RAYE has received only one nomination at Brits for best R&B act despite sweeping the awards last year.
Raye passed down her crown to Charli XCX who has received the most nominations with five nods at this year’s Brit Awards.
The pop singer took the world by storm last summer when she dropped her album Brat and has been named the Brits songwriter of the year ahead of the ceremony.
Charli, 32, is up against Dua Lipa, Central Cee and Sam Fender in the artist of the year category.
Brits bosses are also planning a special tribute to One Direction singer Liam Payne at this year’s awards.
The most anticipated night in British music industry will air at 8pm tonight on ITV1 and ITVX.
