MARRIED At First Sight Australia fans have slammed show groom Eliot Donovon just moments into the first episode amid his controversial conduct.
The 35-year-old business owner instantly ruffled feathers on the programme by admitting he had the “longest list of non-negotiables” and would not entertain the thought of a marriage with a “trashy, obnoxious” woman.

Eliot instantly admitted he would not go through with the ceremony if he did not like his bride on first viewing.
His comments instantly made him stand-out among the cast of ten grooms as he raised more than a few eyebrows.
Upon the first meeting between the show’s men, it did not take long for Eliot to spark a show feud after taking aim at comments made by one of his fellow grooms.
He appeared to have a clash with 38-year-old primary school teacher, Tim.
During a discussion about marriages and relationships, Tim confessed that he enjoyed “over-caring” about his partner in a romance.
Tim said: “I think I have been the one who has cared too much.
But Eliot quaffed at the comment and later branded Tim an “ick” for saying he would care too much about his potential partner.
The groom spat back at Tim: “That to me is a bit of a red flag.
“I think it can be an ick if you are over-caring.”
Eliot laughed at the thought as Tim and many of the other grooms stuck by the comment and argued “you can never care too much”.
Eliot begged the grooms to trust him and told Tim he “needed to peel back”.
It resulted in fans slamming the groom with one writing: “Over caring gives him the ick … interesting.”
Another wrote: “Elliot you’re on the wrong show mate, grow up!”
Before a third penned: “Why would they chose Elliot to be on the show.”
