When Scary Movie 5 hit theaters in 2013, it was supposed to feature a few steamy moments between Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen. But Lohan had other plans. According to TMZ, she refused to kiss Sheen on set, worried about what she might “catch” from the actor, given his infamous party-boy reputation.
Instead of the scripted three kisses, a body double stepped in for the more intimate moments. But even that didn’t work out perfectly – some scenes had to be scrapped altogether. The hesitation wasn’t shocking. At the time, Sheen had a reputation that went beyond just wild nights and over-the-top interviews.
Despite the on-set awkwardness, there didn’t seem to be any lingering tension. That same year, Sheen revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show that he and Lohan eventually bonded off-screen. The two starred together again in Anger Management, and at some point, their working relationship turned into late-night drinking sessions.

I invited her over one night and said lets watch our episode because it’s pretty f***ing cool. I out-drank her, or she out-drank me. And she literally tucked me in. I got tucked in by Lindsay Lohan. She kissed me on the cheek and said, ‘Sleep well young prince.’
In the end, Lohan dodged the scripted lip-lock but still made a bizarre Hollywood memory with Sheen. One canceled kiss, one awkward scene, and a whole lot of industry gossip.
