What TV channel is Munster vs Edinburgh on? FREE stream, kick-off time and odds for URC fixture

MUNSTER welcome the visit of Edinburgh to Musgrave Park this evening as URC action returns during what’s an off week in the Six Nations.

Club legend and assistant coach Denis Leamy insists a home quarter-final in the URC is their top priority.

The Reds moved up the table after securing a bonus point from a 29-8 win over Scarlets at Thomond Park a fortnight ago.

It was the 2023 champions’ second bonus-point win in a row, following the 19-38 victory over Dragons in Newport last month.

Speaking ahead of the clash, defence coach Leamy reckons it is vital his side maintains momentum as the Thomond Park outfit head into the business end of the season.

The Tipperary native said: “We want to get a home quarter-final.

“We set high standards for ourselves. It’s a very tough league, it’s very competitive.

“It has been for the last number of years and every game is a battle.

“And, you know, I think we’ve done really well over the last couple of weeks to put ourselves back into fifth place.

“We had a tough challenge against Scarlets at home and we put in a really good performance on the night.

“The run-in now is going to be very difficult, but that’s the way the league is.”
