But those tuning in have been quick to joke about some of her behaviour, including mimicking Fred Flintsone by pulling out a fish bone and saying “yabadabadoo”.
Meg at one point jokes that “my bacon brings all the boys to the yard”, and says when she cooks it Harry and the three dogs suddenly appear in the kitchen.
The duchess, while arranging some flowers, produces a makeshift bin to put any rubbish in and says she is such a clean freak, her daughter Lilibet has made up a song called “clean as you go” which she does a brief rendition of.
In one bizarre moment, Meg gets flustered and tells her guest Alice Waters: “I feel like you’re watching me fall in love” as she eats a turnip.
She also reveals the music she listens to most includes yacht rock and French dinner party tunes.
Friend Mindy Kaling asks image-conscious Meg about her “look” but the duchess has no idea what she means before saying in a funny accent: “Oh my, look, she likes my look!”
During one episode she also reveals how she grew up on fast food and TV dinners, admitting she ate “a lot of Taco Bell, Jack in the Box”.
She then corrected Mindy who referred to her as “Meghan Markle”, saying she’s a “Sussex” now, adding: “This is our family name.”
In the same episode, Meg reveals her bizarre party bags for kids with gardening tools, peas and seeds and a manuka honey stick for “something sweet”.
She said: “When I’m putting together a kids party I think about the senses…
“There’s a real delight in being a present parent sometimes. “
A pal then mum shamed her by saying kids under one year can’t eat honey.
In a later episode, Harry arrives at a party and does an odd hand wave.
In another slightly bizarre moment, Meg is seen leading her beloved rescue dog Guy – who has since passed away – around the back garden on a lead.
In a reference to Family Guy, Meg makes jam and says: “It’s peanut butter jelly time.”
