The world of professional wrestling was turned upside down with the shocking turn of events that took place at the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. The ending of the event was game changing and has drastically altered the complexion of the road to WrestleMania 41.

The American Nightmare turned down The Rock’s offer and told him to “Go F*ck Yourself.” At that very moment, John Cena hugged him, but got a signal from The Final Boss. Right then, Cena attacked Rhodes, shockingly turning heel and laying him in the middle of the ring, beaten and battered. This has sent the wrestling world into a frenzy, with rumors and updates rolling in on the road to WrestleMania.

Is The Rock now slated for a match and future appearances on the road to WrestleMania 41?

According to a new report by PWInsider, The Rock and John Cena will form a new and powerful alliance heading into WrestleMania 41. In regards to a potential match at the show after returning to WWE, the report added that he is still not working a match at The Show of Shows this year.

Furthermore, in a report by WrestleVotes, The Rock is expected to appear alongside The Cenation Leader for one of the RAW overseas events. Many events are scheduled as part of their European tour, and The Final Boss is likely to appear leading up to WrestleMania 41.

As part of the same storyline, it seems that The Rock has bigger problems to worry about than Cody Rhodes on the road to WrestleMania. On the RAW after Elimination Chamber, CM Punk did not hold back and launched a verbal assault on both The Rock and John Cena, claiming that he would see them down the road.

In a report by Fightful Select, Punk’s verbal tirade promo was received very well backstage. All the credit went to CM Punk and the writer responsible for writing the heated promo, Alexandra Williams. In that same round of reports, Fightful also stated there is no word regarding Trish Stratus’ involvement on the road to WrestleMania 41 after her appearances leading up to a match at the Elimination Chamber PLE.
