Amid this, it seems that old habits are running back for Affleck. Reports suggest that the actor hopes to get back together with Garner, even though his ex-wife is happily in a relationship.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have only recently become officially divorced. However, much like Batman, Affleck seems to work very fast. Even though he has just gotten out of a serious relationship, he seems to be going back to his ex again. Only this time, the last name has changed.
When their divorce was still actively happening, he was spotted being quite close and cozy with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. However, these rumors seem to have taken a new turn into something very surprising. A source close to the situation gave an interview with Page Six, and what they had to say is less shocking than it is unfortunate.

It was alleged that Affleck had only gotten close to Garner after his divorce, so much so that he began to develop feelings for her again. The insider claimed that the actor is hoping to get back together with his ex-wife, wanting to give their pairing another chance.

Pointing out timing and circumstances, they claimed that Affleck is hoping that something could happen between them if the opportunity is right. However, there is a very big element that he seems to have sidelined for the most part.
Jennifer Garner is in a happy relationship
Jennifer Garner has been romantically involved with businessman John Miller since 2018. Their relationship has stood strong, and they seem to be doing well, even though the actress is co-parenting with her ex-husband. With this in mind, Ben Affleck’s feelings towards her may not change anything.
The source added this too, stating that the actor was aware that his wishes for a relationship with Garner were quite unrealistic. Also talking about where Affleck is in his personal life, they mentioned that his divorce has made him open a new chapter in his life.
At the same time, Ben knows it’s just not realistic at this time in their lives. Ben just got out of a marriage and finalized his divorce [from Jennifer Lopez], he is really busy with work and is focused on this new chapter. Plus, Ben respects Jen’s relationship with John [Miller] and would never come between them.

The feeling is not mutual on Jen’s side. She’s happy with John and that’s just not where her head is at. She has a great co-parenting relationship with Ben, and that’s where things stand on her end at the moment.
They stated that the actress does not feel the same as Affleck and would not want to explore their hypothetical relationship. They even brought Miller into the conversation, stating that she is more than happy with him and does not want to do anything more than co-parenting with Affleck. It is safe to say that the entire situation is quite unfortunate for the Batman actor.
