ARTHUR Gourounlian “frightened” his daughter Blu after donning his new hair do.
The Dancing With The Stars judge was back in the hot seat last night for the semi-finals of the hit RTE show.
The theme of Sunday’s show was ‘Fright Night’, and Arthur made sure to dress for the occasion.
The 44-year-old explained his look as a “theatrical ensemble with a dark, futuristic aesthetic”.
He wore a deep olive and bronzed structured “almost straightjacket-inspired silhouette” jacket.
The choreographer paired it with matching tailored pants that “maintained the cohesive dystopian feel”.
The dad-of-two wore a pair of chunky black platform boots that he said “reinforced the bold and edgy vibe”.
His makeup artist Sandra Gillen did a striking dark smokey eye look on him.
But the star of the show was his fabulous hair-do done by Sian Sharkey.
Arthur’s curly locks were scraped back into two space buns at the top of his head.
His hubby Brian Dowling and daughters Blu and Blake watched Arthur on TV from home yesterday.
And while Brian loved Arthur’s striking look, Blu wasn’t as much of a fan.
The Six O’Clock Show host recorded a clip of them watching and said: “Let’s see what Arthur’s wearing for Fright Night.”
Brian started laughing when he saw his hubby and shouted: “Arthur’s hair!”
Blu started to make some noise and Brian replied: “Oh Blu, is papa frightening you? We’ll get a good gawk at Arthur. That’s dada Blu. He looks like Blake with his hair up.”
Blu started to cry and Brian said: “Okay, is papa scaring you?”
‘OBSESSED’
He posted the video on Instagram and wrote: “I 100% approve of this look. But I’m not sure Blu does.”
Arthur also posted some fabulous photos of himself posing in his DWTS wardrobe and his fans all loved them.
Brian wrote: “I’m OBSESSED with your hair!! All I can see is BLAKE.”
DWTS host Doireann Garrihy said: “Drop the skincare routine you look 10 years old hun.”
Louise commented: “My absolute FAVOURITE so far.”
Emma added: “INCREDIBLE. You looks so good!”
