While Ashley Olsen and her twin sister Mary-Kate Olsen were plastered everywhere as children, they’ve ensured their privacy in adulthood. And now, since Ashley has become a mom, she’s working to make sure her son, Otto, has the private childhood she never had!
Sources told Life and Style Magazine about her private parenting style. “Having grown up in the spotlight with every single move under the microscope, Ashley wanted the exact opposite for Otto,” they said to the outlet. “And that has meant not bringing him in public, not talking about him [and] not posting about him.”
They stressed, though, that she’s an “amazing mom,” and “like any working [parent,] Ashley looks at pics of her kid 500 times a day and wants to be at every music class or gym class. Nothing could’ve prepared her for the joys of these moments with Otto.”
While fans shouldn’t hold their breath seeing any pics of Otto, everyone should be so happy that Ashley is thriving as a mom, and working to make sure Otto lives his best life away from prying eyes!
For those who don’t know, back in Oct 2017, Ashley started dating artist Eisner. Fast forward to Dec 2022, and they married in Bel Air, Los Angeles. In 2023, they welcomed their first child together, a son named Otto.
However, they actually never confirmed to any outlets about their son’s birth, and kept everything a secret. Even in July 2024, not much else is known besides his name.
As we said, the Olsen family is quite private, so we’re not at all surprised that Ashley and Eisner are prioritizing their son’s privacy. Back in July 2021, her twins sister Mary-Kate told i-D shared that the reason they’re so private is simple. She said, “We were raised to be discreet people.”
