WWE has created a legacy in the world of entertainment wrestling throughout the years. From iconic fights, to bitter feuds, and clandestine scandals, the franchise has seen it all. At the very center of it, though, were the wrestlers with their stunning lores and mesmerizing performances that the audience has lapped up for years.
Triple H, as one of the greatest in the franchise, has been a big part of it. His duties, though, only increased when he took over the creative department in 2023 following Vince McMahon’s abrupt departure.
It turns out, though, he had been more than proving his worth not just backstage but also in revenue. The recent news of the franchise making a big decision to secure its cash flow has only cemented that fact.
WWE set to earn $165 million per year from 2026 with their Saudi Arabia events
WWE had been making some big upheavals for the last couple of years. First, in a historic decision straight out of fairy tales, WWE and UFC merged to found the TKO Group Holding Inc. in 2023 under Endeavor.
The next year, Vince McMahon ended his long reign over the celebrated franchise following a se*ual misconduct scandal involving an employee, according to Variety. Ever since, the company has faced many upheavals from time to time, with Triple H, aka Paul Levesque, remaining as one of the only relics of a past era.
However, reports suggest the former wrestler turned Content Head of the TKO Group has been more than proving his worth. Fans are aware that WWE holds two events per year in Saudi Arabia in general. Except for the COVID-19 pandemic, that schedule has remained intact, and for good reason.
However, there will be changes to that format soon, as per Andrew Schleimer, TKO Groups’ CFO, in an announcement during the company’s revenue meeting on Wednesday. According to Fightful, Schleimer noted that they would hold one premium live event in Saudi Arabia in 2025, instead of two PLEs like last year.
This results in an unfavorable impact to our 2025 plan of approximately $55 million of total company revenue. We expect to host three PLEs in Saudi Arabia in 2026, including Royal Rumble.
This obviously has caught fans’ attention for more than one reason. The first and obvious reason is that they would be witnessing one of the most anticipated matches of the year, the Royal Rumble, in Saudi Arabia.
Something many aren’t exactly a fan of. The second reason being if just one match in the country earns $55 million, it would mean three matches would catapult their revenue to a whopping $165 million per year.
That, combined with the various other earnings, assures the company an insane amount of earnings without making too much effort. As such, fans believe that it is no wonder that the franchise is all but set to make Saudi Arabia their next cash cow.

This news was met with appropriately open mouths and gawking stares from fans. Inevitably, they took to X to express their opinions on the matter.
One fan pointed out that the company would probably be able to earn more than their entire spending in a year, including salaries and airfare, with just those three nights of hard work.
Another one noted that it is no wonder WWE seems to love the Saudi Arabia matches so much. Someone else quipped that if it’s true, then they might just start hosting every match in that country in the future.

At any rate, making Triple H the Content Head of TKO is seemingly turning out to be one of the best decisions the company has made. In fact, one of the former wrestler’s greatest rivals, The Undertaker, aka Mark Calaway, also recently commended him as per the Daily Mail.
As per The Undertaker, his old rival has completely changed the vibe backstage from a highly strung atmosphere to a much more laid-back setting. As such, old and even new talents are supposedly thriving in this new era of WWE under Paul Levesque.
Although Vince McMahon had been estranged from the franchise for more than a year now, he would surely be proud of his son-in-law for expanding his legacy to new horizons.
