CORONATION Street star Rebecca Atkinson has married her former co-star partner in a lavish ceremony in front of their celebrity pals.
Rebecca, who also starred in Channel 4 series Shameless, said ‘I do’ as she wed fellow co-star Ben Batt over the weekend.

Rebecca who recently joined the cast of Corrie as Rob Donovan’s dodgy prison guard Mandy, looked stunning in a white lace gown.
She was snapped by her pal and fellow Shameless star Samantha Sidall ahead of the nuptials, which were held at Lancaster’s stunning Wennington Hall on Saturday afternoon.
The actress, who starred alongside both Rebecca and Ben in the Channel 4 sitcom, shared a series of snaps from Rebecca and Ben’s big day via her own Instagram account.
One snap showed the newlyweds beaming as they pose together just moments after the ceremony.
While another snap shows the happy couple pose alongside Samantha and their fellow former Shameless co-star Lindsey Dawson who was also in attendance at the ceremony.
Friends and fans of the pair were quick to offer their messages of congratulations.
Coronation Street actress Sally Carman wrote: “Oh this has made my day! How utterly gorgeous and fabulous.”
While another follower added: “You both look lovely. Congrats to the happy couple.”
And a third posted: “Beautiful photos.”
Some fans also expressed their joy at seeing Rebecca and Ben tie the knot in real life – more than 16 years after they played on-screen couple Karen and Joe in Channel 4’s Shameless.
One excited fan wrote: “Aww this is amazing. Karen and Joe are married in real life.” And another gushed: “Omg Karen and Joe where already Karen and Joe in real life.”
The pair are thought to have been in a relationship since meeting on set of Shameless in 2009, when Ben joined the cast as the character of Joe Pritchard.
Rebecca appeared as a regular on the show from when it launched on C4 in 2004.
Earlier this year, The Sun revealed that Rebecca was set to join the cast of Coronation Street as a new character named Mandy.
The character featured heavily in the gritty prison plot involving returning character Rob Donovan, played by Marc Bayliss.
