AN EARTHQUAKE has rocked a tourist hotspot near the Great Barrier Reed – forcing holidaymakers to evacuate.
The quake centred around Townsville, North Queensland, and was magnitude 4.4, according to Geosciences Australia.
Brenn Clinton, a British CEO said his daughter is on holiday staying in a hotel in Townsville and was told to evacuate.
