after Arie announced his plans to reverse his vasectomy so the duo can have more kids.

“We said we were done having kids, like, a couple years ago, but I think we’re gonna do it one more time,” Lauren said in a YouTube video uploaded late last month. “That sounded funny, like, we’re only going to do it one time.”

Arie and Lauren got married in 2019 after meeting on his season of The Bachelor. (Arie initially proposed to Becca Kufrin but broke off their engagement because of his feelings for Lauren.)

“As you guys know, I got the vasectomy [in 2022] after the twins were born,” Arie said in the YouTube video uploaded on February 20. “Ever since, I think I rushed it, honestly. It’s more on me, [and] I think having the twins was hard at first.”

Lauren noted that her husband had scheduled the procedure “without consulting” her first. “I got on board,” she added. Arie, however, changed his mind.

“All of our kids are at the best age right now and I just felt, like, ‘Dang it, I think we could do this again,’” he said. “If we had a singleton, we could totally handle that.”

Following their pregnancy news on Monday, several Bachelor Nation members were quick to weigh in with fellow former Bachelor Sean Lowe, Lauren Lane, Kelsey Anderson and Corrine Olympios sharing well-wishes in the comments section.

“Absolutely incredible! God bless,” the show’s former host, Chris Harrison, commented. “Now time to reverse the reversal.”
